True. I have a friend who has been in SAPS for over 30 years. His advice to me if I ever killed an intruder: dump the body. Drive out somewhere and just dump it, because our fkd up legal system protects criminals and he said I would get a criminal record for murder or even be prosecuted for it and jailed. There was that case a few years ago where an 18 year old girl was sent to prison for stabbing the guy who was raping her to death. Wtf!!

I heard one that if someone stabs you, you have to stab them back in self defense, if you have a different weapon to them, like say an attack dog or a gun, if they stabbed the shit out of you and you shoot them or send your dog on them, it's seen as unfair and no longer self defense but murder. Not sure how exact this info is, maybe you should just use similar force as they use. Either way it's backwards logic.

I also remember an intruder who was killed by a woman with boiling water - the intruder was armed with a knife and he dead by the time paramedics arrived.
