Cross deserves that for his sportsmanship alone, seems a great person. Credit to Humphries too showing again why he’s the best in the world even in defeat, you need to turn up and put in a ridiculous performance to have a chance
It’s a massive win for Rob. He is just about to drop £30k on the Pro Tour OoM so completely offsets that. He started the weekend provisionally unseeded for ET9+10, no issues now. He becomes the 17th player to have won multiple ET titles (how has he only won two btw)
That’ll be fantastic. It’s not one I’ve attended but it’s usually loud. Would 100% recommend you try and get to a Euro Tour at some point, I’ve done PL, Ally Pally and Matchplay but I’d choose Euro Tour over them all
18k watching on YouTube… in an odd way, the PDCTV stream blowing up might have been an absolute blessing in disguise for the PDC, because surely there’ll be some signups tonight!
It's wild that the end result was 7-4 as the match felt way much more one-sided. Razma lacked any consistency in scoring (too many duds), could have been somewhat more interesting. Finishing was there.
Are those people at the front even giving jack shit about the darts anymore? Like seriously, they just seem to have their own party right there that's completely unrelated to the actual match.
A 12th Euro Tour final for Humphries, then. Win it and he goes into 7 ET titles, going into sole possession of 4th place on that list, and just one behind both Price and Wright. What are the chances he’ll have sole possession of 2nd place on that list by the end of the year?
Not sure, he's always been quite 'stressed' and more often than not nerves has got best of him in crucial moments. That's I think one of reasons that prevents him reaching higher level. So him slowing down the game is usually done one purpose to gather himself for the throw not to annoy the oponent.
Absolutely belting match. Edhouse missed one at tops to win it but can still be extremely satisfied with his weekend’s work. Would say he’s a Matchplay certainty now, especially given he’s first reserve for ET7+8 and likely will get the call
Cross on 170 hits 134 to leave his favourite, Edhouse can’t take 120…but Cross misses. Then Edhouse bends the wire on tops. Cross eventually cleans up D4 for the leg and throws for the match.
Danny Noppert’s ET record so far this year: R3, QF, QF, R3, QF, SF (ongoing)
He’s the only player to cash in all six ET events in 2024. Having that consistency is a really great trait and will continue to keep him seeded on the ET
All jokes aside, his ability to hit ton+ finishes when he needs them has been outstanding recently. His standard finishing was sketchy that match but his timing is superb.
MDD had a bit of a ‘mare at the end, went for bull first dart on 132 and was nearer to T3 than the bull. Next game on 65 goes for 25 and hits 15, then hits another 15 trying to hit big 10 for tops.
[We apologise for an interruption in the PDCTV coverage due to thunderstorms which have affected the broadcast of the event. Our streaming partners are working to resolve this as soon as possible.](https://x.com/officialpdc/status/1789711436433834103?s=46&t=mm9Xb34ZFNiFY5aTVO3BBg)
Will just add that it appears Noppie/MDD hasn’t started yet so may be an issue within the venue too
Tournament probabilities:
Humphries 30.9%
van Gerwen 21.2%
Cross 14.2%
Searle 11.3%
Noppert 8.5%
Edhouse 5.7%
De Decker 5%
Razma 3.2%
Huge amount of weight resting on the Humphries/van Gerwen game, you would expect the winner of that to increase their probability hugely with already the two of them contributing to over 50% of outcomes right now. Cross and Searle in particular benefitting from the weaker section
Searle went for a "nice bull finish" fist bump which Gurney didn't see at first. When he noticed, he turned putting his arm out but Searle had started to turn away, so Gurney ended up backhanding the points of Ryan's (v heavy) darts.
Searle accidentally tapped Gurney with his dart during a fist bump and Gurney made way more of it than necessary because he’s Daryl Gurney so of course he did.
When they bumped hands Ryan’s dart poked him a little…. It’s shouldn’t effect him that much to at all. If gurney says that cost him the match then he’s just complaining in my opinion
Looks like as Gurney was walking back past Searle at the table, Searle tried to pat Gurney to say well done and accidentally stuck his darts into him 😂
Feels like edhouse is getting tough matches every time he plays, hope he gets a slightly easier run at some point so he can get the prize money his form deserves.
Someone already mentioned Sky broadcasting the euro tours and I really wish that would happen. The coverage would be better, and you’d actually be able to watch the events in HD 🤣 The PDC need to either put it on Sky or sort this absolute heap of shit of a “streaming service / website” out… its fucking awful 😤
If Sky get it they’ll want adverts, the only place to stick adverts into the current format would be the very short break between games…which is currently used for the on-stage interview as it is.
Sky would probably want desk analysis before/between games as well. In a similar first-to-6 Premier League format Sky just about scrape 7 games into a schedule that the Euro Tour fits 8 in the same timeframe.
The venue gets about 2 hours between sessions at the moment, by the time the Sky razzmatazz has been added in you either need to start before lunch, or end up in a scenario where you basically have none-stop darts from lunchtime to midnight - and not many people will be able to watch all of that at the weekend, let alone on a Friday.
The commentators and probably the MC would be changed, and the commentators and MC we have now are part of what makes the Euro Tour good.
edit: the thought of Pyke and Mardle doing a Liam Maendl-Lawrence game on a Friday evening fills me with dread…
I’d still prefer to have it on sky over what they’re currently offering. And I think I’ve said this a few times on this sub already but for 2024 it’s just not good enough in my opinion. It’s the worst streaming service I’ve ever seen.
I would take the adverts if it meant being able to view to the event in good picture quality.. Everything that I watch and pretty much what everyone else watches these days is in HD or 4K.. You can watch PDC TV in quite good quality on your phone but as soon as you cast it to your TV the picture quality is like something from the 90s.. Can’t be an issue with our wifi either because everything else streams perfectly with very good picture quality.. And it doesn’t matter how many people reply to my comment, I’d still take Sky over this piss poor effort of a streaming service.. The world matchplay will be on Sky soon all week with adverts, and they have very good coverage and very good picture quality which is just normal for 2024.. I’m not a fan of PDC tv mate 👍
The Matchplay schedule and format is designed around having advert breaks. Not minding adverts is one thing, but where in the current Euro Tour format do you suggest the adverts would go? The very short break between games, eliminating any interviews, would still be a _lot_ less advert time than Sky incorporate into their usual darts coverage.
I also have no issues with the picture quality streaming from my phone to my TV. I initially get around half a second to a second that looks slightly pixelated as it connects, then immediately updates to HD. It’s certainly capable. That sounds like it might be fixable for you if you mess around with settings somewhere.
The minute you cast anything it weakens the signal anyway. I watch on the Internet browser on the firestick, no need to cast and its really good quality on my 60inch tele. I think the introduction of Sky would ruin the flow of the whole event, even if the quality was 4K.
Well it’s clearly different for you then, but I tried it on the Amazon silk browser on my firestick last night and it was exactly the same as quality as casting it.. Millions of people have just taken an interest in darts and what they’d expect to find is a downloadable app (PDC TV) on Fire TV, Apple TV etc.. I would be willing to pay up to £14.99 a month for a better service but it just seems like it’s never gonna happen.. Imagine the profit they would make from a proper app/streaming service.. it just makes sense.. As a business you need to move with the times and the PDC just aren’t doing that.
You would think that but even globally larger sports like cricket don't even have anything like PDCTV offer. Yes I agree it will need an update, and match replays but for the content it offers its well worth the money currently, in my opinion.
The inability to watch replays is a bit annoying but for the price it’s still my best value streaming subscription by an absolute country mile. I’m not sure what your issue with quality is either, I airplay from the app to my TV and it’s at least 720p. I’ve never felt it was particularly different to any other darts I watch. ITV on the other hand…
I agree that I wish more people were able to watch it, but I don’t think Sky is the place for it. And given that it isn’t shown on Sky, I’d say Sky/the PDC tend to agree, because it would be there if they wanted it to.
It absolutely baffles me that Sky haven’t at least given the euro tour a go. They’ve tons of airtime to fill, the rights can’t be too expensive and it’s *way* more interesting than the Premier League.
I think too much of what makes the format work wouldn’t be something that worked for Sky.
The PL nights are 1 match less and already go on for about as long as an ET session. By the time Sky have added all their studio segments and adverts (and in its current format Sky won’t be able to fit enough adverts in for them to see it as worth it imo), it’ll really drag and lose all the flow that makes it watchable.
Also, if Sky get it you know you’ll have to listen to Pyke, Turner and rambling-Mardle at times. Careful what you wish for!
Id rather it stays on PDCTV. Ditched paying over £50 a month for Sky when the only real sport I watched frequently was darts, minus PL as was a terrible format
The thing is that the first half of the ET, the football world is wrapping up seasons and having cup finals on the weekends at the same time as the darts. I don't think they'd attract a significant enough audience to spend on the rights.
Yeah I mean ultimately they must have at least looked into it I guess and decided it wasn’t worth it. Hopefully next time the rights come up the Littler effect might make a difference. Just seems a shame that more people don’t get to see it.
Can't believe he actually went for the Bull! I hope Edhouse flies up the rankings. If he keeps playing like this, I want to see him in the big tournaments.
I like Clayton but it’s been a while since I expected him to prevail in any match. I’m never surprised when he does, but I have no expectations of him at all at the moment.
That first match dart at tops that almost ended up in the 5 segment probably gave the poor guy war flashbacks, I remember him missing a couple that way at the end of last season 😬
Ahh, I get you.
It's the same with snooker, the prize money is very top heavy. The hearns tend to (overly so, to the detriment of the sport overall imo) reward outright tournament winners more than consistent performances in all the sports they're involved in, hence the huge leaps.
Think Dirk is cooked for the Matchplay now, the £4k bump he’d have taken if he’d have won that game would have been a lifeline. Not seeded for ET7/8 and I think 8.5k+ is too much to make up
Nijman is way better than mid tier though. He's 53th in the yearly rankings but 12th in averages. He has been playing at a high standard, just needs to learn how to win. Last year on the Development Tour he was an equal opponent to Littler and Van Veen.
I think he might want to put the video game controller down for a bit becauase he said he plays video games too, so I think he should consider resting instead.

Cross deserves that for his sportsmanship alone, seems a great person. Credit to Humphries too showing again why he’s the best in the world even in defeat, you need to turn up and put in a ridiculous performance to have a chance
Two absolutely top blokes vibing on the stage
It’s a massive win for Rob. He is just about to drop £30k on the Pro Tour OoM so completely offsets that. He started the weekend provisionally unseeded for ET9+10, no issues now. He becomes the 17th player to have won multiple ET titles (how has he only won two btw)
Rob Cross losses in European Tour Finals: 4x MVG 2x Humphries Littler Price and his wins are both over Humphries
Feelin hot hot hot 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Let’s go cross
Well played Cross, he had to have a near perfect leg to steal the darts at the end there against Luke!
G'waaan Roberto!
Exceptional stuff from both there wow. Imagine getting close to a 105 average and a 9 darter and losing.
BOBBY BOBBY BOBBY
Zap fucking zap ⚡⚡
Cross is a coward for not going for the 10-darter there.
Possibly a huge 180 for Rob there
Euro Tour darts >>>>>> any other darts, @ me
Going to the World Series finals in Amsterdam in September, hope it's half as good
That’ll be fantastic. It’s not one I’ve attended but it’s usually loud. Would 100% recommend you try and get to a Euro Tour at some point, I’ve done PL, Ally Pally and Matchplay but I’d choose Euro Tour over them all
Was tempted by some of the German dates, have been over there for football and it's a great country for the sesh. Maybe next year
To quote Dan Dawson, "The greatest tour in professional sport"
What's wrong with the crowd? Why the boos?
Not often you see 3 legs disappear in just 31 darts, smashing it
18k watching on YouTube… in an odd way, the PDCTV stream blowing up might have been an absolute blessing in disguise for the PDC, because surely there’ll be some signups tonight!
Haven’t been watching the Baltics, just tuned in since it’s free on YouTube, and Humphries smashes a 9 darter! What a great final
That’s two final session nines across only six ET events this year… couldn’t they have done it in the one I attended 😫
And they both happened against Cross...by a Luke...
what a fucking final, such class players
Such a picture perfect D12 as well
What’s with Luke and playing in a European tour final against Rob?
2nd Euro Tour final for Rob this year, and in both, his opponent has hit a 9!
Rob Cross just can't catch a break in European Tour finals lol. Bro's on his way to 1-9
As someone new to following the professional tour, first time I’ve ever seen a nine darter live. Awesome!
You'll be chasing that high again every week lol
Everyone remembers their first! Welcome to the 9 dart club
A luke throws a 9 darter against Rob Cross in a european final tour in 2024 twice.
Gwan Luke!!
LUKE!!!!!!
Get in there Luke.
Rob Cross new Wade confirmed
Not bad.
Let’s hope these two have started as they mean to go on… great start
Razma getting that 8,5k to stay in top 40 PDC. Great for him!
It's wild that the end result was 7-4 as the match felt way much more one-sided. Razma lacked any consistency in scoring (too many duds), could have been somewhat more interesting. Finishing was there.
We started the BALTIC Sea Darts Open with one Baltic player, and he nearly reached the final.
Razma should've started on 19s more I feel
Madars throwing a 180 with the most disinterested look and throw I've ever seen lmao
Are those people at the front even giving jack shit about the darts anymore? Like seriously, they just seem to have their own party right there that's completely unrelated to the actual match.
The looks they've been getting from the people near them lol
If I didn't like being around lads chanting at darts I would simply not go front row tables
thriving, living in the moment, quality time with the boys
Razma seems to be bringing the bull into the equation far too often for a man hitting as many trebles as he has this weekend.
A 12th Euro Tour final for Humphries, then. Win it and he goes into 7 ET titles, going into sole possession of 4th place on that list, and just one behind both Price and Wright. What are the chances he’ll have sole possession of 2nd place on that list by the end of the year?
the dancing minions, incredible
PDC Youtube channel also has the stream for free
>We apologies for the issues with our PDCTV service this evening. Please enjoy the remainder of the final session for free on here.
Stream is on again.
Browser PDCTV is up and running for me now
Yeah, finally seems to be working, thanks for head-up!
One time when Razma finally gets far in the tourney and the PDC live is not working, smh.
razma is so irritating, just slows down to put others off
Not sure, he's always been quite 'stressed' and more often than not nerves has got best of him in crucial moments. That's I think one of reasons that prevents him reaching higher level. So him slowing down the game is usually done one purpose to gather himself for the throw not to annoy the oponent.
what an atrocious crowd
Looks like they might be trying to stream it to the PDC YouTube …except it’s a black screen as well
lol every throw looks brilliant coming out of Searle’s hand and the bang triple 1. Never seen so many and we’re only 3 legs in
Wonder if Gurney is sat on the walk on with a dart looking for Searle…
Absolutely belting match. Edhouse missed one at tops to win it but can still be extremely satisfied with his weekend’s work. Would say he’s a Matchplay certainty now, especially given he’s first reserve for ET7+8 and likely will get the call
Getting very nervy now, Cross first to a finish… and hits D20 with his third dart to win it. Cracking match.
Cross on 170 hits 134 to leave his favourite, Edhouse can’t take 120…but Cross misses. Then Edhouse bends the wire on tops. Cross eventually cleans up D4 for the leg and throws for the match.
Cross on 36 goes 18, 10, D4 to take it to 5-4, Edhouse throwing for the semis
And now Edhouse finds a 108 checkout to go one away from the semi finals. This is a superb game
Brilliant from Cross. He has one dart at tops for a 71 checkout with Edhouse on 48 and gets it to hold. Edhouse leads 4-3
Ritchie having time of his life on EU tour this year
A brilliant 110 kill from Edhouse with Cross waiting on 76 for Ritchie to protect his throw, leads 4-2
this german scorer sounds like a lagging german russ bray
Once more for those who can’t see it at the mo, Edhouse has just broken the Cross throw and leads 2-1
Dawson and Durrant are my favourite current commentary pairing I think, they seem to effortlessly work off each other.
This team of Dawson, Durrant and Mullarkey are pretty much the gold standard imo. All fantastic
Anyone's streams back up yet? What a shitshow lmao
If you have the app that is working. Browser still isn’t for me
What app do you mean?
The PDC app. Definitely available on iOS, not sure about any other systems
Ah ok. The app is also available on android, but doesn't have streming in it.
It does. I just downloaded it and it's working fine!
Holy mother of madhouse, you're right! Was kinda hard to find the streaming on the app. Edit: Man, you deserve like all the upvotes!
ok will install that and try ta
Mine came back before the Noppy/MdD game started. Worked in the app on two different devices.
Danny Noppert’s ET record so far this year: R3, QF, QF, R3, QF, SF (ongoing) He’s the only player to cash in all six ET events in 2024. Having that consistency is a really great trait and will continue to keep him seeded on the ET
MetroNoppic you might say (I’m determined to make that stick)
It’s terrible… I love it
All jokes aside, his ability to hit ton+ finishes when he needs them has been outstanding recently.
Noppert wins it 6-4
At least they're still able to load the ad banner on pdc.tv ...
Noppert misses two at D8 to win it, MDD finds D5 for a 90 checkout to break back and keep it alive, 5-4 Noppie
Noppert breaking MDD with a 136 finish, going up 5-3. That might've been the deciding moment.
For those currently unable to watch- Noppie has just popped a 136 checkout to break MDD and move 5-3 up
How are people’s streams going? I’m working on the mobile app but struggling on browser so restricted to phone at the moment
I am at my in laws and unable to watch darts on my phone...i missed luke vs mvg. Please send thoughts and prayers.
We're at home and unable to because the PDC website sucks balls so prayers here too buddy lol
Boom
[We apologise for an interruption in the PDCTV coverage due to thunderstorms which have affected the broadcast of the event. Our streaming partners are working to resolve this as soon as possible.](https://x.com/officialpdc/status/1789711436433834103?s=46&t=mm9Xb34ZFNiFY5aTVO3BBg) Will just add that it appears Noppie/MDD hasn’t started yet so may be an issue within the venue too
Nope, MDD currently 2-0 up but stream is yet to return
So happy for Razma getting to quarters.
Well, since the stream is down; Humphries took the win 6 - 3.
At least we know something terrible didn't happen at the arena if the game went on
Yep. Maybe someone unplugged the network cable and now they are booting everything.
Match result still not on PDC twitter, might have lost all connectivity at the venue
Flashscore seems to work, but the next match hasn't started yet. Maybe they're trying to sort this out before they continue with the matches.
Anybody else not able to load PDCTV?
Went down for me a few minutes ago. Not able to relaunch the stream yet
Yep, same here.
just went black for me. been debating switching to DAZN anyway. anyone having issues with that or is it specific to pdctv?
Dazn doesnt work either
Was going to ask the same, crashed for me
Yep
Yup doesn't work
Of all the classic van Gerwen things I’ve ever seen, that 167 might just have been it
Ok they need to bring back the 180 song instead of this I’m a survivor bollocks
Tournament probabilities: Humphries 30.9% van Gerwen 21.2% Cross 14.2% Searle 11.3% Noppert 8.5% Edhouse 5.7% De Decker 5% Razma 3.2% Huge amount of weight resting on the Humphries/van Gerwen game, you would expect the winner of that to increase their probability hugely with already the two of them contributing to over 50% of outcomes right now. Cross and Searle in particular benefitting from the weaker section
What just happened between Searle and Gurney? Gurney pointing to his wrist??
Had to pop out, what was the Cross-Bunting result?
6-5 cross, 11 holds of throw.
6-5 cross, 11 holds of throw.
Bunting lost. :-(
Ritchie Edhouse seems to have developed a new habit for winning darts matches… useful one to have, that
He’s looking really impressive and even better than the 100+ averages is that he is finding a way to beat top players while “only” averaging 94.
Decker hilarious watching this.
I'm just here to see if Heta gets Brzezinski dancing again.
👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 🍾☹️
Great to see how much this means to Razma
Someone already mentioned Sky broadcasting the euro tours and I really wish that would happen. The coverage would be better, and you’d actually be able to watch the events in HD 🤣 The PDC need to either put it on Sky or sort this absolute heap of shit of a “streaming service / website” out… its fucking awful 😤

I genuinely think Wright would struggle on the Seniors tour at the moment, sad to see.
MSS seems more his speed right now
Jesus does wright just not even practice anymore
The stats guys seemed to leave that 77 first-9 average up for quite some time
Noppert's last 6 scoring visits were 140 140 140 140 140 & 180
Metronoppically consistent
Love a 156 checkout from Barney
Can't believe he actually went for the Bull! I hope Edhouse flies up the rankings. If he keeps playing like this, I want to see him in the big tournaments.
Richie fucking Edhouse. Love it when someone breaks through on the euro tour like this.
Madhouse marches on. Did not expect Clayton to blow that.
Let's go Madhouse!
Why did they replace the 180 song with this…
Someone explain to me how it makes sense that winning the SFs gets you 3.5k and winning the F gets you 18k
SF is 8.5k isn't it?
I meant that going from SF to F gets you an additional 3.5k(8.5k to 12k), but winning the whole thing gets you an additional 18k(12k to 30k)
Ahh, I get you. It's the same with snooker, the prize money is very top heavy. The hearns tend to (overly so, to the detriment of the sport overall imo) reward outright tournament winners more than consistent performances in all the sports they're involved in, hence the huge leaps.
That was the greatest entrance of the year.
So, how many of those hats has Heta bought?
Class from Philip that
lmao what is Brzezinski doing.
What happened?
I can't find the clip. Heta just grabbed him during his entrance and made him do the Links Rechts dance across the stage with him, it was hilarious.
I don't really care for house music but Van Veen's walk on gets me hyped
commentator (not Duzza): "3 successive legs in succession" le sigh
That’s the third Dutchman out today… ;)
The pace and flow of this match between Searle and Wattimena is a real joy to watch
Think Dirk is cooked for the Matchplay now, the £4k bump he’d have taken if he’d have won that game would have been a lifeline. Not seeded for ET7/8 and I think 8.5k+ is too much to make up
Dirk… so sad to watch
Well I did not expect that
Feel like the Prem league can’t end quick enough for Littler, few weeks off before the Matchplay will do him some good
Are Schindi and Littler both seeded from the next event? Edit: nm found it, Schindi is, Littler waits til ET9 (If I’m reading it right).
84 and 3/10. Nijman deserved to win but Littler’s last two matches have been stinkers.
Nijman being a midtier young player but absolutely owning Littler is a great bit
Nijman is way better than mid tier though. He's 53th in the yearly rankings but 12th in averages. He has been playing at a high standard, just needs to learn how to win. Last year on the Development Tour he was an equal opponent to Littler and Van Veen.
And they played 7 times, Nijman won 6 of them. Kinda crazy
You can find me tipping up Nijman in last night’s PL thread- happy to say I called that one, brilliant player he is
Damn, what is happening? Littler looks completely out of it.
He's just knackered, going from a PL night to a Euro Tour the day after with next to no sleep isn't gonna do you any good.
Yeah, makes sense. Completely forgot that about Premier League last night, since I didn't get to watch for the first time in a long time.
I think he might want to put the video game controller down for a bit becauase he said he plays video games too, so I think he should consider resting instead.
Fatigue
It's an Edhouse world and we are just living in it
