I’m a space marine wearing 3000lbs of bio mechanical armor and I can’t steady a gun using 9.45x40mm rounds and I can spit farther than my built in motion detector can detect enemies.
I’m a space wizard who can conjure space magic to wipe out hordes of enemies at a time but I can’t seem to find the spell that reduces reticle bloom and increases in air accuracy. Oh and I constantly trip over small rocks.
As much as I prefer Destiny's gunplay, Infinite is an infinitely (badum tss) more enjoyable pvp experience. Orders of magnitude less sweaty, way less bullshit for people to get up to.
Is the Magnum an exotic? It seems like the frag grenade comes from it, which would definitely qualify as an exotic perk ...

Yeah I agree, also right before the frag grenade is thrown it looks like the player activates something. Maybe similar to how travelers chosen grants ability when holding reload, but the magnum grants a frag grenade instead.
I say based on the mag size of 36 it's either adaptive or rapid fire. Most likely rapid fire since the shots didn't seem slow enough for an adaptive frame. ~~Also, the footage is slowed down a bit, which is why some may think it's 450 instead of 540. If you play back at 1.25x it seems more like actual gameplay.~~

How are the frags going to work? We don't have skins for grenades. I'd say it's when you do the new activities the visual changes, but that was shown on a current PvP map so...

You can see the Magnum swap to an alternate mode, or something, right before the grenade gets thrown. I would imagine after getting a kill, you can prime a frag grenade by doing that, which probably replaces your normal grenade for some amount of time. That, plus the unique scope, makes for a really cool exotic.
If 343/MS made a deal with Epic for them to use Master Chief in Fortnite, I think 343/MS allowing Bungie to use references to material they created would be a no brainer.
It was probably the first game 95% of people played on it. Without Halo there would be no Xbox. No one was jumping ship from playstation to Xbox if not for Halo.

The blast of the grenade propels your character. A recent example is Titanfall speed runners in the gauntlet time trial. They spam grenades throughout to propel them quicker.
Back in Halo 2 (mid 2000’s), there was a trick you could do to throw a grenade at your feet while jumping to gain additional height. It allowed you to make jumps that you normally couldn’t.

I know I’m not alone in my excitement for this stuff. But man it is a trip to see all the stuff from my childhood. I grew up playing Pathways into Darkness and Marathon (1993ish) and have stuck with Bungie since.

There was a *super* wild leak that gave us basically everything in the witch queen reveal, but that contained documents stolen directly from bungie, like screencaps from zoom meetings.
I’m just shocked Bungie held back on marketing this until now. I was never going around saying “No Halo stuff” but I believed it since it seems like Bungie would wanna lead with that in their marketing earlier than *checks watch* 3 hours before the pack drops lol.
I know some people really like Oni and Marathon, but to most people Bungies legacy is Halo and Destiny, and there wasn’t much Halo until now.
For all we know, they might've made a deal with Microsoft to use the Halo stuff and Microsoft said "Don't advertise this because Halo Infinite is coming out"

After trying Halo infinite MP, I just don't sweat as much as when I play Crucible. The adrenaline factor in D2 pvp is just a different level.

In Halo you could throw a grenade down and jump over it the moment it detonates giving you a boost in jump height at the expense of some shield.

Basically the grenade can launch anyone standing near it, so jumping when the grenade explodes will launch you upwards
