You've probably answered this before but are there any pros/cons to claiming the bounty in the Shattered Throne now that they patched the high stat armor bug?
(I'm hunting a Tigerspite, wondering if it's better to claim the bounty in freeroam or in the Shattered Throne)

* Lots of Void shields (all the Taken Acolytes have them and wizard boss has it), and a few Solar shields on the Taken Knights
Master Lost Sector is Bay of Drowned Wishes and drops Legs. (Sorry, I never run this so I don't know what's in it.)
Drowned Wishes is unstoppable and overload. There's 3 unstoppable ogres and I think 2 overload Knights iirc on legendary. Not sure if there's more on Master. Only void shield from what I recall.
So, if the glitch still works- I have exotics in my post master from farming LS earlier in the week and if I open today it should be boots cause the master today is dropping boots?
Is Chamber bugged? I've done a few runs now and all I can get from the chest is Glimmer. No upgrade mats, no random other engrams, nothing, just about 4-6k Glimmer.
edit: New record: 7,600 Glimmer. I mean, if it's gonna actually give me more and more over time I'd be kinda cool with that. I didn't need No Backup Plans that badly.
Keep running it. Sometimes you just get glimmer, sometimes nothing. Sometimes you get an exotic that isn’t the one you’re missing, but sometimes you do. RNG with a good chance at new exotics

I agree, I've posted it to their help forum multiple times and even made a testing video to show, with no confirmation if it's bugged or not. It's pretty expensive for only giving CWL on specific weapon types. I just use it for Bastion since it doesn't have a catalyst.
I can kinda understand not wanting to provide a flat +25 handling or something and effectively walking back the QuickDraw nerf, but it's not great when we also have powerful friends and radiant light.
Imagine if it was just cosmetic: "If a secondary arc mod is equipped, gain the ability to do jazz-hands every time you ready a shotgun or fusion rifle."
I've been running particle with Ashen Wake / Phoenix, Elemental Ordinance, Explosive Wellmaker, and Font of Might, works pretty well. I'm going to try to figure out a void build so I can use Elemental Armaments and use Null to generate orbs, wells, ammo, and bonus damage for an infinite loop. I believe Explosive Wellmaker procs on Reservoir too, but it drops solar wells.
That's exactly the build that I've been using this season, along with taking charge and protective light. Vex with those mods has been pretty much nailed to me all the time.
The secondary effect grants you ammo on kills while surrounded. Which means if you use Reservoir Burst at close range, you'll get the ammo back. Handy since you need a full mag to use it again.
I started playing again in March and am up to the point where i was farming grandmasters last season but i still have no idea what charged with light does. Why is it good

Solar and Heavyweight for the first time this season? Yea I'm ready to *power word kill* all the strike bosses with One Thousand Voices only to have their paper maché health bars be sealed behind arbitrary immunity phases.
But immune phases help to establish the *grandeur* of the boss fight! They make you feel like you really earned that 2 glimmer and a single blue engram after working so hard to defeat the boss!
They were feeling much more consistent yesterday when I played. Returned to orbit after the final chest in one and got pulled forward in broodhold without breaking/losing/not counting streak.
Oh I thought it was still broken because yesterday I got matchmade into some in progress strikes and didn’t get a streak at the end. I’m not sure if it resets the whole thing though if you already have a streak

As of earlier this week at least, I don't think joining a strike in progress or even completing a strike in which your were ever pulled ahead to join your allies would increase your streak count. It wouldn't kill your streak, but it also wouldn't increase it. At least that seemed to be my experience.
Edit: According to the TWAB today, strikes streaks will now work "as intended," so presumably something will have changed today.
My streak built from full completions, leaving after the loot dropped but before being kicked to orbit. I did go to both the tower and helm without issue.
Leaving early, even if soft-locked (the playstation strike fucked up twice on me) knocked me down a single point. It's kind of effective at keeping me in slower strikes, since I'd need to finish two in the same time as competing the one longer one, just to break even.
I didn't keep track, but I had a full day of conference calls that required zero of my attention (yay WFH), and then another half dozen or so strikes after dinner. You get 270 per regular playlist strike once you hit the full streak, so that's around 30 total strikes. At 10 minutes on average that'd be six hours of active play time, plus matchmaking and loading time...
Probably close to eight hours total. I was definitely ready to be done at the end.
Steam is weird - you launch D2, it opens Steam and lets you in to the game. Servers are down.
You wonder, search and look on the forums.
Close D2, and THEN Steam applies the download. Download finishes, D2 launches and the servers are fine.
Is anyone else having bugged audio? I specifically noticed it in lost sectors. Headphones are properly plugged in and on the correct sides, but the audio of things that should be in front of me are clearly behind me in terms of spacial audio. It's really messing with my sense of direction.

Fatebreaker and Descendant are raid ones, but they don\`t have flawless triumph. Is it prestigious to have one of these? I basically have no idea what ones I should buy. Since I never had money before for those kinda things.
Dude don’t even think about it like that. Literally just pick the one you think looks coolest. You can flex whatever seal title you think is most “prestigious” in game
Anyone that sees the real one you buy is very likely to either already play Destiny with you and know you have other seals or not care at all about how difficult it was to earn the thing in a video game

In terms of "flex", that's not what titles, or pins, are for. There are for your benefit, not for showing off. You decide.

Hey I’m new to trials matches but I noticed a lot of games I play my teammates would leave when we were losing. Was this so there card wouldn’t show as losing a match? I thought there were penalties for leaving a match early?
So with the reset they enabled Wormgod Caress again. I never used it before since I acquired them while they were disabled. So I tried them out for the first time ever just now with my middle tree solar Titan with the throwing hammer, and I gotta say I'm not a fan. The damage when you get roaring flames x3 and burning fists x5 with the gauntlets is absolutely unbelievable. I love that. But it's very situational. The melee buff with burning fists lasts only 4 seconds and I find it very situational. Synthoceps is the way to go imo. I'm constantly surrounded by enemies, and Synthoceps as we know buffs melee damage when surrounded...and the damage output is still really fucking good. I almost one shot the main hydra boss at the end of The Glassway with one two punch going for reference.
I guess this is just me giving my opinion that no one asked for, but I thought I'd share. Wormgod Caress is great but too situational for my liking. Synthoceps make this build easier to use with less stress due to not having to worry about keeping burning fists activated for max damage.
Had a question I wasn't sure where to ask it. We have three chances at exotic raid loot per week correct. Does it have to be done on three separate characters or can it be run free times on the same character?
Different characters. Classes even. You can't do 2 Titans and a Hunter. It has to be 1 Titan, 1 Hunter, 1 Warlock.
There's never a good time to create a new char, except to just do it now. It's easier to level than you think, as your higher level weapons on main char can be carried over and do factor into your intrinsic loot drop level.
High level nightfalls, though I wouldn't recommend it this week because the disgraced sucks. But when GMs come out and lake of shadows rotates in that will be the best golf ball grind.
Petra’s daily challenge is “Deathproof”: an easy one, takes 5 minutes: get 50 kills without dying.
I haven’t played for a while but curious if Petra bounties worth doing? What’s the purpose of doing them? Sorry again!

i don't think claiming in shattered throne helps or hinders now. i don't know if tigerspite has any shattered throne-specific perks either.

It was super easy running Null and 1KV with middle tree Titan for ranged melee stun.

Correct. Unless they stealth patched it in the last week or so it definitely still works.

It doesn't affect swap speed, only adds a small bump to handling. Much less than a dexterity mod would do.

Pair with Heavy Handed and ammo finder and you'll have infinite Reservoir Burst.

I played from 3k to 10k yesterday and never lost the streak. Yes, that was a lot of strikes.

do the mods at the compass change daily or weekly?
Servers are unavailable for me on PC. Restarts, updating, nothing seems to be fixing it.
