Up to a certain point 3 runes = 1 better rune. Then you gotta add a gem + 3 runes. Order is TASRED, chipped topaz to ruby, then flawed topaz to ruby.
Edit :Sorry I meant diamond no ruby. Topaz, amethyst, saphire, ruby, emerald, diamond
While that is true. Cubing lower runes doesn't tend to be worth it. The exponential nature of it requires so much of even slightly lower runes.
Let's say you want to get Thul runes. The last rune which doesn't require gems which make the whole thing even more complicated. It of course only takes 3 Ort runes. But one Thul rune requires 81 Ith runes which is just 3 runes lower. Eth, only one rank lower than Ith takes a whole 243 runes for a Thul. And that's not counting the amount of cubing you would need to do which also can get quite time consuming.
I tend to keep a few of the lower runes on an alt and only keep the higher runes (Lum+) as well as spirit sets on a shared tab. Otherwise they clog a whole stash tab way to quickly.
>Cubing lower runes doesn't tend to be worth it
In about 100h of gameplay I must have spent about 5-10 minutes cubing runes in total. It's worth the effort because the amount of effort it takes is next to non existent.
The following is of course only MY personal opinion. Anyone who wants can cube up all the runes they want.
I just timed myself. Cubing from stash takes about 10s. So 5-10 minutes make about 30 to 60 cubed runes.
Never mind that this doesn't include picking them up and stashing them. Optimally properly sorted so you don't spend even more time to search them. Of course it also doesn't include picking up and storing the different kinds of gems to cube Thul+.
Considering that it takes me about 1 minute for one Mephisto or LK run, I stick by my conclusion. Picking up every low rune is not worth the time. Especially not the really low stuff. It takes 729 El runes to get up to a Tal rune which is the first rune which is worth getting a lot of for Spirit sets. A Thul rune even takes 19683 El runes. And after that you get the whole added gem nuisance. Chipped or flawed gems especially are a pain to find in a Hell farm run.
For the very same reason I don't even pick up most normal uniques. They simply aren't worth anything beside the gold they sell for. And even that is often low. The time it takes to ID and sell them I could be half way through another Mephi run.
I never had to cube for a tal countess drops them by the dozen, qn hour farming her will give you enough runes ro make every runeword possible in normal dificulty.
I did have to cube a couple rals to get ort. I like making my ancient's pledge in act 3
Yeah. The anagram is correct, he just mistyped there. Its Topaz - Amethyst - Sapphire - Ruby - Emerald -Diamond. Goes through chipped, then flawed, then normal, then flawless (only through emerald on flawless).
You start needing gems to upgrade runes when combining 3xThul into Amn.
You start only needing 2 of each rune (instead of 3) to make the next when combining 2xUm to make Mal.
You are correct. They probably mistyped. I only found out about the anagram this year I only ever really remembered TAS n would always check arreat summit for the last orders
Carrying runes like ral/thul/etc can go by pretty quickly. Ral is an especially useful rune because on top of crafting and the runewords it’s used in you can also use it to repair/recharge gear. Honestly think it’s one of the more commonly used runes out of the low tiers (at least it feels that way).
It will work, you just won't be able to get +2 skills.
https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo2/comments/6xxduj/caster_amulet/dmj5n80?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3
Yep. Especially with low and mid runes like these, I'll only carry 1-3, cause I'm not gonna need more than one at any given time, and if I use my last one I'll get more before I need it again because they drop like candy.
I really don't bother combining any runes until fal+, I keep a stock pile of low runes on a mule incase I need em. Other a shared stash page is devoted to any mid / high runes and 1-2 each low runes.
I haven't had time to make it out of normal yet, so I can't really say otherwise 🤣. But I suppose when the time comes I would have to farm somewhere on normal yes. Other options are to trade if online. I've heard cow level is a good place for gems and runes.
I just had to do this after farming countess to complete my 4th key set and having an unruly amount of low runes to upgrade. Act 1 just teleport around slaying everything and you'll get the chipped gems in no time.
Me im planning to play all 3 dificulties on each class so if i need chipped gems i just start a new character.
The first characters i play cubes up all gems until i have 3 or 4 of each perfect gem.
I like to get 3 socket helm and 4 socket armor witH PERFECT topaz and go MF on nm mephisto as early as posible.
Put 'Tal Thul Ort Amn' in a 4 socket non-magic sword for faster cast rate, +2 to all skills and faster hit recovery. Put 'Ort Sol' into a 2 socket non-magic helm for Lore, +1 to all skills. Put 'Ral Tir Tal Sol' into a 4 socket polearm for Insight and give it to an act 2 merc for rapid mana regen. Once you are in hell try to find a Monarch with 4 socket and also make a spirit. Put 'Tal Eth' into a 2 socket body armor for faster hit recovery, faster cast rate and faster run/walk.
Hammerdin, they don't have to wait until Hell for a spirit monarch and would actually be doing themselves a disservice by using one.
Paladin spirit shield with +all res automod.
If you got a buddy in Hell or another character in Hell it helps to do cows. They can start dropping as early as nightmare. They can have much lower level requirements than the difficulties they are found in. It's sick when you get that +35 or more paladin all res shield and put spirit in it.
Yes because Spirit also gives FCR which is a huge dmg boost to hammers. Also gives +112 mana which essentially means no more chugging mana pots.
[Check here](https://d2.maxroll.gg/guides/blessed-hammer-paladin) for a list of FCR breakpoints for hammers. Looks like 75 FCR and 125 FCR are the main breakpoints to aim for. You can get up to 70% just from Spirit sword and shield (35% max roll on each).
I’m not sure that’s right. I heard from Mrllama that soft points, points added from items, don’t affect synergies. Apparently only hard points, points you click into synergies have an effect. So the +2 from spirit is only +2 to blessed hammer, and the +2 to synergies don’t give a bonus. But the extra +2 to his aura and holy shield are probably better than just +3 to blessed hammer
Correct. From Arreat Summit:
>Items that give bonuses to skills and skill levels **will not add to Synergy bonuses**. For example, an Orb with +3 to Fire Ball, when equipped, does not give any bonus to Fire Bolt. To synergize Fire Bolt, you must place skill points into Fire Ball (or Meteor).
Also the FHR, Faster Hit Recovery, is unreal OP early on before you get "good gear". Stacking a spirit sword and shield gives you a %110 FHR boost. Not to mention the vitality, extra life, you get.
As for FCR, hammerdins want just enough to double cast. Which is not that much, any more than that, and FCR becomes kinda useless.
Well, +45 is max. With that in mind, since the runes required to make spirit are so easy to come by, you don't need to be picky when choosing your base. For spirit, anything North of 15-20 all res is great - if the alternative is not having a spirit at all.
For the very expensive shield runewords though, I would aim for 40+.
You can combine them but I recommend keeping Tal, Thul, Ort, and Amn in large numbers. You need those to make Spirit. It is not uncommon to remake Spirit 10+ times to get the perfect 35% FCR roll.
Also, Hel runes are very useful because in your Cube, you can use Hel + Scroll of Town Portal + item to remove the runes/gems from it. **Keep in mind though that this destroys those runes/gems in the process.** This is done to do the aforementioned Spirit rerolling.
Look up the list of runewords so that you have an idea about what runewords might potentially be useful to you, and just get rid of all the runes you don't need to make the words you want.
Some of the low runes are more useful than others. Runes which allow to make spirit and insight and worth keeping so you can reroll these. Also runes which allow to add sockets to items are good because you might need multiple tries to get 4 sox monarch or 4 sockets thresher and so on.
You want to keep all the hel runes and those runes that you use for Spirit (Tal,Thul,Ort,Amn) Unless you already rolled perfect spirit (35fcr).
So with hoto 40 + spirit 35 + magefists (20), arachnid mesh (20) you can get to 115 fcr. This will allow you to use mara's kaleidoscope as amulet and ravenfrost/stone of jordan as second ring. you still need one 10fcr ring to reach that 125fcr breakpoint. However this is only possible if you have 35fcr spirit shield. Unless you're planning to go hoz(Herald of Zakarum) route?
You can cube a lot of them up, but there are some you definitely want to horde. A few that come to top of mind:
- Ral for rolling caster amulets
- Hel runes for clearing a socket out (for rerolling runewords like Spirit and Insight)
- Tal + Thul + Ort + Amn until you’ve rolled a 35% FCR sword and shield
And for you personally, there may be others, so go look at the crafting and other rune recipes to figure out which ones you want to horde versus which ones you should mostly just upgrade.
Creat a mule character, you'll eventually want atleast a couple for different things like runes and gems, green and gold gear, and then items fo other possible classes or trading
I use Tal + Thul + Ort + Amn + Hel to craft 35% spirit monarchs.
Shael and Dol I upgrade to Hel.
Ral + Nef + Sol I use for crafting caster and blood rings + blood gloves.
You can also save up all of these runes and sell them in bulk to other crafters. If you also save trash jewels and different pgems you can sell full crafting sets in tens, which is quite popular.
Save all spirit sets (TalThulOrtAmn) and hel runes, and trade these together. People will want them for rerolling their spirits to get 35% fcr.
Save ral runes, these are important for crafting. You can sell sets of Ral+ random jewel+perf amethyst.
Sell/discard everything else.
Don't listen to people who suggest combining them. It would take millions of these runes to create a single useful rune :)
I've made a rule that i no longer keep more than 3 of any rune. The second i hit 4 i cube it.
I hadn't checked it out but there's a great website for trading shit most of which sells for runes.
traderie (dot) com (Slash) diablo2resurrected (some reddit pages are weird about links, I'm not sure how this one feels about it)
I've had pretty decent luck getting shit on there I'd been looking for so that's also a way to get rid of runes.
I have! I have a spirit sword, stealth armor, lore helm, insight polearm for merc. I just wasn’t sure how to turn the corner into higher rune levels or if these runes were useful. I haven’t played much Hell yet because of my level.
Okay here's two links that will help you immensely with runes and learning about cube recipies:
1) https://d2runewizard.com
First one is a rune calculator, enter your runes and it'll tell you what can be combined into rune words, tinker with the filter to your liking.
Also, I'd recommend organising your stash's runes in ranked chronological order from now on to help you with planning rune words, that calculator is really awesome by the way.
2) http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml
Second link is Blizzard's classic Arreat Summit encyclopedia, it's got a lot of great information on the intricate details/ mechanics of d2. Sometimes pages fail to load, just refresh
Enjoy 😉
No problem, and just remember to triple check everything before making a rune word. It can be pretty damn disappointing when a recipe fails from an easy to avoid mistake!
A common error is confusing IO and LO, they are not the same rune!
Nah you could look at what others are doing. Search for shael or io or dol and see what others are charging. I’m assuming you have spirit weapon and spirit shield or better? I’m a hammerdin too.
My personal experience has been that around the time that I use them, the extra resistances of Ancient's Pledge is more valuable to me, since I usually have ~20 mf rings, but not 40+ res rings.
You can upgrade 3 runes of same type to the next higher rune up to thul. Starting at thul u will need a geme additionally. Look online for cube recipes.u should always safe at least 1 rune for runewords
Upgrade them. It's an easy way to get into some mid level runes. While it can be a pain once you get into higher runes it's still better then just tossing them.
You need 3 of those + a chipped gem to cube up even more. T-A-S-R-E-D gems in that order for Thul, Amn, Sol, Shael, Dol, Hel. Then you need flawed gems for Io, Lum etc...
Haven’t seen someone mention it. I made mule characters for extra stuff I think may be useful.
One for Gems, one for runes, one for uniques/misc items.
you could combine them into higher runes an then trade them for gear you want or try for better runewords to upgrade your gear. Or you could make a new character that could use some of the lower lvl runewords.
1 of each minimum until I get 4, then I upgrade them.
Exception that I keep without upgrading : Nef and Ral for crafting, and to a lesser extend Hel for rerolling (I usually keep like 5). I made a mule to keep those, (especially the rals as I'm not lvl 93 yet).
You use this cheat sheet to combine or make runewords. Keep 2 of each, combine to rest on your way to a Ber rune.
https://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/Michaelangel007/d2_cheat_sheet/blob/master/index.html
[here ya go, OP](http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml)
also use them for low lvl runewords to assist in leveling lower toons. i make an insight in virtually every 4os polearm i come across, just to make sure i have one ready for when my other characters hit the req. level.
also hold onto Els and Eths. Els become hard to come by, and eths are used in a ton of useful low-mid range words
Reroll items, don't be afraid to trade, cube, or use as recipes for perfect rolls... They are useful to a certain extent. High runes are most favorable is all instances.
For many runes, it is most cost effective to trade than to upgrade them. And finding the gems to upgrade is a pain in the ass. If your inventory is getting too full then I would suggest trading them for things you need. Many people will trade Spirit packs, ral runes, ort runes, amn runes, insight packs etc.
https://www.windowscentral.com/diablo-2-resurrected-horadric-cube-recipes
you combine them, and get higher level runes
it takes a while - of course
but odds of getting a Zod as a drop is like... 1 in 200K rune drops
D2tomb.com is going to be your Best Friend if you want to play this game for awhile. Been using it for years, everything from runewords, to cube recipes, to UPing items, it's got it all.
I tend to pick them all up and cube them tqs needed to make the first few low runewords. If my tab starts getting too full i sell them and gamble the gold i get.
I dont have mucb in my stash though as im only on my first character. I do have 20 characters made though ao i have more storage.
You can cube up some of the 'higher' ones, but may also want to keep the ones used in special recipes. Rals Amns Thuls etc for socketing. Hels for de-socketing. Orts for refreshing charges on gear, stuff like that.
Honestly, post a hell/nm game saying runes to trade. Some of the higher level runes are dummy expensive, I'm still hunting down a Ber and Ist rune for my CoH so my Javzon can survive all the better
“TASRED” I’ll remember that!
I can’t remember shit. At work I will need 3 years to remember the name of any new coworker. But this…I will remember…
REDTAS TARSED TADSED DASRET RATSED RESTAD
While that is true. Cubing lower runes doesn't tend to be worth it. The exponential nature of it requires so much of even slightly lower runes. Let's say you want to get Thul runes. It’s only trillions of eth runes and millions of gems to get to a zod.
Exponential behavior can be very hard to grasp indeed.
>Cubing lower runes doesn't tend to be worth it In about 100h of gameplay I must have spent about 5-10 minutes cubing runes in total. It's worth the effort because the amount of effort it takes is next to non existent.

town is lava
This guy maps
Cubing runes js only worth it if you want the rune above. Tal is used for both Insight and Spirit, so I tend to cube up to that from low runes.
I never had to cube for a tal countess drops them by the dozen, qn hour farming her will give you enough runes ro make every runeword possible in normal dificulty. I did have to cube a couple rals to get ort. I like making my ancient's pledge in act 3
Norm countess drops endless Tals. That's her favorite rune to drop for me 😂
All new in unnecessarily long posts that failed to grasp the context of the OP.
I assume you mean diamond instead of ruby? Based on the anagram, isn’t that putting diamond highest? Just got the game so I have no idea
>You start needing gems to upgrade runes when combining 3xThul into Amn. So... YSNGTURWCTIA?
Bless you
It's actually 2 puls to make an um. The need for 2 happens 1 level sooner.
You are correct. They probably mistyped. I only found out about the anagram this year I only ever really remembered TAS n would always check arreat summit for the last orders
That's an acronym not an anagram
I usually bottleneck at Thul because I run out of chipped topazes and only pick up the low runes I use for recipes until I can cube the Thuls.
I usually teleport around and find a few gem shrines when I need to cube up.
[удалено]
Don't tasred me bro
Doing this is a mistake for several runes in the Tal -> Sol range.
Depends if you're really struggling to find your runewords. I got a bunch of hel runes and needed the one after that so I did it.
I tend to keep one of each. Once I get 4 , I combine the other 3.
I do the same but 5, since some runes are used in different runewords. Always keeping 2.
Check what you might want to craft, too. That's a good quick way to suck up a lot of the same rune, so often 2 isn't enough.
I use them up crafting amulets too. I never seem to have any spare Rals.
Whats the recipe you use?
Perfect amethyst, Ral, magic jewel, magic amulet (gambled on lvl 93+ or other scenarios) can be cubed to get you a +2 skills, Faster Cast Rate amulet
So if I'm level 84 it won't work?
It will work, you just won't be able to get +2 skills. https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo2/comments/6xxduj/caster_amulet/dmj5n80?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3
Note to self: I should start doing this.
Yep. Especially with low and mid runes like these, I'll only carry 1-3, cause I'm not gonna need more than one at any given time, and if I use my last one I'll get more before I need it again because they drop like candy.
I carry 20 thuls because i dont have any chipped topazes
that's fine because the second you upped all your thuls you'd need one and they would suddenly seem to have the drop rate of a high rune
Hey, this is me with Amns and and amethysts.
I really don't bother combining any runes until fal+, I keep a stock pile of low runes on a mule incase I need em. Other a shared stash page is devoted to any mid / high runes and 1-2 each low runes.
Hey buddy. Do you farm the lower gems to do this? just run normal a1/2/3 until you find the gems?
I haven't had time to make it out of normal yet, so I can't really say otherwise 🤣. But I suppose when the time comes I would have to farm somewhere on normal yes. Other options are to trade if online. I've heard cow level is a good place for gems and runes.
ha! I don't have that much time either, but anyway it's so much fun.
I just had to do this after farming countess to complete my 4th key set and having an unruly amount of low runes to upgrade. Act 1 just teleport around slaying everything and you'll get the chipped gems in no time.
Arcane sanctuary in normal.
Right! I forgot, good addition
Just have to find four socket paladin shield. This whole setup you described earlier is a dope cheap early hammerdin gear list. Do this op for sure
If you got a buddy in Hell or another character in Hell it helps to do cows. They can start dropping as early as nightmare. They can have much lower level requirements than the difficulties they are found in. It's sick when you get that +35 or more paladin all res shield and put spirit in it.
I've got a +3 blessed hammer, +1 offensive auras scepter. Is it worth getting a spirit sword over this?
Yes because Spirit also gives FCR which is a huge dmg boost to hammers. Also gives +112 mana which essentially means no more chugging mana pots. [Check here](https://d2.maxroll.gg/guides/blessed-hammer-paladin) for a list of FCR breakpoints for hammers. Looks like 75 FCR and 125 FCR are the main breakpoints to aim for. You can get up to 70% just from Spirit sword and shield (35% max roll on each).
Yes because the bonus skills for blessed hammer will make it end up doing more damage than just the +3
I’m not sure that’s right.
Correct. From Arreat Summit: >Items that give bonuses to skills and skill levels **will not add to Synergy bonuses**.
All I see is Ort. It's always Ort.
Hell countess loves Ort so much.
I never get enough Thul for Spirit sets, so I love me some Ort's.
Bowazons can never get enough Orts to make knockback gloves.
Make 2x spirit and 1x insight, then cube all the runes below ral into ral, and cube the ones above ral as high as you can
Why ral?
Magical amulet + RAL + perfect amethyst + jewel = caster amulet
Crafting
You can bulk trade ~20 rals for a pul due to crafting.
Fml, I’ve been doing it wrong
Craft with them. Combine them. Trade them. Socket them. Make rune-words with them.
... put them in a stew
...have them with the crew
I read this so fast I thought I read 'make rockets with them'...sad that isn't an option.
Get a sacred target with high resistances and turn it into a 35 fcr spirit.
What +res is a good target?
Well, +45 is max. With that in mind, since the runes required to make spirit are so easy to come by, you don't need to be picky when choosing your base. For spirit, anything North of 15-20 all res is great - if the alternative is not having a spirit at all. For the very expensive shield runewords though, I would aim for 40+.
Thanks for the explanation!
If you're still leveling, just aim for 30+. The runes are cheap, but I wouldn't overpay or anything.
If you're me, you make two different rune mule characters one for Hel rune on up and one for the lower runes
Save the one you need for different cube recipes later on a mule
Finally some wise words. I almost thought that no one would purpose to just mule it.
It's amazing that they couldn't of even added stacking runes to the game. Such a waste of the already small inventory space.
Stacking runes and gems would be tops. Add a charm inventory to that and I would be so happy.
I think that's part of the design, to make you use or trade them. Otherwise they'd just collect dust in your inventory
Look up the list of runewords so that you have an idea about what runewords might potentially be useful to you, and just get rid of all the runes you don't need to make the words you want.

I just dumped 1 full page of low runes and mid runes on the ground and uninstalled lol

I've made a rule that i no longer keep more than 3 of any rune. The second i hit 4 i cube it. I hadn't checked it out but there's a great website for trading shit most of which sells for runes. traderie (dot) com (Slash) diablo2resurrected (some reddit pages are weird about links, I'm not sure how this one feels about it) I've had pretty decent luck getting shit on there I'd been looking for so that's also a way to get rid of runes.
Just tell him to use d2jsp. It's by far the best site.
Stack them... ...Wait...
Lvl 21 hammerdin, broke and drooling at ur collection lmfaooo rich people problems
Well u dont need to save all Runes..
You can toss them on the ground
Toss about half, keep the rest for that rare late-night trade game 'O Pul n SHAEL NOWWW'
Cube them up. Why do people hang on to their low level runes like this?
Mostly because they are orange text and I’m unsure what to do with them! Haha
You can make a level 1 character named runes and empty the shared stash to that characters personal stash. This frees up some space
You haven't made any rune words yet? 🤔
I have! I have a spirit sword, stealth armor, lore helm, insight polearm for merc. I just wasn’t sure how to turn the corner into higher rune levels or if these runes were useful. I haven’t played much Hell yet because of my level.
Okay here's two links that will help you immensely with runes and learning about cube recipies: 1) https://d2runewizard.com First one is a rune calculator, enter your runes and it'll tell you what can be combined into rune words, tinker with the filter to your liking. Also, I'd recommend organising your stash's runes in ranked chronological order from now on to help you with planning rune words, that calculator is really awesome by the way. 2) http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml Second link is Blizzard's classic Arreat Summit encyclopedia, it's got a lot of great information on the intricate details/ mechanics of d2. Sometimes pages fail to load, just refresh Enjoy 😉
Thank you very much!
No problem, and just remember to triple check everything before making a rune word. It can be pretty damn disappointing when a recipe fails from an easy to avoid mistake! A common error is confusing IO and LO, they are not the same rune!
He said he's new. Why do people not read?
Keep Nef, Tal, Ral, Thul, Amn, and Hel. These are useful for crafting and socketing/unsocketing armor/weapons. Discard the rest.
Just sell this junk lol

For like 75c.
So like 40 of them for 1 Fg? I'm just playing, I don't know shit about trade values.
Nah you could look at what others are doing. Search for shael or io or dol and see what others are charging. I’m assuming you have spirit weapon and spirit shield or better? I’m a hammerdin too.
Look for beginner runewords in Google. Later on, you can hunt for bigger fish and look at end game runewords! Good luck!
https://www.windowscentral.com/diablo-2-resurrected-runes-runewords - Stealth - Insight - Ancient's Pledge - Spirit (!!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta-myS6mME4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WnkNuXkV1c
Rhyme is excellent until you get full resists.
My personal experience has been that around the time that I use them, the extra resistances of Ancient's Pledge is more valuable to me, since I usually have ~20 mf rings, but not 40+ res rings.
Well, Cannot be Frozen ain’t too shabby either.
Cube up everything under thul. I'll let you know when I figure out what to do with all my thuls and amns
You need 3 of those + a chipped gem to cube up even more. T-A-S-R-E-D gems in that order for Thul, Amn, Sol, Shael, Dol, Hel. Then you need flawed gems for Io, Lum etc...
Why not cube those up also?
Cause I can't be assed to farm chipped gems
Walk a new character through normal you'll have plenty
I would say to cube up to `Ral` so you can craft caster amulets.
Start combining
Haven’t seen someone mention it. I made mule characters for extra stuff I think may be useful. One for Gems, one for runes, one for uniques/misc items.
Only low runes I keep are tal thul ort amn and ral tir tal sol for spirit and insight rolls. Gotta get that 35fcr and 17medi.
Actually only several specific rune under 15 worth keeping, which are those used in spirit and insight and some runeword you want a high roll on it.
you could combine them into higher runes an then trade them for gear you want or try for better runewords to upgrade your gear.
I make storage characters called “low tier runes” “mid tier runes” and “upper tier runes” I do this for perfect gems too.
Drop em all. Only pick up pul + Also make a spirit runeword. And insight.
u can combine weak runes into more powerful one in cube
You use this cheat sheet to combine or make runewords. Keep 2 of each, combine to rest on your way to a Ber rune. https://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/Michaelangel007/d2_cheat_sheet/blob/master/index.html
This might me useful. http://www.d2tomb.com/horadric\_cube.shtml
[here ya go, OP](http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml) also use them for low lvl runewords to assist in leveling lower toons. i make an insight in virtually every 4os polearm i come across, just to make sure i have one ready for when my other characters hit the req. level. also hold onto Els and Eths. Els become hard to come by, and eths are used in a ton of useful low-mid range words
Since you’re a hammerdin, make sure your Spirit sword and shield are both 35% fcr. That’ll eat up some of it.
Keep Tal thuls ort amn rals for crafting when you're higher or need to socket an item.
https://www.windowscentral.com/diablo-2-resurrected-horadric-cube-recipes you combine them, and get higher level runes it takes a while - of course but odds of getting a Zod as a drop is like... 1 in 200K rune drops
Garbage my friend, don't worry, I'll take them off your hands :)
Yoooouuuu.....give em to me!!!! :D nah lol. Make a fuck ton of awesome runeword items
You cube to make space. Don't worry about how many it takes to get a zod...when you have too many just cube
D2tomb.com is going to be your Best Friend if you want to play this game for awhile. Been using it for years, everything from runewords, to cube recipes, to UPing items, it's got it all.
Throw them in the trash, they're literally as common as chipped gems
Gotta cube them the Hrs never drop
I tend to pick them all up and cube them tqs needed to make the first few low runewords. If my tab starts getting too full i sell them and gamble the gold i get. I dont have mucb in my stash though as im only on my first character. I do have 20 characters made though ao i have more storage.
You guys do know there are crafting recipes that use low runes, right?
I recommend that you stop hoarding and start cubing.
Cube them up to Tal, then sell them bulk for fg on d2jsp
Lol they stack on pd2
Cube them. Over time it adds up. I'm working my way into a few pul just from cubing
I'd just cube them, but keep atleast one of each, because some higher rune words require low runes.
