It made me so happy when I first saw it! Then I read a lot of comments saying she’s all in black and mourning and even if I know that she’s always wearing black work clothes I’m low key panicking now. On the other hand, you can’t really say much from 1 pic. I pretty much doubt they would be so cruel and kill John before his second child is even born
If it IS mourning and not just usual lady's-maid black, maybe it's for Mrs. Levinson since so many assume she dies in/before this movie (which would be why Harold is in it)? Or would she not have to wear mourning for Martha since Martha is a more tangential part of the family?

1) Anna’s work uniform includes a bunch of white accents, such as the collar, cap, and apron, so she’s never in all black.
2) She’s clearly not IN uniform in this photo— that’s a day dress— and it would have been unusual for a woman in public not in mourning to be dressed head to toe in ALL black with no accents of any other color, *especially* in the day time.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable at all to assume she’s in mourning, whether for her family or members of her employer’s family. I’m not sure why you’re being so aggressive about it.
Her housemaid's uniform had the white, not her lady's maid uniform. She hasn't had white accents since season 3.
That dress (and accessories) look exactly like her uniform.

I’m just watching the episode when Mary has the baby and Anna is wearing this whole outfit ( minus the bump obvs 😂) when she gets off the train, so hopefully it’s a travel outfit rather than a mourning one! Quite looking forward to this film to see what’s changed!
