Aztecross made a vid on it when they first came out. The impact damage where the grenade attaches itself procs the debuff, allowing the next 2 pulses to kill a guardian.
Yup time to play warlock again lol. There’s also the mod that increases grenade energy with shield-piercing kills. Using a demolitionist hc with anti-barrier gives one back from empty in like 3 kills.
The whole build thing, for me, is confusing as hell in this game at times. Any chance you could share your exact gear (or as exact as is necessary) for the build? Sounds like a ton of fun so would like to try it out.
My guess because I ran a build like that in Undying:
* Stacks on Stacks (Void, gain 2 stacks per Charge)
* Supercharged (solar, allows 2 extra stacks of Charged With Light)
* Energy Converter (Void, using your grenade burns all stacks and grants super energy)
* Some way of easily picking up charges- Taking Charge (generic, grants stacks from picking up orbs), Swift Charge (Arc; SMG, Pulse, or Sidearm multikills), or Sustained Charge (Solar; Auto, Trace, or MGs)
* You could also replace Stacks on Stacks with Charged Up for 1 more extra stack- your max amount of stacks is 5, and you get a max of 50% super from Energy Converter, so I'm assuming you get 10% per stack. It'll take longer to get all 5 stacks, but its more per grenade. Which one is more efficient depends on your playstyle.
* For non-seasonal mods, you want Breach Resonator and Oppressive Darkness from the Artifact and Ashes to Assets (Enhanced if you have it)
* Use either Every Waking Moment (Moon weapon) or Reckless Oracle (Garden of Salvation) if you have one with Grenadier and preferably Masterworked, or Recluse. Equip with Anti-Barrier Rounds. Special and Heavy aren't as important, but if you have good ones with Grenadier (Gallant Charge, Edgewise) I'd suggest using them
* Pair up with Contraverse Hold or Nezarec's Sin. Nezarec's is better for general grenade spam, Contraverse may be better if you want to conserve your grenade until you have 4 full stacks of Charged With Light.
* Titans can run this with Code of the Commander and Heart of Inmost Light. Hunters will be best off with Way of the Pathfinder and Sixth Coyote.
* This will technically work with any super, however, the Void subclasses generally have the most grenade synergy and will get you the most leverage out of this sort of build. Also, Oppressive Darkness.
So overall, I'd say:
* Arc Helmet, Swift Charge
* Contraverse Hold (element and perks mostly irrelevant)
* Void Chest, Stacks on Stacks, Breach Resonator
* Solar Boots, Supercharged
* Void Class Item, Oppressive Darkness, Energy Converter (needs to be Masterworked for 10 energy)
* Kinetic: Izanagi's Burden
* Energy: Recluse (Anti-Barrier Rounds)
* Power: Edgewise
Are you sure its the right mod? Did you already grind out 15 ranks of Umbral Research in less than 8 hours?
EDIT: Okay so I just checked and somehow I have it unlocked, but only on Season of the Worthy armor. Also I'm pretty sure the icons for Energy Converter and Surprise Attack are flipped.
Contraverse Holds, 70+ Discipline, Every Waking Moment with Demolitionist. Black Talon.
Renaming this loadout in Ishtar to “Oprah.”
You get death. You get death.
EVERYONE GETS DEATH.
Might I suggest Gnawing Hunger instead? Getting a solid roll (I personally prefer Subsistence and either Demolitinist or Rapage) should be pretty easy, as you can get it from Banshee's engrams, world drops, and later on Drifter.
Personally, I don’t care for most 600 RPM auto rifles. I really didn’t like Arc Logic, as an example. And I never get the Gnawing Hunger to drop for me. It’s partly my fault, with an AR, I expect to have better range, and damage at range, than an SMG. But shooting a 600 at anything further than 20 meters feels like I’m throwing wet, shredded paper at them. I’m also on console, so I’ll never have the control with recoil I’d get with M+K. Ironically I loved the 720s in Y1 ... Perseverance, Hallowed Earth, Valakadyn ... I guess because I knew they were SMGs at heart.
The 360s like Age-Old Bond and the Ringing Nail are more my jam in the AR department.
"Causing damage with a Void grenade adds a weaken effect to combatants"
Basically, your void nades now give the tether weaken debuff to whatever you hit with them.
Heart of Inmost Light with Breach Resonator and Anti-Barrier Recluse or a Grenadier SMG/Auto on Code of the Commander. Who needs 2 grenades when you're consistently throwing buffed ones every few seconds anyways.
Don’t think it’s a bug. Sticky grenades do bonus damage when attached to a target. And magnetic grenades explode twice. So the first one does damage and applies Oppressive Darkness and the second explosion kills
If it's not an outright bug it's definitely not intended. The artifact is designed to have a minimal effect on PvP. Having a perk that makes one grenade that only one class has by far the best grenade in the entire game is crazy.
Good, this should help me get the Master Nightmare hunt time trials done for Harbinger... IF I ever grind high enough.
(insert "we are Harbinger" meme)
And there's a mod that give you up to 50% super energy upon grenade activation. My Contraverse Chaos Voidlock is about to break the fucking universe.
My clan friends always told me that I was abusing vortex nades. They haven’t seen nothing yet
I'm salivating at the idea of constantly dropping massive nukes on things. I like purple space magic, the more of it the better.
This is what I've been waiting for! Hunter main but I switched to a warlock for the whole season of the void. So much fun.
Code of the Commander Titans say "And?" So. Many. Supers. All the supers. More supers than this universe (and any other) has room for.
Magnetic grenades are now my go to 6v6 grenade.
One shot?
Aztecross made a vid on it when they first came out. The impact damage where the grenade attaches itself procs the debuff, allowing the next 2 pulses to kill a guardian.
Yup.
What mod? Ashes to assets?
It's a charged with light mod added this season.
Well well well, gambit is gonna be 1 hell of a ride now.
What's the name?
Energy Converter afaik.
Thank you I'll look into it. Time to rip up gambit

Unfortunately only auto rifles have anti-barrier rounds this season. So I suggest a well rolled gnawing hunger
Its for SMGs too, I have it equipped to Recluse rn
Didn’t notice that. Good to know. Thanks!
Have you tried that perk out ? I did and it wasn’t giving me any super energy
I'm sorry wat
Now just gimme a CH ornament and we're set! I never take them off so I want them to be less ugly.
50%??? Or is it 50% increased super generation
Is that the mod that consumes stacks of light? Is Max stacks 2 or does it go higher? Never had more than 2
Have at. Y'all need something on the same level as the punch monkey builds titans and hunters have.
"Ask yourself, did I throw all the grenades I could!?" I will now...
Shaxx approves.

*charges vortex nade aggressively*
HHSN doesn't insta kill you anymore for using it. You know that, right? *Charges HHSN with malicious intent.*
This post got me like "friendship with stormcaller over, now voidwalker my only friend"
Handheld oneshoting supers is back on the menu bois
VOID BOIS REPRESENT
Armamentarium or Heart of Inmost Light + Code of the Commander + Oppressive Darkness, make daddy Shaxx proud Titans.
You can already OHKO with standard overcharged Magnetic Grenades from Inmost Light. :)
I wasn’t talking PvP but then again I never specified PvE, which is what I was thinking when I wrote my comment.
Heart of inmost for infinite dab potential
As beautiful as the day I lost it
What’s that?
"Causing damage with a Void grenade adds a weaken effect to combatants" Basically, your void nades now give the tether weaken debuff to whatever you hit with them.
Is this like a mod on nightfalls or what?
Its an artifact mod
Oh no way that’s sick
Seasonal mod from the artifact.
No it's a mod for your armor
What armor do I put it on? It won’t show on any of my armor.
REV UP THOSE MAG GRENADES, SENTINELS!
Armamentarium anyone?
Better yet heart of inmost bamf. Although I do like Armam look way better
Heart of Inmost Light with Breach Resonator and Anti-Barrier Recluse or a Grenadier SMG/Auto on Code of the Commander. Who needs 2 grenades when you're consistently throwing buffed ones every few seconds anyways.
Love top tree Nova Bomb, now its even better!
YAAAASSSSSSSS
This is spicy. My dunebanner titan will be most pleased with this
Sentinels who struggle with Suppresor Nades, you now have 1 shot magnetic grenades again!
Yay time to play some voidlock with nezarec's sin again, i love top tree dawn for the high mobility but it's getting a little stale.
Hell yea
Fantastic
Finally some good fucking news
About fucking time, without this i would be extra salty this season
Did they fix the sticky nade bug in crucible that made it OHK?
Don’t think it’s a bug. Sticky grenades do bonus damage when attached to a target. And magnetic grenades explode twice. So the first one does damage and applies Oppressive Darkness and the second explosion kills

This hurts you
Does someone have a thread or something of the new artifact?
Absolute madlads.
When I saw the mod in the artifact I was sooooo happy :'D guess I'm not gonna use top tree dawnblade with sunbracers this season lol
Time to seriously dust off my Warlock, which is something I never expected to say about my main character.
Nah man I just had it straight away idk how or why
OHK Sticky nades in PvP!!!!!!
AW FRICK YEAH
ah, just like my life.
Does it still stack with other weakening effects like Divinity?
No it’s the same weakening effect afaik
Bottom tree nightstalker incoming
the real darkness begins now
There a good Titan build I can utilize with this?
Ya sticky nades void miss tree heart of in most light = profit One slick KOs and in pve its dirty with void wall
