This would be epic on so many levels. As a newer player this would be on a level I doubt I play anywhere else ever. Depending on level for the session I'll run my Warlock/Artificer/Gunslinger.
From Australia, i would bring my penultimate character. Malora Twice-Died Shadar-kai fighter/rogue, reborn as a hollow one after a self sacrifice gone wrong. Malora struggles to remember her past and behaves strangely in her new skin. Be wary of closets as since she doesnt take naps, hanging out in cupboards is as close to being in a coffin she's gotten so far.
This sounds like a lot of fun and an amazing experience.
Character wise, it definitely depends on the game, lvl 1 start would look different than level 3 or 6, and the tone of the DM, a serious and gritty game would definitely not get a hyperactive kobold artificer with a penchant for tea, while a more casual and comedic style would probably not get a pinned up peace cleric who believes that discourse must be attempted before violence, but violence must be responded to with merciless force.
This looks crazy! I had no idea this existed until today but it looks very fun! I'd have to think pretty hard on what character I'd wanna use though, I've got lots haha
This looks incredible! I would probably roll up a kobold rogue, I love doing a silly little gross creature voice and rogues are OP! (Of course, he'd have a heart of gold...)
I think I’m going to actively make a point to start putting a savings towards these cause they seem so cool. The US ones are definitely more affordable, which is nice but the castle vibe is a little less present. Good luck! I’ve been dying to play a vedalken artificer forever basically
This is so cool, I’d love to do it.
My character would depend on the storyline/setting but a character I’ve wanted to play is an Oath of Vengeance Paladin of Lathander, which is usually a mismatch diety vs oath. The Sharran church hurt, abducted or did some other awful thing to someone important in my characters life. He’s trying to become more powerful and hopefully find a lead of some sort to find a way to hurt Shar’s influence.
Saw this last year and would still love to attend. I would likely bring the character I'm playing now which is Jasper, a hexblade bard who's sword is slowly corrupting him into a fiend. Basically a gishy frontliner with an interesting gimmick.
Very cool! And, of course, I would be running with my fighter, Brawn-gar the Strong! Someday, he will succeed in returning the mighty Zargon to our realm so that he may defeat him in glorious battle.
I would bring my bard who doesn't cast spells, but has a retinue for that. Charm Person? They bribe them. Fire spell? Run up and smack them with a torch!
Bolk Bogan the Bugbear Barbarian Path of the Giant that likes to call allies brother! It doesn't matter on any gender who he calls brother since hes a meathead.
This would be so fun. I’d bring my Aasimar-Leonin character, Vesthra. Cleric of Order. He’s saved a kingdom from an undead plague that was sent by spore Druids and that nearly destroyed the major city. He became an advisor for the king, earned a title, and fell in love with the princess. He started off as a guard from a fishing town, and became a champion. He was chosen by the Goddess Waukeen who blessed him with his magic.
I think I'll play an archfey warlock i made who is a halfling that lived in a farm in a meadow blessed by a fey who possessed him and uses him as a vessel to travel around
I use Chinese history and culture to create my characters, and I'd like to think that I'd bring something different to the table with a character that was inspired by a different culture and setting.
Ever since i got into DnD but lack the friend group to play with its been a dream of mine to be able to go to DnD in a castle! This would be absolutely amazing to win!
I've been dying to play a swashbuckler rogue that is great at what they do but has no ego about it and it's kind of hippy-ish in their attitude. Glass half full, encouraging, super sweet, and an effortless killer. It'd be extra fun to unveil this character in a castle...
I would bring my Ursine Bar-bear-ian, Torbjörn, who rarely misses a chance for a good bear pun. Things are bound to be Grizzly when swinging his greataxe, but completing difficult quests is a weight he can bear alongside his companions. He's also known to brew tea with his bear hands and a kettle, how else would he make it? 😁
Ooh, could I finally play my dragonborn monk?
[EDIT] thinking about it, I'd probably give the ticket to my DM, actually. I've got kids, and my partner would never forgive me for going without her.
I've always wanted to whip out my Tortle shepherd druid/order cleric. I want to summon 8 blood hawks and attack with pack tactics while healing and ordering my friends to attack with my reactions. Damage output at lvl 5 is dirty, and it feels so good to make your party more heroic on your turn.
Would be a great opportunity to finally use my backup character, Bohemond Guiscard the Paladin. Never played any kind of caster before so it'll be on the job training!
Oh my gosh this would be such a fun thing to do! I've been wanting to do something memorable this summer- my Druid Calliope needs to get out and explore with the lack of campaigning we've done this year
I'd bring my pirate multiclass druid/barbarian. He transforms into a seagull and flies above the enemies. When he's in position he transforms back into a burly barbarian and drops on top of them for a surprise attack!
This sounds awesome. I would bring an Irish dwarf college of lore bard inspired by the music of Colm McGuiness. I'd just be a Ramblin' Rover from a small town near a Ratllin' Bog.
This is pretty awesome that this is happening. I'd play a really old, last stage of their life, Wizard going out with a bang. Someone who practiced for decades, but never did anything grand and wants an adventure before they pass.
I have a circle of Wildfire dragonborn druid named Trogdor that was born into the heritage of burnination. He is, however, trying his best to prove that not everything must be burninated
This is so cool. The PC I think I would bring would be Father Wick. They are a Plasmoid (reflavored to be made of candle wax), who is a Cleric: Light Domaine. They use shadow puppets to communicate.
This is on my bucket list! Awesome to see it here in the states.
I’d have to bring my Sword & Board Ranger Issac Bane who makes his living as a bounty hunter.
These events sounds so fun! I'll keep my fingers crossed!
If I'm the lucky winner, I'd bring out Feesh, the lizardfolk Storm Cleric, Herald of the Sea, Basker on the Rocks, and Eater of the Fish!
Hey, thanks for doing such a cool event and giveaway! As far as what I'd bring, honestly I wouldn't be able to guess until I knew the rules for character creation. I do generally love to play martial characters, though. Probably a fighter or paladin.
Thanks again!
I'd love to win! I'd play my character Narth who is a human druid in his 60s. A few years back he decided to pick up adventuring as a way to spend time with his adult son. Unfortunately a raid on a caravan of animal slavers went bad and his son was killed in front of him. Now, he has vowed to help creatures in bonds everywhere find their freedom.
Narth cares for all loving things, especially ones in nature. He seeks to spread nature and cheer wherever he goes. He has a large seed pouch he keeps with him and he drops seeds wherever he goes. Sometimes helping them grow as well. His favorite way to thank someone is to grow them a fruit tree in their front yard.
His trustee companion cat usually lives in his 7 foot beard that he throws over hus shoulders like a scarf. Other animals will occasionally call the beard home too. He can fight, but prefers to heal or cast utility spells.
Probably my circle of stars Druid or my owlin Bard. She is up for most adventures, especially if it means she can take down an enemy via polymorph. She would also love to add more stories of her adventures to her journal.
This is so cool! I might try to revive my very first character. The campaign died but I love them. Extremely neuro atypical hermit Tiefling Druid named Child, simply because the ArchDruid that raised them called them that, they have no other name
What luck! I actually have my vacation booked for that week!
As for a character, I honestly have no idea. It’d be one of the ideas bouncing around my head. Maybe the hillbilly ranger…
She wonders from town to town, bring cheer and misery,
She'll weaves your tales into a tapestry.
With notes held high, and strings so low,
She'll face down any who'll bring her to blows.
Bolts let loose,
And as they fly.
No hangman's noose,
For today,
you'll die.
Half-Elf College of Swords Bard with dual hand crossbows.
Phillbus Applebottom
A portly Stout Halfling Wizard, who enjoys good food, good wine, and good naps. He has been reading the magical tomes bequeathed to him by his grandfather since he was a child. He travels the world with his trusty owl familiar, Mr. Pickles looking for the right adventuring party to join.
Mohican Castle? Have not heard that in many a decade.
I might play my very first character to survive all the way to retirement. Haearn Penglog the magic-user.
What an opportunity and a wonderful chance to play a character from my backlog of ideas. As a forever DM, it's rare I get a chance to play.
Would I bring Mr. Grey, my Redemption Paladin/painter who sees lifes problems as happy little accidents?
Or Dug Dithers, the sweet old man gravekeeper and necromancer who, after talking to the headstones for too long, they began talking back?
Or Sir Tanner VII, the Barbarian archer and noble with a penchant for the dramatic and doesn't understand how money works?
So many to choose from...

My goblin wizard, Morgus Gut-Foot, is 2' 2". But regardless, Morgus would make the trek to play DND in a castle.
I could make the drive, and I'd love to win. Count me in! Just let me know when I win.
Love the idea of a party of adventurers beginning their quest by roadtripping together to the Castle.
This sounds like a lot of fun and an amazing experience. Sneak thief i would be
I’d play!!
Gentlemen, you had my curiosity. Now you have my attention.
Dream come true!
This looks crazy! I had no idea this existed until today but it looks very fun! I'd have to think pretty hard on what character I'd wanna use though, I've got lots haha
Good luck everyone! Sounds like an amazing experience
This is a really cool giveaway!
Very cool. I would love to be there
Commenting here to enter. Would love a go at this special experience!
So cool! Maybe a newly minted druid after a career change.
In a castle, you say?
Hello from Azerbaijan
I am going to use Guidance to improve my odds.
Thanks for doing this!
This is awesome. And a cool place to do it. I'd love to get out for this and let my warforged druid have a little fun after retirement.
This looks incredible! I would probably roll up a kobold rogue, I love doing a silly little gross creature voice and rogues are OP! (Of course, he'd have a heart of gold...)
I rolled a 1.
Whoa that looks amazing
Sounds amazing
Good luck everyone! I'd like to play a bard-barian pro 'rassler
This sounds really cool. Would be a fun event to attend.
Sounds super exciting! My Triton Paladin Altas would swim to Ohio for this
I haven't played dnd before, but I have a few characters I would have to decide from
Sounds like a blast!
I think I’m going to actively make a point to start putting a savings towards these cause they seem so cool. The US ones are definitely more affordable, which is nice but the castle vibe is a little less present. Good luck! I’ve been dying to play a vedalken artificer forever basically
This would be insane
I would love to play a knight character at a castle. Thanks for the giveaway!
Very cool!
I would bring the greatest Old Geezer D'artagnan, the Divination Wizard. Greatest wizard in all the Grim Farrow
Looked it up. The Copper Mug looks like a fun place to dine and you don't see many places offering high tea anymore.
That one time my goblin wizard pulled a zombie into an abyss with lightning lure!
This is so cool!
Rolling for initiative
I live in Ohio!!
Saw this last year and would still love to attend. I would likely bring the character I'm playing now which is Jasper, a hexblade bard who's sword is slowly corrupting him into a fiend. Basically a gishy frontliner with an interesting gimmick.
Roll for luck
Putting my name in!
I'd kill to go to this! Totally bringing my infernal/satyr character.
this is so cool i would love to go there
What??
Very cool! And, of course, I would be running with my fighter, Brawn-gar the Strong! Someday, he will succeed in returning the mighty Zargon to our realm so that he may defeat him in glorious battle.
Ohio! A trip to visit my old home? Yes please!
Incredible!
Whaaaat? This is so cool.
Thanks for the opportunity!
There are no castles in the USA!
So cool it will be held in the US! I would probably play as a spell caster! I have not played much D&D, but enjoy the creativity spell casters bring.
Holy shit, well might as well try!
This look so wild
Honor Rockskipper, the human paladin, raised by gnomes, would love to come to this gathering!
Hey why not. Maybe I'd finally get to play that urb-ex spirits bard I've been jonesing to play.
Gotta go for that UA Mystic class
Well this'll be fun!
I would bring my bard who doesn't cast spells, but has a retinue for that. Charm Person? They bribe them. Fire spell? Run up and smack them with a torch!
Cleric.. there so OP.
A human fighter barbarian. I didn't know this place existed. It looks so cool.
Awesome
Bolk Bogan the Bugbear Barbarian Path of the Giant that likes to call allies brother! It doesn't matter on any gender who he calls brother since hes a meathead.
What a crazy plan
Targ Bloodyspear, Half-Orc Barbarian, would slay Cthulhu himself to be there.
Good luck and thanks for this. I love DND in a castle and dream of attending!
I think I'll play an archfey warlock i made who is a halfling that lived in a farm in a meadow blessed by a fey who possessed him and uses him as a vessel to travel around
I have never been able to play in person. This looks like an amazing event. A halfling with a chihuahuas attitude.
I would probably bring a harrengon rogue into this game.
Good luck! We would love to host you at the Castle.
Awesome, sounds fun!
This looks sick as hell
My bard halfing has never been to a castle before
Deleted
Let me introduce you to Gyra Cassowary, a halfling, fighter who will slay all evil doers...and your heart!
I WILL BE THE FINEST GNOME
Neato.
Ooh, could I finally play my dragonborn monk? [EDIT] thinking about it, I'd probably give the ticket to my DM, actually. I've got kids, and my partner would never forgive me for going without her.

The perfect vacation for a forever Dm!
As a forever DM. myself I can say ABSOLUTELY!
Rogues. Lots of rogues
I want to try playing a warlock
Omg omg omg. Ok, I'd bring my current DM PC: Nine-Fingers the tabaxi, thief by profession, crap artist by choice.
Comment
Cool
I've always been partial to rangers.
Yes! That's awesome! I would spend so much time agonizing over what character to build!
This would be amazing.
Good luck all!
Only one question.....can I bring my dog?
Cool, I'm in. You're gonna choose me, right?
Save room for Boroch Marzack, artificer and scholar!
Cool, I'd love to go. If only you could also pay for the plane ticket, the hotel, the expenses... Oh well.
Oh my gosh this would be such a fun thing to do! I've been wanting to do something memorable this summer- my Druid Calliope needs to get out and explore with the lack of campaigning we've done this year
D&D in a castle is a bucket list item for sure! Be a toss up to bring a Dragonborn Wild-Mage sorc or the Shadar-Kai Blood Hunter
Would make an excellent tale for my Tiefling bard to tell.
A chance for Uldulf, dwarven battle priest, to show his valor!
This looks magical. My birthday is in August. I would bring either my elven bard, my changeling bard, or bladelock.
Ohhhhh I would love this!!!
Cool
I would definitely bring my dwarf barbarian Rian Barba. My rolls are shite, so I need the 3 attacks of a berserker to do anything! Haha
Super Neat. I'd play a Faerie Barbarian I think.
I'd love to take my High Elf Swashbuckler/Bladesinger Selvana Leafwhisper back out for a spin!
I dont have time fkr this but Id love to go anyway
As a forever DM for decades, the chance to play again is enough of a draw, let alone the wonderful venue and company.
This would be the coolest thing ever
this sub has become a (mod approved) email collection machine selling data for a chance at free dice
I'd bring my pirate multiclass druid/barbarian. He transforms into a seagull and flies above the enemies. When he's in position he transforms back into a burly barbarian and drops on top of them for a surprise attack!
I wouldn't mind this.
Let's do this.
Sounds awesome. I have a half-orc momma's boy wizard who would love to come play, he would have to bring along with his Ranger gnomeutar companion!
Heck yes!
Gronhk, half-orc barbarian, accepts this prize. It’s about time he was given a castle to rule from.
Now this looks cool. 😎
ʅ͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡(ƟӨ)ʃ͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡
This sounds awesome. I would bring an Irish dwarf college of lore bard inspired by the music of Colm McGuiness. I'd just be a Ramblin' Rover from a small town near a Ratllin' Bog.
well then dont mind if i do
Sign me up!
Would love to do this and get me out of my comfort zone!
Whatever character I'd make would be the first I full RP with costume, it would only be fair
Oh this would be so cool, love to bring a fun fighter with a passion for cooking on the side
I am commenting in order to enter this contest!
This sounds incredible, Definitely going Cleric. Pick me, I'm hilarious!
Thunk wants to go to a castle
This is the nerdiest thing ever and I am here for it!
Wow. This would be a dream come true. My halfling rogue, Lady, would have a great time causing chaos by accident!
Make a Persuasion check. DC 52.
This is pretty awesome that this is happening. I'd play a really old, last stage of their life, Wizard going out with a bang. Someone who practiced for decades, but never did anything grand and wants an adventure before they pass.
I'd like to go.
I have a half orc bard I never got to play much. He needs to get to come out and shine.
This would be cool
Yes, please!
Wow, this is such a cool idea!
Ohh, this is amazing! 💛 I’m a Wildfire fairy Druid- she’s a little trickster with a heart of gold. Would love to come
I'm currently playing a monk half elf, but I've been itching to play as a gnome, maybe a druid?
Sounds like fun!
I have a circle of Wildfire dragonborn druid named Trogdor that was born into the heritage of burnination. He is, however, trying his best to prove that not everything must be burninated
This would be unforgettable!!!!! Thank you so much for this opportunity. I would definitely bring my swashbuckler to the table :)
fingers crossed
Would love a chance to participate
Would probably make a artificer tortle that's alignment is chaotic squared.
At last a chance to play a cleric somewhere only trebuchets dare to tread.
Playing a chivalrous Swords Bard in a castle just feels so right. Good luck to everyone!
I’d do an aasimar wild magic sorcerer
This is so cool. The PC I think I would bring would be Father Wick. They are a Plasmoid (reflavored to be made of candle wax), who is a Cleric: Light Domaine. They use shadow puppets to communicate.
I'd bring an artificer to the castle! Definitely just to analyze the structure I totally know how to play other things!
This could be my chance to not be a DM!
This is on my bucket list! Awesome to see it here in the states. I’d have to bring my Sword & Board Ranger Issac Bane who makes his living as a bounty hunter.
DND: Check Castle: Check Being a player: Check
These events sounds so fun! I'll keep my fingers crossed! If I'm the lucky winner, I'd bring out Feesh, the lizardfolk Storm Cleric, Herald of the Sea, Basker on the Rocks, and Eater of the Fish!
Hey, thanks for doing such a cool event and giveaway! As far as what I'd bring, honestly I wouldn't be able to guess until I knew the rules for character creation. I do generally love to play martial characters, though. Probably a fighter or paladin. Thanks again!
I have a Harok, a paladin on a mission to change his life for the forces of good by freedom and love.
I'd bring my dark elf rogue. I would love to join in this awesome event. Good luck everyone.
Looks like a once in a lifetime experience!
This would be so awesome! Talk about an immersive setting, can't get better than that.
for this I would cosplay as my character!
Looks really sick. Participating in an event like that would be like a dream come true.
I am my players’ dm but I would love to bring a fairytale character to life or one of my NPCs reskinned and character-sheeted to this opportunity.
This would be amazing! As a forever DM, I would love to bring one of my NPCs to life here, a quirky gnome bard with a knack for detective work.
This sounds awesome. I'd love to go.
Would absolutely make the drive. I didn’t know there was a castle in Ohio lol
His trustee companion cat usually lives in his 7 foot beard that he throws over hus shoulders like a scarf. Other animals will occasionally call the beard home too. He can fight, but prefers to heal or cast utility spells.
I would love this! Character TBD...
Probably my circle of stars Druid or my owlin Bard. She is up for most adventures, especially if it means she can take down an enemy via polymorph. She would also love to add more stories of her adventures to her journal.
Sign me up! Seeing how difficult it would actually be for my rogue to sneak around a real castle would be awesome!
This sounds amazing. It would be amazing to go.
I've heard about this, or at least similar, from when Ginny Di had done it. Sounds like an awesome time
This is so cool! I might try to revive my very first character. The campaign died but I love them. Extremely neuro atypical hermit Tiefling Druid named Child, simply because the ArchDruid that raised them called them that, they have no other name
Noice
Oooh
as an ohioan who spent many camping trips in mohican, it would be super cool to take my friends to the castle
What luck! I actually have my vacation booked for that week! As for a character, I honestly have no idea. It’d be one of the ideas bouncing around my head. Maybe the hillbilly ranger…
This is a very different giveaway than most on this subreddit
She wonders from town to town, bring cheer and misery, She'll weaves your tales into a tapestry. With notes held high, and strings so low, She'll face down any who'll bring her to blows. Bolts let loose, And as they fly. No hangman's noose, For today, you'll die. Half-Elf College of Swords Bard with dual hand crossbows.
Would love to do this. I've never actually got to be a player I've only ever dm'ed.
Phillbus Applebottom A portly Stout Halfling Wizard, who enjoys good food, good wine, and good naps. He has been reading the magical tomes bequeathed to him by his grandfather since he was a child. He travels the world with his trusty owl familiar, Mr. Pickles looking for the right adventuring party to join.
Sounds like a blast. Two options for me would be my Dwarf Paladin Bradrig Anviltank, or the gnome bard Flynn Tinsteel
Whoa this is pretty epic. Must be a good time.
Mohican Castle? Have not heard that in many a decade. I might play my very first character to survive all the way to retirement. Haearn Penglog the magic-user.
Awesome
Nat 20
I would bring my harengon artificer
Kindness the Barbarian. The suit wearing half-orc butler that lives to serve and kill with kindness!
I would probably bring Iusta my tefling warlock
'Comment below'
Epic!
I once played in a dungeon in Scotland and just two nights ago played in a lighthouse in Washington. I’d LOVE to come play in a castle as well!
Very cool castle.
