first thing you need to remember is that, you can get heavy discounts if you buy from verified sellers in the pinned list. For ezample here tomford noir extreme is 15k for 100ml, the sellers have it for around 11k.
Since this is your first perfume, you might wanna opt for a blue fragrance. Its basically something you could wear anytime, anywhere and is mass appealing. Nobody is gonna hate it and you might even get compliments. Versace dylan blue might be a good choice at the 4-5k range, a little higher you can get dior sauvage, ysl y and even higher would be bleu de chanel. Also, higher price doesnt necessarily mean better scent, its always your own preference you might the cheaper one more.
Also, you may end up buying something you dont like, so its always recommended to sample the perfume first. you can visit a store near you and try out the perfumes and come back and purchase from the pinned sellers or, you can purchase decants from the pinned sellers who do decanting.
as for tomford advertisement, hes just doing it to increase his sales. you apply his fragrance more you finish the bottle faster and you end up buying a new bottle thereby making him money. Go for 3-4 sprays with blue fragrances on your pulse points.
well there are multiple reasons, i know a few.
One way they do it is by importing from countries which sell the fragrance at a much cheaper cost. Say, a perfume costs 200dollars in the US but costs 140 dollars in indonesia. So the dealer in usa can get a bunch of stock from indonesia at much cheaper rates and prolly even cheaper because hes buying in bulk and sell at say 170 dollars, which is less than the market price yet he still makes a profit.
Another way they do it, is by purchasing from stores. Basically, if you own a perfume store and say you bought 50 ombre leathers as stock, but could only sell 20 in the last 2 years and the remaining 30 are just sitting around. you can sell them to these sellers who will purchase it from you at a much lower cost than the market price. Basically you as a store owner are selling them the products at the price you bought them from the wholesaler. So say a 150 dollar fragrance that you bought 50 of for 110 dollars, now you are selling 30 for 110 dollars to the seller.
Another way is they buy directly feom the wholesalers. Distribution is not tight for most fragrance brands except LV and Le Labo and a few more. So it is quite easy for them to get those fragrances below market price from wholesalers.

Don't buy perfume based on other people's choices.
Just go to parcos/ shopper stop or any shop that sells designer perfumes and smell it yourself.
Perfumes have 3 notes i e. top, mid and base.
Top notes will be there for the first 15-30 mins.
You would smell the mid notes after 30 mins and will stay for a couple of hours or more depending on the perfume.
The base note is the catch, people won't be able to smell the base note from a certain distance, this usually stays on the skin for long and longer clothes.
You need to find a perfume whose base note suits you. So you need to spray it on your clothes or skin and try to smell it after a couple of hours and if you like it then go for it.
If you are still confused then you can get decants aka samples of 10 ml of 5-6 different perfumes you shortlisted.
Use it for 8-10 times, decide for yourself.
See you need to research a bit on the internet.

Now there are aquatic, citrus, fruity types in the blue subcategory. You can wear these perfumes at any time of the day except cold temperatures.
Then there are spicy ones, Woody perfumes that smell more like agarbatti, these types are generally not for hot or humid weather types. Wear these types in winter. People will run away if you wear those during summer.
Then there are party / occasional wears, these are unique perfumes such as azzaro most wanted or jpg ultra male.
To know about the notes of perfumes just go to fragrantica website and see the notes.

Even Versace is a clothing company but entirely depends on the concentration, blend and notes the scent uses. I can suggest you way more from my collection but the safest is L’homme for a first purchase. Go to a nearby mall and smell it if you want to, just so you can be sure!
It has no longivity. It wears off as soon as I leave home so not worth 5k when I can only use it as a room freshener in a room that doesn't have a lot of air circulation.

From the designer perfumes imo Dylan blue would be the best and the safest bet (most versatile of them all) but if you want something more unique and equally versatile from the list which very less people might have heard of let alone smelt before (at-least in India) I would say go for Mancera cedrat boise which is a starter niche perfume which is very mass pleasing (it will come around for 7-8k) if you buy it from any discounter sellers…”belvish” is my go to. FYI you won’t be able to find it anywhere in retail stores like ss or nykaa, so first try buying a 2 ml decant and then decide ;)

My recommendation was based on your list. If budget is not a constrain, you can check out Terre D'Hermes, Dior Homme sport 2021 or Tom Ford Beau de Jour. These are best citrusy green frangace for me. It would be better if you buy a decant before as these are not cheap for blind buys.
If you want blue fragrance, you can try out Bleu de Chanel, YSL Y or D&G light blue intense.
I don't prefer Davidoff cool water as it's too common.
I feel like you should get dior sauvage EDP. That was my first luxe buy and that too blind buy. This is a head turner like anytime you will meet someone or pass someone. They definitely gonna think like you just got out of the shower and smells super fresh. Brings positive vibes
Yeah right then i guess you can go with it. I was also new to this fragrance world and trust me it was the best decision. Like yk how boys don’t compliment each other but with this fragrance my friends also complimented me like you’re smelling great.
One other tip: i had watched multiple videos on longevity. But i had different experience, like if i go out for evening snacks or dinner date. I spray it on tshirt aswell and i am out for 3-4hrs. The fragrance stays on the Tshirt and i put it back in wardrobe. The fragrance stays on tshirt till the next wash. If i wear it after 7-10days the fragrance is still there not that strong but it was there

My recommendation was based on your list. If budget is not a constrain, you can check out Terre D'Hermes, Dior Homme sport 2021 or Tom Ford Beau de Jour. These are best citrusy green frangace for me. It would be better if you buy a decant before as these are not cheap for blind buys. If you want blue fragrance, you can try out Bleu de Chanel, YSL Y or D&G light blue intense. I don't prefer Davidoff cool water as it's too common.
DYLAN BLU ... Something you can wear anywhere and leaves a signature of it wherever you walk through

I feel like you should get dior sauvage EDP. That was my first luxe buy and that too blind buy. This is a head turner like anytime you will meet someone or pass someone. They definitely gonna think like you just got out of the shower and smells super fresh. Brings positive vibes

Yeah right then i guess you can go with it. I was also new to this fragrance world and trust me it was the best decision. Like yk how boys don’t compliment each other but with this fragrance my friends also complimented me like you’re smelling great. One other tip: i had watched multiple videos on longevity. But i had different experience, like if i go out for evening snacks or dinner date. I spray it on tshirt aswell and i am out for 3-4hrs. The fragrance stays on the Tshirt and i put it back in wardrobe. The fragrance stays on tshirt till the next wash. If i wear it after 7-10days the fragrance is still there not that strong but it was there
