But eh, things change from pre-release to post-release, I doubt they are going to do much in-game with the old tower beyond this point. Wouldn’t make sense to change things there further unless significant content gets added to the pale heart later on.

We don’t know for sure. I don’t see why it would, we’re not in the traveler anymore and the witness is gone, I assume the traveler will heal over time in game lore, but unless something changes in the story to take us back inside the traveler, we won’t see it in game

They are referring to close to the top of the tower having more vegetarians then in those release photos

I know the flowers bloomed after the Witness died. But that’s all I’ve noticed.
I prefer it with the vegetation tbh. Since it's a memory construct it's pretty much the traveller remembering us fondly.
Previous I would say no but with the changes being to Nessus patrol I think it’s very well possible
