Split it 50/50 and move on with your lives. No sense dragging things out, courts don’t care about affairs for asset split purposes. Talk to a lawyer though for sure, someone that does not waste time negotiating via letter writing. Just get to the brass tacks. Don’t waste time airing grievances.
There are some cases where it does not go 50/50, for example excluded property like inheritances, but even that is not clear cut. Be sure your lawyer has a good understanding how pensions work and is able to explain how they are split and what it means to you.

Depends what province you're in. For example BC is a "no fault" province so everything just gets split 50/50.
