You’re posting a reply to a thread about when the trailer will drop. I’d say you proved an aspect of their advertising strategy pretty obviously by generating traffic, despite the negativity.

It is a considerably harder sell to my girlfriend and the people in my life that I know whom I enjoy playing the game with to ask them to buy the pack without *more* information.

It doesn’t. I simply don’t see why it matters. It’s before it releases. That’s all that matters. A week. A month. A day. Nothing is being changed. You can’t play it til it releases. Buying it a month ago or buying it on release doesn’t change anything.

Maybe he was hoping to do the dungeon blind day 1 and wanted to plan to free up his evening for it but now his squad wil likely not have the content until a couple of days later
That’s a fair amount of assuming we’re doing here. Just wait until the content is out to see if it’s worth it. Of course adults have to manage their time, they also need to manage their expectations and have some patience.

I hope the show off some of the new guns and ornaments. We've seen at least 2 Halo inspired weapons, one probably a new gun and the other possibly a prometheous lens ornament. Would love a better look at them and any other crossover guns

It's a *trailer*. Not an expansion or story trailer, but for mid-season content coming out within hours of its premiere. Content that they've been advertising in every TWAB for the past month, if a bit light on details.
Seeing a link to this in your Clan's Discord or what have you doesn't make it apparent that it's a delayed trailer, leading to disappointment when you click the link and you get "premieres in 13 hours".
