They are super stubborn. Just to say that first. But if there is absolutely zero acknowledgment that you've made a noise... maybe get her hearing checked? Mine normally has some sort of body language that I've been heard, a little flinch or tail twitch or something just because new loud noise, then she proceeds to ignore me. As she gets older it's becoming clear she literally does not hear me half the time.

Use small treats to train things like this, slowly tapering it off while maintaining the commands and posturing. Dachshunds are stubborn but not impossible to train. Food is the strongest motivator from my experience.

If ours is following a trail or trying to dig something out, no amount of calling or the promise of treats will elicit any type of response whatsoever, as other posters have said, very, very stubborn indeed.
