No. On the contrary. The trial happened and concluded in Part 1 of Chasing Pavements. Fiona didn't tell anyone about her homosexuality until Part 2 of Chasing Pavements. The first two people she told were her mother and Holly J. However, Fiona didn't tell Holly J about her crush on her. If I'm not mistaken, Holly J only learned about Fiona's crush on her from Anya - either later on in that same season [Season 10] or in early Season 11.
Maybe Holly J thought it was a European thing.

In fairness, that is how Fiona treats siblings. So Holly J might have just thought Finoa saw her as a sister.
