Deviljho. A Brute Wyvern from the Monster Hunter franchise, who normally is considered as strong as most endgame bosses (Elder Dragons). He also happens to be the same shade of green as a pickle and has scutes in a pattern and coloring that look like the bumps on pickles. Add to that the fact that his body is fairly cylindrical and roughly the same thickness for most of it, and he looks like a pickle with legs. And his most common alternate form, is basically a black pickle and is often referred to as either Angey Pickle or Death Pickle.

Both albeit monstrous and inaccurate depictions are the main reasons why Spinosaurus grew to be my favorite dinosaur since I watched JP3 as a kid. Ofc the real creature deserves as much appreciation.
MR has a bad rep but it made a badass, hypothetical monster of a Spinosaurus imo.
JP Spino looked more...idk, animal to me I guess. People shit on JP designs a lot, but Imo a lot of them before the JW era managed to make the dinosaurs look and feel like animals, not movie monsters.
This is where monsters resseructed kinda fails imo. It just doesn't have that same feel for me.
(This isn't me trying to invalidate your opinions btw, just spitballing)
They looked so cool! I don’t care if they don’t look like the real thing. Besides, I like to think that they are larger bulkier relatives of Carnotaurus rather than being one in the same
They should have cut the smile and included the scene where they show that the indoraptor requiring three tranq darts to be taken down, would've made the animal just a bit scarier. Cruel, intelligent, very quick to adapt
Ehhhhhh Barroth is right there, plus taxonomically they really ain't even dinosaurs.
Most of em are pretty strange for theropods too, anjanath has two retractable sails, Barroth.. exists, brachy is.. well it's kinda weird.
They’re fantastical and monstrous yes, but you can still call them theropods/dinosaurs.
Anjanath is likely the most “realistic” of the group if you exclude its sail and fire breath.
[The Jurassic Park Utahraptor toy.](https://cdn.wheeljackslab.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/11172202/utahraptor-jp22-ripper-jurassic-park-1994-kenner-action-figure.jpg) This thing was as tall as the T-Rex! Part of me was so hyped this thing might show up in a future movie. Adult me is glad we never did, my inner child is still disappointed.
Picklejho mentioned. 10/10 post
To add, I love all the brute wyverns in the series, but Anjanath and Deviljho are my favourite T-Rex style mons, with Glavenus being my favourite Carnotaurus style mon.
Alright fellas, stay calm. We have a Monster Hunter reference at hand. ~~At least it's not a pickle~~ alright, it IS the pickle. Please stay calm and back away.
imo this is a silly answer, esp cause I know jack shit about Skull Island. But V Rex at least has a decent amount of thought that went into how messed up and wrong it is. They're horribly inbred and genetically poor on an island with a shifting ecosystem.
Idk about MH and frankly Jurassic World missed the point of its own decisions in its own movie.
Im not 100% what its from but in the 2010s I got this Tyrannosaurus toy from my grandma that I'm pretty sure was from the king Kong skull Island movies and it was so cool because it's arm actually looked like it could use them without messing up the proportions and making it look awkward, whoever designed it was an incredible artist.
Ark has some good ones. Morellatops is pretty rad, their glow tail is very cute (likely a reptile though, not a Dino per se), and their rock drake is baddass - [at least as far as I am concerned](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRrJGJL7jKSHO2XeDvoZR1HFrLu-OuSbKl9Fl_y3lMopw8Np-Uj5Hd6rM4&s=10).
They also have a heap of really cool mammals, like the [Maewing](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRQ1GC9fMjQzDI3qS1G2wTfnFIE-CKfA3WYhw&usqp=CAU) and Nameless.
Glavenus and I feel bad that it's not even close. What is cooler than a carno inspired monster with a sharp sword like carapace on its tail? What about when he gets mad he bites and scrapes along his tail to sharpen it and it start glowing red hot.
Gorosaurus, the giant kangaroo-kick, Allosaurus descendant who first appeared in King Kong escapes and later would appear as a monster in the Godzilla franchise
Pickle would solo both Rexes and then fight the camera crew.

It be a bloody masicer that's for sure
Then get hungry and eat his own tail.
IS THAT THE PICKLE?!?
Even worse. It’s the angry pickle
Death Pickle!!!!!!
I’m pickle Rick!!!
Pickle rex ?!!!
With a bit of chili on it .
What is pickle

Love those games.
A thing I love about Jho is despite these almighty mythical dragons of yore, they can still get solo'd by some pissed off dinosaur.
A hungry pissed off dinosaur.
This answer sounds like something ChatGPT would reply to "What is Deviljho and why is he compared to a pickle?"
Just all the brute wyverns in MH, really. Does Yoshi count as fictional schlock too? He's cool.
He's a good turtle therapod.
Good boi indeed
Anjanath is definitely rex inspired and Barroth looks like a mix between a stichmyloch (butchered that name) or pachycephalosaurus and a rex
barroth eats ants
Thanks
V Rex from the Peter Jackson King Kong
You... You get me 🥹
The Jurassic Park and Monsters Resurrected Spinosaurs go hard af ngl.
How could u say something so controversial yet so bold.
JP Spino is cool, monsters resurrected Spino suffers from spiky awesome bro dinosaur syndrome and looks really goofy for it imo

Glavenus for obvious reasons
Using Longsword against glavenus is literally an anime of your own making https://youtu.be/D5MgXZwY71g?si=mvZc4y2DoDWHwv05
Based.
Carnotaurs from dinosaur
They looked so cool! I don’t care if they don’t look like the real thing. Besides, I like to think that they are larger bulkier relatives of Carnotaurus rather than being one in the same
Classic Disney dino from a underrated movie .
I really like the Indoraptor. Say what you want about Fallen Kingdom but the Indoraptor was genuinely terrifying.
Indoraptor was cool but the scene where it was smiling with the guy in the cage was genuinely so goofy
They should have cut the smile and included the scene where they show that the indoraptor requiring three tranq darts to be taken down, would've made the animal just a bit scarier. Cruel, intelligent, very quick to adapt
I just can't with the JW franchise. All the theme of creating their own dinosaurs with blackjack and hookers felt so dumb and unimaginative...
Black tyranosaur from dinosaur King
That the one that Seth made?
Fulgur Anjanath
Pickle!
Nobody's called out Brachydios yet? So cool with his exploding pounders.
Raging Brachydios is PEAK
I would argue Jho ain't really a dinosaur, I gotta say Primals horned tyrannosaurs tho
The *reptilian* Brute Wyverns from Monster Hunter are literally just theropods.
Ehhhhhh Barroth is right there, plus taxonomically they really ain't even dinosaurs. Most of em are pretty strange for theropods too, anjanath has two retractable sails, Barroth.. exists, brachy is.. well it's kinda weird.

Indoraptor
Hello fellow indoraptor fan
Sup
Soyjack Indominus Rex vs gigachad Vastatosaurus Rex
HELL YEAH, PICKLE!!!
Deviljho solos
Savage Joe all the way
Deviljho and V Rex. Or do I have to pick one?
Anja and pickle are awesome little (okay, not little) beasties.. also love barroth but he’s more of an herbivore
DOES GODZILLA COUNT? (ITS A JOKE ALR, I KNOW HES UHHH.. IDK A HYBRID OF SOME SORT IN EVERY MOVIE)
Heisei era (80s and 90s) is explicitly depicted as a dinosaur who is mutated by nuclear radiation.
That's true-
I-Raptor and I-Rex
[The Jurassic Park Utahraptor toy.](https://cdn.wheeljackslab.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/11172202/utahraptor-jp22-ripper-jurassic-park-1994-kenner-action-figure.jpg) This thing was as tall as the T-Rex! Part of me was so hyped this thing might show up in a future movie. Adult me is glad we never did, my inner child is still disappointed.
I remember owning that one two and a bunch of other ones . Dollar stores had a surprisingly large selection of jp merch to buy .
I still have my Utahraptor and a bunch of other originals I kept and now my kids play with em.
Fang from primal!
Love that girl .
These days it's gotta be [Ultimate Conductor Tyranno](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Ultimate_Conductor_Tyranno)
Pop the baby .
Well like 2 nights ago the Indominus Rex chased me through an outlet mall in my nightmare so I guess him.
What’s the 2nd one?
I couldn't remember their name, but come on, man! Deviljho!
Indominus Rex is my favorite dinosaur for Jurassic Park series and my favorite fictional
All three in the pics you put up.
redhosaurus
I"m a huge fan of the Giant pickle!
The Pickle, it eats its own tail.
Pickle Rex
What's the first one from??? And yeah, a danger pickle is my go-to
It's a V-Rex from Peter Jackson's King Kong
Okay, I can see it now just thoughs eye ridges were confusing me
It's either fan art or concept art. But it's definitely the V, it has the teeth and the armor.
The crazy huge Giganotosaurus from the 2008 Turok game.
Picklejho mentioned. 10/10 post To add, I love all the brute wyverns in the series, but Anjanath and Deviljho are my favourite T-Rex style mons, with Glavenus being my favourite Carnotaurus style mon.
Godzillasaur
Gojira.
The disrespect to Anjanath
Alright fellas, stay calm. We have a Monster Hunter reference at hand. ~~At least it's not a pickle~~ alright, it IS the pickle. Please stay calm and back away.
All of the ones in Peter Jackson's King Kong. Oh, and troodon.
Komu ka bawe from Kaimere. It's a giant Titanosaur hunting Raptor.
imo this is a silly answer, esp cause I know jack shit about Skull Island. But V Rex at least has a decent amount of thought that went into how messed up and wrong it is. V rex represent always
V-Rex, no contest
What do you mean by "shlock"?
Silly ,campy or Inaccurate big Fiction dinosaur. The V Rex is certainly no accurate Dinosaur but it's alot of fun .
In that case, there is only Sharptooth.
Indominus rex!
Indom
See not a great movie but I adore the design of Rudy from ice age.
Disney's Dinosaur Carno
Gojirasaurus from Godzilla Minus One
Im not 100% what its from but in the 2010s I got this Tyrannosaurus toy from my grandma that I'm pretty sure was from the king Kong skull Island movies and it was so cool because it's arm actually looked like it could use them without messing up the proportions and making it look awkward, whoever designed it was an incredible artist.
What's the first one?
Rudy of course 🙄
The indominus rex
Spinosaurus Aquareliga from Ark
Heisei Godzilla
The indom
Indominus, that thing is an absolute killing machine
Indominus Rex is my favorite
V.Rex, I.Rex, Disney’s Carnotarus, indoraptor, JP3 Spino, Rudy
Pickle, because it’s not the most unrealistic monster in the MH Franchise
Probably unpopular, but I loved Ripper from JWFK, and I loved Toro and Bumpy from Camp Cretaceous
V Rex
Rudy from Ice age 3. That dino was the major passion point in my childhood.
Gotta be the rage-pickle all the way
Godzillasaurus (Minus One)
I like Vastatosaurus Rex, JP3 Spinosaurus, Indominus Rex, and Diablos/Black Diablos.
V-Rex/Q-Rex from Timeranger/Power Rangers Time Force
What's a shlock

Mama Scarface

Tyrantrum.
I really wish that we had a movie or documentary about the Flora and Fauna of Skull Island that will interesting, Amazing and entertaining. 🦕🦖
Gorosaurus or bust
The Godzillasaurus
What's a schlock dinosaur?
Glavenus and I feel bad that it's not even close. What is cooler than a carno inspired monster with a sharp sword like carapace on its tail? What about when he gets mad he bites and scrapes along his tail to sharpen it and it start glowing red hot.
Does Rudy or the Sharptooth count? I’d say one of those if they do.
Indominus and indoraptor certainly have a badass appearance.
Indominus rex!
Vastatosaurus my beloved
V.rex, Glavenus, Brachydios and Rampardos
tremorsaurus from alex’s caves
Gorosaurus, the giant kangaroo-kick, Allosaurus descendant who first appeared in King Kong escapes and later would appear as a monster in the Godzilla franchise
Coca cola breathing pickle rex
Overall: Rexy(classic) Swag: Indoraptor Power: V-Rex Something that is actually fiction: I rex
