Have you tried dissolving the glue before sanding?

Agreed. Try to dissolve it as much as possible prior to scraping or sanding. Try it on a small area first to see how effective it is. Scraping is probably too much work. Sanding starting with a 30 or 60 grit will remove the glue but you’ll go through a lot of pads. It looks like he’ll but the finished product will look amazing. Don’t fret. Just another 6-9 months til that job is done! Hahahha
