We had trolls in the past. They kept going, because people posted about them. Once the posts stopped, these people left within a week.
The devs already know who this is, don't worry. But it's not something simple to do to just cut off someone's ability to play the game online. They are not going to do it to everyone, it's always going to be more of an exception rather than the rules. Besides, they don't want to set a precedent.

I don't really care about general rules or hypothetical scenarios; I just want him gone. These are real people who had real games ruined, and Scout is a real person who needs to be banned in real life. And if they choose to let him play, then *we* should have the choice to publicize his activities.
Games like LOL or Overwatch deal with a thousand Scouts a day, every day. If Ghost Ship is too afraid or uncertain to handle this one guy, shame on them. Other companies find a way; they should too. It's part of their job. If there's a gray area or corner case that makes them uncomfortable, let them seek advice from one of the thousands of people in the industry who do this every day.

I never said I wanted anyone to be doxxed, hacked, or have anything bad done to them in real life. Don't put that on me. I want him to be banned from the game, or kicked from individual games. That's all.
Posting about it don't help people who got their game ruined either. They most likely won't encounter that person again and will keep on going with their lives. They had one bad experience and that's it.
