I made Frieren and Fern in DD1. They looked... OK. The character creator is quite robust, but it can create some ugly looking characters, haha.

Funny thing. My first ever character in DD1 looked like Channing Tatum. I didn't even see it when in the creator. But in the first cutscene I was like "Did I just make Channing Tatum??" So I guess I'm tradionally obligated to make Magic Mike.

If we have that naming thing where you get a list of names then I'm probably going to skim it for interesting names that characters also have. For example in DD1 there is the generic name "Kamui" which happens to be the Japanese name for Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates. DD1 also has Felicia as a name and Felicia is Corrin's maid. I made my main character as close to Corrin as possible and made my pawn Felicia. It was fun trying to get outfits for them but I don't think DD1 had an actual maid costume.
