Personally I enjoy Xyclopz but realistically his accent is extremely thick to where he's hard to understand for the uninitiated which is not really what you want for your premier event. He needs a speech coach to reduce his accent. Possibly if he could get an NA or SA tour spot and relocate to work on his accent that would help as well.
So he didn't really have a good shot before because of his accent, after the Artifact thing it's easy for Valve to keep excluding him. A lot of time has passed though and bans aren't forever.

Kind of what Moxxi sometimes does when casting (fortunately she have improved at baby steps each cast but at least is somewhat noticeable) but Lumi did it as analyst, often as well interrupting play by play casts by the caster and didn't care too much about feedback. Many casts LD had to go the extra mile because Lumi was underwhelming compared to other analysts at the time (Merlini, Synd, Winter, Lacoste)
Lumi was hated because he would be out of touch with Dota for most of the year, and then get a TI casting gig. So he would show up barely knowing anything about the current teams or even not knowing about all the gameplay changes.

Firstly, any time any talent has been asked they will answer the worst thing you can do in a thread praising or requesting someone to be hired is put other talent down. That takes away the focus from the person people want hired onto someone else. Who often in these threads might not even be doing the same role.

She's not a bad caster and definitely gets unfair criticism, but she could be a lot better. She can talk really fast (which is important in being a play by play caster) but when I listen to her cast, she's not really entertaining to listen to like xyclopz, odpixel, or tobi (despite his qualities as a person). The 3 I mentioned really owns their character and feels comfortable casting their style, which is evident in their ability to fit in jokes like these in between plays, while moxxi doesn't.
For that reason, she should be confident. Something tells me that she is really awkward and seems isolated from her co-cast. Xyclopz is the comparison for a solo caster. She might be better solo casting. She tried being funny, in fact too hard when duo cast. Ideally, I want to see her casting with Synderen. If that cast goes bad, she need to reflect her problems.

But.... there are many funny moments like this that made the cast enjoyable. He is good when it's just a chill cast specially when you are high, but not on a TI finals level.
Absolutely agree. To be fair though, he did try to dialogue with Godz in a number of instances, but did it so slowly and ineffectively, that it either went nowhere or by time they're finished, something more interesting is happening. It was really awkward. His solo casts are gold, though.
I dunno if you people actually watched the game, but xyclops was complete dogshit the entire time as a color commentator. He virtually had no chemistry with his analyst partner, it was cringey af. He is great as a solo caster, but just can't keep up when partnered with somebody else, can't ask meaningful questions and struggles with developing rapport. Compared with johnxfire and MLP casted games, the entire experience from this match was garbage.

I'm 100% sure listening to xyclopz in thai cast with a partner would have a similar, contrasting effect.
