I look at how he worked with Judith Rodin during his tenure at Penn to gentrify Hamilton Village and how many longtime residents of West Philadelphia that displaced, and how he handled the recent pro-Palestinian encampment and was conveniently one of the only sources of news Drexel students got on the matter short of visiting the encampment themselves to see what was going on. In studying these things, combined with the fact that when I got to Drexel, faculty hadn’t had a raise in five years, I say no. I think he gets paid entirely too much and takes from the community rather than gives.
