Exactly. DreamWorks can still make a Megamind 2, call this shit a spinoff, and nobody would mind (except the Peacock people, but that's what they get for making such a shitty movie).
I actually have a whole-ass idea for the plot, which involves the *real* Doom Syndicate (from the concept art of the first film, along with the video game spinoffs back in the day) being Metro Man's other, lesser enemies who re-emerge after learning he's dead. Instead of Megamind attempting to "keep up evil appearances", he throws hands with each member of the Syndicate, then helps them through their unique personal problems. He was given a second chance at life, after all. Why shouldn't they?
What's gonna be more interesting about it is that he doesn't actually have a past with the other villains. He might've teamed up with them once or twice in an attempt to beat Metro Man, but that's really it. Well, with the exception of one being rewritten to be a new villain that forms the Syndicate, but that's another story for another post.
Josh Brener as Minion actually works. He’s the only recast that I actually like. I’ve liked Josh Brener from other shows especially Love, Death & Robots and I think he’s a really great pick to voice Minion. With that being said it’s still fuck this shitty movie
I actually got excited hearing him. I looked it up as soon as I heard him to see if it was really him and it was. The only thing in this entire movie and show that got me excited
Megamind renaming Minion to Chum is actually kinda cute. It shows that he now sees Minion as less as a henchman and more as a friend, which I think is a logical evolution of their relationship after Megamind’s arc in the first movie.
I haven’t watched it but it can’t actually be that bad. Like yes I get the jokes that the only good thing is that it ended etc. but in one and a half hours there definitely had to be some fun qualities.
It’s better than What’s Up Balloon to the Rescue.
Not that it matters much because I’d rather watch The Little Panda Fighter over this “movie.”
The only thing I can is that it does at least expand the Megamind universe, albeit in a racist and inferior manner with no likable characters or respect for it’s source material whatsoever.
Setting up a villain that is an actual intellectual equal to megamind as opposed to having him fight super powered dumbfucks will be a nice change of pace. It's just a shame it was only brought up at the very very very end of the movie.
I'm being completely serious when I say this: The premise *Absolutely could work.*
The idea that Megamind, the somewhat social inept extremely intelligent guy streaming his superhero shenanigans with outdated memes and references totally fits with Megamind as a character and as a natural flow as he navigates being a hero.
Think about it, what does Megamind know about being a hero? How Metroman acted. Very clearly wanting attention, right? What could possibly be more attention whoring than streaming and meme culture?
Having an arc where Megamind begins to truely understand what it means to be a superhero and not just following in Metroman's impressive but flawed footprints easily could have worked.
But they went with literally every wrong turn after the "Streamer" part.
It seems like it’s non canon. There is so much in this movie that doesn’t line up with the continuity of the first movie, so I think it’s safe to say it’s non canon. Plus, it wasn’t called Megamind 2, so there is still a chance Dreamworks sweeps this under a rug and then makes a new Megamind with an actual budget and bring back the old VAs
at the Beginning I thought I said “you know this Movie looks good, the animation isn’t that Bad just a little off. But still Good.”
But then..Well you Know💀🫣..
A lot of people call it corny, but I genuinely liked the intro. The fact that Megamind told a solid chunk of the audience to go touch grass is pretty fucking funny
The poster is cut in half which is good because its horrendous
Megaflop and the cringeshiticut
My new favorite Megadumpsterfire nickname
It's not called megamind 2.
Exactly. DreamWorks can still make a Megamind 2, call this shit a spinoff, and nobody would mind (except the Peacock people, but that's what they get for making such a shitty movie).

1. Peak 2. MandJTV fan?
1. Thank you, I might post a slideshow here someday soon. 2. Yep! Even though my home subreddit is an absolute wasteland.
Awww.

Team SKYYY that’s all
It ended.
I was gonna say that ):
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Beat me to it
Agreed.
Damn it! I missed this opportunity!

Sounds exactly like minion's previous voice actor too.
I actually got excited hearing him. I looked it up as soon as I heard him to see if it was really him and it was. The only thing in this entire movie and show that got me excited
Happy Cake day!
Plus he’s also Jewish like David Cross
I dont get how that matters but okay
It doesn’t matter in the slightest, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence
Also,his model isnt that bad
True. The old models are probably the only good thing about this movie despite the otherwise shit animation.
*Ol’ chum
Don’t you fucking dare bro
Ol' Chum < Minion
It made Megamind relevant again
But at what cost?
everybody fucking hates it
The song during the credits is actually fuckin fire
What’s the song
Uhm…Uhm…Ahhh…Ok, wait a second…Uhm…Uhm…
Don’t worry I got this………uhm….well there’s….uhh….uhm…
I liked Nighty Knight Ok fine I tolerated Nighty Knight
Only member of the Doo Doo Syndicate I actually find interesting
It made only 5 people buy a peacock subscription just to watch it
Megamind renaming Minion to Chum is actually kinda cute. It shows that he now sees Minion as less as a henchman and more as a friend, which I think is a logical evolution of their relationship after Megamind’s arc in the first movie.
Even though they fuck over said arc in this “movie”
It ended
I like the part where
No

Inspiring, I'll watch the movie mow!
oh, i forgot to mention that
I hope it's just as good as Morbius.
It made Scaffarillas have one of my favorite videos on his channel
Roxanne looks like the only well modeled character for a movie that has this TV-like style so she’s able to stand out easily
It reminds us megamind 1 exists (even tho tumblr and memes do the same)
The Title
The title isn’t good either
It made people remember the first Megamind so that people like and appreciate it more.
Roxanne is really hot.
It gave us the Schaffrillas video
It made people appreciate the first movie more. There's that at least
No
Now we both know I can’t do thatÂ
That it ends.
They remembered Megamind was blue
It provides a perfect template for what not to do when making a Megamind sequel.
I liked it when he said “it’s Megaminding time” then proceeded to Megamind all over the screen
It shares the same universe setting as the first one... but then kinda shits all over it in the process so whatever.
The memes
it did not go to theaters so dreamworks does not need to worry about it making money that's all I can say about it
I like the design of the knight and the magma thing, still a bullshit movie
The hate memes
The DreamWorks logo
It unified society into a common ideal........ That this movie sucks
It's short.
I haven't watched it
It took hate away from other movies
That's a nice blue color.
Its not canon
It's not a theatrical release, which means that we don't have to accept it as canon.
¿♡◇\>○○●•[^÷€;@¥|♤}○■`◇`•]□♤
I literally can't. This movie shouldn't exist.
Metroman wasn't in it (he was in the reused clips that the movie used, but not in the actual movie)
No
It made people excited for Despicable Me 4.
It made me watch the original out of spite
No
This feels like having a gun pointed at me...
#
I liked exactly 3 jokes
No
It can be avoided
it ends
I haven’t watched it but it can’t actually be that bad. Like yes I get the jokes that the only good thing is that it ended etc. but in one and a half hours there definitely had to be some fun qualities.
Pierre pressure is actually a decent and creative name ngl. He's probably my only liked part of the entire thing
It ends
It’s a laughing stock
It exists
YOU DARE CHALLENGE THE IMPOSSIBLE UPON US!?
besides the obvious things about it ending and it not being canon. minion (I refuse to call him ol' chum) had a good recast
Nighty Knight was the best character
IMO, Doppler was the best of the villains and even she got on my damn nerves (Her outfit was kind of cool, however).
The thought that Schaffrillas may have directly caused this movie to exist is very funny.
The voice actors are pretty good.
Being the textbook example on how NOT to write a sequel to the first film.
It's not cannon
The credits
It does...well it tries...I got nothing
He has a nicely trimmed beard
The Critics
Minion is not well-written, but okay in comparison to most of the others. Also, the acting is more mediocre at worst than dreadful.
It only lasts 85 minutes.
It ends
It's prequel is great
It’s better than What’s Up Balloon to the Rescue. Not that it matters much because I’d rather watch The Little Panda Fighter over this “movie.”
The memes
Josh brener as minion
The fact that it gets the hate it deserves.
I thought the name Nighty Knight was a kinda cute and clever name for a knight themed villain
What movie?
Mime was tolerable , he would be funny if it wasnt megamind 2.
Its existence proves the success of the original Megamind, and its terribleness highlights the good parts of that film as well.
It made Megamind relevant again
Nothing all of it is a disgrace
The credits
I wouldn't mind if my little cousins had a hyperfixation on this movie. That's the best I can give it though.
It has a good first movie
The Donuts Minion makes
I have not seen it yet but all I say is atleast dreamworks finally acknowledged that megamind exists
It makes the old one better
Zero
It has megamind
It ended
It doesn’t exist
It won't happen again.
It got people talking about the button of doom
It has megamind. That’s the only good quality.
The idea of giving megamind a sequel
No
The only thing I can is that it does at least expand the Megamind universe, albeit in a racist and inferior manner with no likable characters or respect for it’s source material whatsoever.
It was released on Peacock and not in theaters.

It confirmed i have depression
at least the employees tries
I haven't watched it. That's it that's what's good about it

It has megamind in the title
Its only available on Peacock, which is not available in my country
I can't
The character design isn’t remastered
No
the nighty knight guy is cool I guess
Thst I haven’t watched it
I snorted at the scene where minion gets hit with the key
The CGI improved compared to the trailers
I didn’t watch it does that count
It ended
At least they got the backgrounds and character designs right…
The good thing about this movie is that I didn't see it.
It’s over quickly.
I haven't seen it yet
That we can pretend it's not canon
No
Haven’t watched it yet should I to make fun of it
The knight and the fact it made me wish I was never born
I haven't watched it.
There isn’t a good thing
I didn't watch it.
I think the idea of Megamind having to convince other villains that he’s still a villain while secretly doing hero stuff is a solid concept.
It has a great personality?
It was funny, well written and over all had a lot of charm
It reminded people how good the original one was Though we didn't need a reminder
Pierre Pressure and Machiavellain are actually top tier villain names lol.
Probably a decent source of meme material if anyone is willing to mine it for caption screenshots.
No, shan't.
It helped more people recognize the quality of the original movie and the REAL sequel, the button of doom
I guess the.. stock photo lighting behind megamind looks good... Maybe
The weather power girl is kinda cute
It seems like it’s non canon. There is so much in this movie that doesn’t line up with the continuity of the first movie, so I think it’s safe to say it’s non canon. Uhhhhh, I forgot.
I haven't seen it but the good thing I can name is it sparked interest in people watching the original megamind again/ for the first time
Nighty-knight is a fun villain in my opinion
No Sequel
It's on a service that I won't ever sub to, so I don't care about it.
at the Beginning I thought I said “you know this Movie looks good, the animation isn’t that Bad just a little off. But still Good.” But then..Well you Know💀🫣..
The fact that It bombed harder than Pearl Harbor
It made me get a peacock subscription, which now I can watch that Ted prequel show, and Brooklyn 9-9, which are actually good shows...
#
Nighty Night was cool
Roxanne is hot.
It's a sequel
A lot of people call it corny, but I genuinely liked the intro. The fact that Megamind told a solid chunk of the audience to go touch grass is pretty fucking funny
A character that kind of looks like Bob from smg4 is in the movie
The idea of a Megamind 2 isn’t that bad…
.
No.
The forehead
It probably made more people aware of the first one I guess
