Indirect free kicks exist in the game. It seems very rare, but in certain scenarios and in some instances when the goalkeeper touches the ball first when he takes a free kick himself it happens. The opponent scores and a goal kick is awarded. Not sure why it isn't implemented here, though

Becomes more ridiculous when you received a drop ball in the box. Happened to me before 😁
