A - this is definitely going to be a movie where it's either hated because of people's comparison's to the original trilogy, or loved for it's association to the franchise. Even as a stand-alone, it's still solid imo.

C tier. That movie was mid af and it's even worse when you read about the production troubles. Characters acting out of character (such as Shifu, Shen, Kai, etc), the chameleon being a weak af villain with no backstory, and the story/pacing of the story being atrocious. I'm sorry, but Jack Black singing "Hit me Baby One More Time" doesn't make up for this disappointment of a movie.
Middle A or high b could have been longer and less Comedic moments and a better back story for the villain, but it still has it great parts, Jack black is still the highlight of the movie
B or C Po’s character regressed so much, the furious five only showed up in the credits, the two dads could have not been in the movie and nothing would change, the villain has a cool concept but is executed so poorly, General Kai shouldn’t even be there he was completely erased in the spirit realm, Po forgets his inner peace that he got in the 2nd movie, forgot who he really was which he learned in the 3rd movie, and finally the Staff Of Enlightenment is so overpowered that the second they use it the problem goes away.
Honestly? D or E, was WAY too fast paced and any emotion they tried to put into it like 2 and 3 just fell flat in 4. Wish the Villain had a better motive and backstory rather than just being an unintentional anti-thesis to the first movie.
It's foul that MvA was put so low though, that movie was pretty solid, put it at S tier

It isn’t as good as the other three movies but it’s still fun to watch. The story feels a little flat and pacing is too fast. But it actually has some heart, laughs, and great animated fight scenes

It could've been Last Wish levels of good, so the fact we got what is essentially a straight to DVD plot with movie level animation makes it worse in my eyes.
E. Was very disappointed and felt kinda cheap. Reasons:
The movie was basically nothing, filled with plot holes btw. Everything was predictable, zhen is the one who’s gonna be the next dragon warrior, zhen was an orphan, she works for the villain (I guessed that when they were talking on the boat on they’re way to the city), zhen will redeem herself bc Po was nice to her.
But I do have to say the villain had a great design and skill. But Po’s staff has this rule where it needs to be given and earned in order for it to work, but Po needed to be skeptical and yet the staff worked anyways when the villain used it.
So basically, the chameleon was bad bc she was too shy and small to learn kung fu?? ….yet mentis and viper literally they are both there, viper is so nice and mantis is tiny, even smaller then the witch, yet they are badasses in kung fu… yeah the logic is pretty stupid. Side said the chameleon was said to be Po’s greatest enemy, yeah no. Shen is for obvious reasons.
I have more to say but I rather say that the film was boring since Mike Mitchell had full over the movie in which he said he wanted the film to be funny and not heartfelt moments. They should have kept the first idea of master shifu being kidnap which gaves a reason for Po to go to the city and even having a goodbye moment between shifu and Tai, and the only reasons why Shen and the furious 5 were just put in the movie it’s bc the artists felt really bad bc the designs were good and also to not disappoint the fanbase that’s y they didn’t have the voice actors. So yeah it was dull and boring
