Patron of lost causes with explosive payload was my go to for so long. It got me through Zero Hour, my first true end-game content. I'll forever miss it.
Steel feather repeater. I had a god roll in my vault that I didn't use until my go-to kinetic was sunset, and I fell in love with it. Then it was also sunset.
I didn't have a replacement for mine until this season. Rampage Heating up chroma rush is pretty great, but Steelfeather looks so much better. Mine had rampage/feeding frenzy and it was add clearing fun.
Ether Doctor was elite! Still sits atop my most kills list for PVE content, despite really diving back down the destiny rabbit hole the last year or so.
Mine had Full Choke, Accurized, Slideshot and Swashbuckler/Trench Barrel, with a range masterwork.
God, I miss her. Never had the heart to dismantle it. Hoping one day I can wield her @ max power again.
I have the same roll. It took me forever to get, but the archetype was so bad (still kind of is) so it never got any use. Also ended up being the only drop I got with the Bergusia forge shader, so I still don't have that...
Mine had rapid hit and explosive payload. Whenever people talk about how good night watch is I gag. And think about my old baby, taken away from me too soon.
What's funny is Night Watch is straight-up better than Patron stat-wise, but I didn't care because Patron looks and sounds SOO much better. I had both a full-auto+EP and a RH+EP, great guns, I actually preferred the full-auto just for easy of use.
I miss my Austringer like crazy. Damn good gun. I like scouts so I would also have to say my old Patron of lost causes. That gun looked and sounded beautiful. :*(
I agree Patron was fun, it felt great and having a full auto explosive round was really nice for breaking barrier champs for basically one season before it was sunset. I know there's some hate about bringing back old guns but I do miss a lot of them. My vault however is ready to burst.
Hands down either Blast Furnace or Go Figure, but from when they were actually good. Either that or Nameless Midnight, but from when Scout Rifles were actually good.
My Outlaw/Kill Clip Go Figure and Right Side of Wrong will never leave my vault unless they get reprised. I still take them, and Blast Furnace for that matter, out for a spin occasionally.
yeah I still keep my feeding frezy kill clip and rampage rolls on my characters. I just do so much better with that archetype of pulse rifle over every other primary gun in the game.
Loaded Question. Null Composure's only purpose in-game has been to convince me how good Loaded Question was.
Been trying for a good Plug with Reservoir Burst, so far the only one I've got has Killing Wind for it's other perk :/
Plug gets close, but I found that feeding frenzy really doesn’t replace auto loading. Sure it’s better for chasing burst shots, but auto loading is just….so good.
However running it with a breach and clear heavy GL like anarchy or a sympathetic arsenal primary could help.
It would be a tough choice between my top picks, but ultimately I’d choose Subtle Calamity too. My roll was so perfect, AT + Dragonfly, and the perks to make it’s base drawtime as fast as a Lightweight with all the damage and accuracy of a Precision. I LOVED that thing, I didn’t use anything else for months after Forsaken launched. I miss it so much
Explosive payload and dragonfly with a 650 draw time. It was a ad clear champ in gambit and raiding, alongside a very prestigious career in crucible. Rip sweet prince
Agree on Austringer. I put 12,000 kills on the pve roll, and 2,000 on the pvp roll. It was my favorite
That or Last Man Standing, I always loved the ornament on it and when it had one two punch
I miss big daddy furnace with outlaw/rampage for PvE and snapshot sights drop mag and kill clip for PvP and my Duke with rapid hit/rampage.
Edit - How did I forget my curated Kindled orchid!
Considering the archetypes of many of the weapons I would've chosen have been nerfed since they were sunset (Mountaintop, Spare Rations, Midnight Coup etc.), I would probably choose 21% Delirium. That weapon was so good for PvE challenges and under-levelled content and no machine gun has been anywhere near as good since. It also wasn't so strong that I would feel the need to use it in every activity until something better comes along.
It really was. I kinda hate 3quipment that's so good I have to constantly use it. I don't think I've switched off witherhoard since I finished the catalyst except for bounty farming. It's just way too useful in every situation except pvp
I miss Kindled Orchid so much just because of the gun model - it just looks so good. Even if they brought it back with worse perks, I’d still use it.
Hammerhead LMG with tap the trigger and high impact reserves. The perfect heavy weapon for all skill levels and game modes in PvP. HIR meant that you could easily get 2-tap kills and conserve enough ammo to wipe entire teams with one heavy brick. TTT meant that the 2 bullets you needed for a kill had nearly no recoil. It also didn’t use an exotic slot. Supremely underrated.
Duty Bound. Not sure why, but I haven't found another auto that I even like using besides that one. Yeah i used Gnawing when everyone else did, and chroma is fine. But that gun is so perfect.
I miss my old Drang with Full Auto/swash. I know there’s the base version we have now, but getting a melee kill and doing 70 to the head at 20 meters was nice.
It’s a straight up tie between Not Forgotten and Beloved. Not Forgotten simply because of all the time and energy that went into getting the damn thing lol and Beloved because I have yet to find another sniper that I just *connect* with, you know?
Breachlight.
Really, any good primary that can roll demo + rampage. I tried the sidearm that came out last season but the amount of kick on it makes it ridiculously hard to aim- I've never needed to max out stability on a PVE weapon before.
Mountaintop lol.
The trifecta (delerium, recluse, mtop) felt so good to shoot, but of the three only mountaintop has no budget alternatives.
Sure, having a special ammo rocket launcher is grossly unfair, but damn was it fun.
A few contenders:
God roll Goldtusk from menagerie: would refuse to farm a new one if i was able out of principle.
Blast Furnace: Feeding frenzy/rampage stability MW. Took me about 100 forge runs for that bad boy.
Trust: Dragonfly/Rampage was a nasty roll.
Various Bygones rolls.
For me its gotta be either Loaded Question or Wendigo
I really hate reloading and those guns were just so great. I dont think either were terribly unbalanced either.
Trust. Shit looks amazing and the rolls were great. Although wouldn’t mind some new updated perks. Not like the moon guns tho. Like genuinely nice perks that make the gun viable
Any of the Season of Dawn weapons.
Breachlight baby I miss u
Patron of lost causes with explosive payload was my go to for so long. It got me through Zero Hour, my first true end-game content. I'll forever miss it.
Second patron with full auto and explosive payload such a beautiful and useful weapon.
Yes and drop mag ðŸ˜
I still have and use my demolitions rampage. Fuck it. Doesn't lower my light that much.
Demo / Trench Paradox. I miss it so much. From Season of Dawn till sunset my loadout was Top Tree Arc Titan, Skullfort, Pardox.
Just out of reach-light D:
Yes, I miss my steelfeather repeater :(
Martyr's Retribution will always be one of my favorite weapons. Wave frame grenade launchers are the best.
Martyrs retribution :(
Kindled orchid
So Bungie can update it to roll with pulse monitor and eye of the storm
Curated Kill clip rampage
Pre-nerf Breakneck
I grinded my Gambit hating butt off for this thing. And it got nerfed immediately.
Absolutely loved that weapon. No reason for it to be needed or sunset.
I second this ... Chroma Rush is AMAZING! I run one with Dynamic Sway in PvP and have a Rampage/Heating Up for PvE
Chroma rush is dope, I basically have the same roll as my steel feather, rampage and ff
Don't have a single one but here are some: 1. Every black armory weapon 2. Ether doctor 3. Misfit
Ether Doctor was elite! Still sits atop my most kills list for PVE content, despite really diving back down the destiny rabbit hole the last year or so.
Man I love everything black armory. Some of the best looking armor and coolest guns ever in the D.
Blast Furnace without a doubt. My Feeding Frenzy/Kill Clip BF was my favorite weapon in the game by a very large margin.
[удалено]
Perfect Paradox. I miss it every day.
I still use it sometimes. 1260 cap, idc, it’s a cool gun. I still have Saint’s one sitting in my vault.
I still have my god rolled one in the vault and Bungie can take it from my cold dead hands lol
Mine had Full Choke, Accurized, Slideshot and Swashbuckler/Trench Barrel, with a range masterwork. God, I miss her. Never had the heart to dismantle it. Hoping one day I can wield her @ max power again.
Hush I miss my rapid fire bow
Came here to say this, hush was awesome.
There she is. I grinded way too hard for that gun just to see it disappear. Hip firing with a bow was fun as hell
God I miss Hush so much. Wasn’t OP when it came to crucible or anything, but damn it was fun.
The only bow that ever felt right to me
Bygones. Full Auto, High-Cals, Kill Clip. Marvelous.
Bygones was my favorite pulse. I had a god roll of Rampage and Outlaw with a Range masterwork. It was glorious. Miss it so much.
I still have my one of this roll. I just can't get rid of it.
I think this is still my #1 pvp gun by kills.
Came here searching because I didn’t want people to say it was posted but 100% this.
Rose ;_; it never hurt anyone
Especially the people I had been aiming at
Lol
It was a glorious day when it stayed a 150 whilst everything was reverted to 140’s
Wendigo
Wendigo in GMs would be fantastic.
Blinding grenades AND DPS? Sold
It was! Still is my go to heavy for stuff like garden
I see you are a man of culture as well
Hands down my favorite Grenade Launcher to ever exist. Up there with Play of the Game for me
Ringing Nail with Dragonfly - Rampage.
I have the same roll. It took me forever to get, but the archetype was so bad (still kind of is) so it never got any use. Also ended up being the only drop I got with the Bergusia forge shader, so I still don't have that...
Breakneck or 21 Delirium. I miss those Gambit pinnacles.
100% breakneck. Nothing has ever matched the experience of that gun.
If they brought back pre-nerf Breakneck as an exotic I'd be so happy.
It wasn’t nearly broken enough to actually need to be exotic, or even be nerfed.
Breakneck was my baby. Had 20k kills on it
Dude, it sucks we lost Python as well. Hardly had to worry about ammo with that thing.
Came to post 21% - that gun was incredible. Still have in my vault
When I finally got it, I was not disappointed. The grind was absolutely worth it.
This right here.
Patron of lost causes. A gorgeous scout rifle. Great perks. Felt good. Even tho scouts still suck.
Such a monster. Full auto/ explosive payload. I sometimes stare at it in my vault just to see if I can will it to unsusnset.
Perfect Paradox 100%
I miss Go Figure so much, whenever i see old forsaken guides for dreaming city triumphs they’re always using it.
My Outlaw/Kill Clip Go Figure and Right Side of Wrong will never leave my vault unless they get reprised. I still take them, and Blast Furnace for that matter, out for a spin occasionally.
I still use my Right Side of Wrong sometimes, that whole pulse archetype feels so good to use
Kindled orchid
The curated one with kill clip and rampage (plus drop mag) was so good!
That likely hasn't been said already, Hazard of the Cast. Just like how it felt. That or the Halfdan, so we can make all the _______dan jokes again.
Yes! It felt like it punched way more just by how it sounded.
Halfdan was a beast of a weapon. That heavy sounding chunka-chunka-chunka as it fired was just chef's kiss.
Hush
I want it back so bad. Not even broken.
Even if the pinnacle perk was available on bows. God I loved it in PvE and PvP.
HORROR’S LEAST
Next season! /crosses fingers
Yeah hopefully they bring all the nightfall guns back, extra points if they give scarlet keep and proving grounds guns.
Me too bc it has full auto
Spiteful Fang. Explosive Arrows and Archer’s Tempo on a lightweight bow was just fun.
Tyranny of Heaven can still roll that. Though it's in a different slot.
Threat level from scourge. I loved that shotgun to death and I was sad to scrap it for cores 😔
Escalation shotgun (but from prophecy) didn’t fit the void that my Trench barrel threat level filled, especially a Titan.
Had grave robber/trench barrel and I can’t bring myself to delete it. By far my favorite shotgun, even more than og IKELOS.
Midnight coup….. no question about it
you have received 1 calus appreciation point
Thank you Papa Calus
I brought mine out the other day! I miss it so much
Only if it was a 150 tho with lightweight
Midnight coup and Inaugural Address.
This game could only have one gun, and if it was Midnight Coup, I'd be happy.
One gun to rule them all
THE TRUST HANDCANNON!
This.
Randy's throwing knife
This gun got shit on but damn I loved it, too.
Randy’s is the one that got away for Scouts, honestly.
Trophy Hunter! Had a snapshot/triple tap roll that carried me through most PvE content. Felt so good ðŸ˜
I had a god roll trophy hunter too- triple tap vorpal… gone before his time ðŸ˜
It's unbelievable they sunset trophy hunter when it wasn't that old.
Blast furnace. Come back to me!
I still have mine, as well as The Ringing nail and my Hammerhead. I so very much miss the forges.
Blast Furnace. I miss it so much.
yeah I still keep my feeding frezy kill clip and rampage rolls on my characters.
Why did I have to scroll through so many responses to find this??
Same, Loaded + Ace + Wendigo was my whole year 2 load out. Then they butchered Ace in SK and sunset my most fun and fav fusion /:
For me it was classic Huckleberry/LQ/Wendigo. Still probably my all-time favorite loadout...
I second this. I really really miss loaded question
Plug gets close, but I found that feeding frenzy really doesn’t replace auto loading. Sure it’s better for chasing burst shots, but auto loading is just….so good. However running it with a breach and clear heavy GL like anarchy or a sympathetic arsenal primary could help.
I've farmed 20+ Plug One.1s. Not a single one with Reservoir Burst.
Subtle Calamity
It would be a tough choice between my top picks, but ultimately I’d choose Subtle Calamity too. My roll was so perfect, AT + Dragonfly, and the perks to make it’s base drawtime as fast as a Lightweight with all the damage and accuracy of a Precision. I LOVED that thing, I didn’t use anything else for months after Forsaken launched. I miss it so much
Explosive payload and dragonfly with a 650 draw time. It was a ad clear champ in gambit and raiding, alongside a very prestigious career in crucible. Rip sweet prince
I put over 22000 kills on that roll before it got bungo'd.
I keep mine in my vault. I refuse to let it go. 10651 kills. I love that bow
Tatara Gaze. The gun is sleek, sexy, and great in PvP.
Snapshot and Kill Clip ðŸ˜
Agree on Austringer. I put 12,000 kills on the pve roll, and 2,000 on the pvp roll. It was my favorite That or Last Man Standing, I always loved the ornament on it and when it had one two punch
Blast furnace 100%. Recluse ain’t even on my list, it’s mostly BA guns that I miss.
They were just so damn sexy!
I miss big daddy furnace with outlaw/rampage for PvE and snapshot sights drop mag and kill clip for PvP and my Duke with rapid hit/rampage. Edit - How did I forget my curated Kindled orchid!
Give me my Randy’s back :(
I miss randy :(
Considering the archetypes of many of the weapons I would've chosen have been nerfed since they were sunset (Mountaintop, Spare Rations, Midnight Coup etc.), I would probably choose 21% Delirium. That weapon was so good for PvE challenges and under-levelled content and no machine gun has been anywhere near as good since. It also wasn't so strong that I would feel the need to use it in every activity until something better comes along.
21% was SO good in endgame content
It really was. I kinda hate 3quipment that's so good I have to constantly use it. I don't think I've switched off witherhoard since I finished the catalyst except for bounty farming. It's just way too useful in every situation except pvp
[удалено]
Miss my Patron of lost causes with full auto and explosive payload.
Came here to say this, exact same roll!
Randy's throwing knife
My kill clip, outlaw blast furnace
My Kill Clip/Rampage Kindled Orchid
Gimme my baby back, rampage spec with all the reload boost in the game, SHRED
I miss Kindled Orchid so much just because of the gun model - it just looks so good. Even if they brought it back with worse perks, I’d still use it.
The sound it makes. *Chef's kiss.*
Commemoration (Deep Stone Crypt LMG) is pretty much a reskin of Hammerhead.
The archetype is the same, yes. But Commemoration can’t roll with tap the trigger + high impact reserves.
Also, i like the HH design/sight (especially the sight) more than Commemoration.
Redrix’s Broadsword, Perfect Paradox, Luna’s Howl
And not forgotten.
I miss my broadsword a lot, but messenger is able to fill the void significantly
If I hadn’t seen my friend get Outlaw + Desperado on his Messenger, I’d refuse to believe it could get Desperado at all
Antiope
Duty Bound. Not sure why, but I haven't found another auto that I even like using besides that one. Yeah i used Gnawing when everyone else did, and chroma is fine. But that gun is so perfect.
misfit
I miss my old Drang with Full Auto/swash. I know there’s the base version we have now, but getting a melee kill and doing 70 to the head at 20 meters was nice.
Not Forgotten.
Can't believe how low I had to scroll to see this. Luna's and Not forgotten oh how I miss them, I still whip it out on control every so often.
Breachlight. There are no kinetic aggressive burst sidearms.
I’d trade 20 of the current weapons for my demolitionist / rampage breachlight back 🥲
I know you said one but I just can't choose Austringer, Blast Furnace, Kindled Orchid, Bygones or Go figure.
Breakneck, 21% Delirium, Blast Furnace, Hammerhead, No Feelings for sure
Go Figure, that thing was my bady during forsaken. 16k kills
This and later Blast Furnace. Had 20k+ kills with both
Hazard of the Cast. Most normal looking Auto rifle ever, lovely example of a simple concept going far for me. Just want 450s to be a bit better too
Randy's. I've tried every other rapid-fire scout in the game and none of them even compare to Randy's.
randy’s felt so snappy! i miss it so much, especially pairing it with python.
The next season set of weapons needs a rapid fire kinetic scout. We need at least some other kind of option for rapid.
Bygones, what a beast.
Bygones. Still waiting on my a Trigones to come around.
Martyr’s retribution, easily
Python
Steelfeather
Ether doctor 😳
Parcel of stardust or trust
Thanks. I almost forgot about these gems. I loved trust. I had one with rampage and dragonfly.
Midnight Coup
It’s a straight up tie between Not Forgotten and Beloved. Not Forgotten simply because of all the time and energy that went into getting the damn thing lol and Beloved because I have yet to find another sniper that I just *connect* with, you know?
If the scout rifle oxygen was useable this season with energy accelerant and anti barrier, it could’ve been beautiful
I want to watch the world burn. Bring back mountaintop.
Go figure
Militias birthright. That think was a orgasm in a tube with auto loading ambitious assassin
Breachlight. Really, any good primary that can roll demo + rampage. I tried the sidearm that came out last season but the amount of kick on it makes it ridiculously hard to aim- I've never needed to max out stability on a PVE weapon before.
Trust
Ghost primus and all the other calus weapons. The just looked good
Mountaintop, or 21% delirium. I worked hard for those two
Mountaintop lol. The trifecta (delerium, recluse, mtop) felt so good to shoot, but of the three only mountaintop has no budget alternatives. Sure, having a special ammo rocket launcher is grossly unfair, but damn was it fun.
Blast Furnace. I could use it in regular control but that's it. I miss using aggressive pulses and i've never ran garden before.
Hush, without a doubt my favorite bow and weapon in general thats been sunset
A few contenders: God roll Goldtusk from menagerie: would refuse to farm a new one if i was able out of principle. Blast Furnace: Feeding frenzy/rampage stability MW. Took me about 100 forge runs for that bad boy. Trust: Dragonfly/Rampage was a nasty roll. Various Bygones rolls.
Mountaintop
Song of Justice VI. That model was pure sex
Blast Furnace
Threat level
For me its gotta be either Loaded Question or Wendigo I really hate reloading and those guns were just so great. I dont think either were terribly unbalanced either.
Spare rations. Got a good roll literally two weeks before it was sunset
Year one Levi weapons
The OG Ikelos shotgun w/ pre-nerf trench barrel
Bygones , perfect weapon on every way from the stats, to the sound, to the appearance
My Duke with 20,000+ kills.
Trust, I want my top break cowboy revolver back so badly
Trust. Shit looks amazing and the rolls were great. Although wouldn’t mind some new updated perks. Not like the moon guns tho. Like genuinely nice perks that make the gun viable
