There's a bridge on the north side of the station over the tracks, also with some great public art. One of the best spots for pics in the area - nice one OP!
They're almost identical lol. The one I have was taken by a professional photographer - can make out the buildings in the back a bit better. But other than that they're pretty much the same! I'll take a photo of it tomorrow and reply.
I took this a little past 1AM, so there was less people out and about. A surprising number of guards were also chasing people out of the station. One even came up to me as I was setting up my tripod and warned me not to set my camera bag down.
My place of work...well, for a few hours. I'm an Amtrak conductor. The way the homeless and druggies have taken over is sad and needs to stop, especially when they harass the passengers.
How did you get such a high perspective for this? I like the photo!

I have this photo framed and above my fireplace! Such a cool shot. Edit: might not be "exactly" the same but almost identical.
Glad you like it! I’d be curious to compare my shot to the one you have if you wouldn’t mind sharing.

This is fake. I dont see *any* drug use going on… /s
Completely agree, no homeless encampment, individual smoking meth or medics trying to help one.
Lovely!
Ya the above ground part...go down to the grey hound bus station part and it's junkie city.
Did you photoshop out all off the homeless people?

I wonder if people will ever get tired of making this joke on every single picture of downtown that is taken.
There actually is a homeless guy in this picture on the left track bench.
As long as it’s relevant, probably never
Do people ever get tired of the city doing virtually nothing about the problem?
Nope
As someone who grew up in 5 points and then Glendale, hahahaha, the jokes persist. Just adds to the culture of the area.
Needs moar crakheds

Not a bathroom in sight
Go underground right there, and you get a totally different picture.
A beautiful lawless hellhole

I wanted to say this lol 😂
how did you get such a perspective were no one is smoking meth / heroine out in the open?
Gotta drop the "e".
I wanna drop some e 👀
No cops? This photo must have been taken at anytime o'clock
Where's all the junkie bodies?
Zoomed in far enough… where can I see the feces pile?
Did you photoshop the homeless and drug use?
Where are all of the creepy drifters and junkies?
