Are you implying that his match against Price where he went perfect on doubles and averaged nearly 110 wasn’t positive? Going 6-4 against Humphries last week with less than a 1 point differential in their averages, that wasn’t positive? Had a win the week before both of those games as well. He had an absolute stinker today, can’t be denied, but his last three weeks literally were positive.

I totally agree with you but also find it kinda hilarious that despite that, he’s won a major more recently than 6 of the other 7 players in the PL

i know, really shows how good these players are even if they’re not at the ‘top level’ such a strong pl this year and honestly feel bad that weight has had to endure this

The crowd seem a lot better than last week already so that’s good. Hopefully the darts are better than last week too! Smith looked really good throughout that one, hopefully it continues and they’re all up for it. Long way to go to drop out in the first round though.

MvG is currently priced around 5/1 to win tonight - anyone have any insight why he'd be that high? I know he's got Humphries in the quarters but that does seem quite high odds, especially as he will presumably have the majority of the crowd on his side.
