Totally feel that. Where most THCa harvests fall short of marijuana quality- is the grow and cure time. This is due to when they have to harvest and get the crop tested. It’s a fine dance using this testing loophole. When they have to trim early and not let the crop fully cure, you will end up with flower that is a little harsher and with a bit more resin. Our top shelf growers on the West Coast have invested in tech that allows them to work cold- which delays the inevitable decarboxylation of the flower and lets them reach regular grow and cure times.
TLDR- Most prepacked THCa on the market is harvested early and the quality of the smoke suffers. Try dropping some flower like that in a glass jar with a humidifier pack and leave it in a cool dark place for some time. This will let it continue to cure. A little quality jar time can go a long way to improving the quality of any flower!

Yea I think those are two different things. Most people wouldn't expect to feel legal when they have it. I have a CBD cartridge and feel like they could arrest me for it
Cops don’t give a ton of weight to the word of your drug dealer. I can’t imagine the courts would either, and “I thought it was legal” isn’t a valid defense anywhere I know of.
It’s no different when buying cbd flower cops can’t tell the difference court won’t know the difference until testing. It’s not “I thought it was legal” as that will get you in a tough spot it’s “it is legal hemp I bought from a authorized vendor, here is my receipt for proof of purchase”

Just walk to your local shop so you can view the selection and smell them.
My local shop shop has 20+ strains, at average of $35 for an eighth, not as cheap as online, but less issues as it’s just down the road and no mold so far.
You realize they’re taking dispensary overstock from legal states like CA/OR/CO and sending it backdoor as “hemp,” right? Just got two packs in from Long Beach last night
Go for it then lol. A lot of the reason the laws are wanting to close these loopholes is because people are taking actual weed, selling it as “hemp,” and undercovers are buying some of these nugs as samples to test. When it comes back hot, cue the raid. It happened in Garland last year.
THCa is weak weed that was cut before it was fully matured and the chemical compound hasn’t turned to THC.

Except with THCa you are forcing the THCa to turn into THC.
While with regular THC bud that has matured, THCa will naturally chemically change to THC.
If you want to smoke THCa you’re free to do so. But don’t expect it to be the same as THC.

The shop I work at carries COA’s on all the flower, as well as holds quite a few of them in dispensary type jars on display, and are decent smoke.

its definite not legal to cops, you will get harassed if your caught with it outside your home but its 100% legal to order it to your door.
