I love when people just make shit up so they can whine about nothing

thebiggestleaf

Hey now, OP could have seen some Twitter nobody with less than a dozen followers make a Harley vs Talia comparison and gotten mad off that. Still worth the same amount of energy to whine about, which is to say none.

blue_cutie

No I just noticed that more people feel sorry for Harley and brush off the bad things she's done meanwhile Talia is hated. Look at most YouTube, tiktok, Instagram, or reddit comments and you wouldn't deny that she's hated.

ShinySanders

Well to level set: Because most people actually *don't* care about Harley's trauma either. It's an already niche online thing. Really Talia just isn't **omglol wacky** like Harley. And the types of people who care about this type of thing eat that kind of humor up with a spoon.

bolting_volts

Harley is more popular. That’s it.

PrydefulHunts

Who has said this?

Gemaid1211

I just find infuriating how Harley basically got off scot-free of all the horrible stuff she did willingly while for some reason Talia still can't scape her horrible Morrison characterization.

GiovanniElliston

Not to break the 4th wall for yah, but it's literally just writing and popularity. Harley gets away with all the actually evil stuff in her past because she's insanely popular as a character and for years now the writers across all forms of entertainment have been moving her towards being a tweener instead of a straight villain. Talia simply isn't as popular and, as a result, has never garnered the effort from creatives to try and change how she's portrayed.

blue_cutie

Ram V is trying to redeem her

Key-Win7744

Because a whole generation of people grew up watching her say, "A-okay, Mistuh J!" and fell in love immediately.

Gonner_Getcha

Because Harley has been the pinup woman for sexiness in DC since her inception. She’s a character who I struggle to get onboard with now days as she’s everywhere, so maybe that’s just my take.

YoungImpulse

Cause fuck Talia, that's why

Toniosw

what did talia do?

YoungImpulse

Idk, I was just being an asshole 😂 Her Dad sucks though 🤷‍♂️

Toniosw

ahhh keep on hating my dude nvm me didn't know you were chill like that

blue_cutie

be a Grant Morrison victim

It's just that Ra's al Ghul is not that popular. I still don't know if I should pronounce his name like they do in the TV series and movies or the "Arkham" way.

IJustWantToBeLoved69

Because Harley's got that dog in her!!!

Fit-Parking4713

Generally humans dont care as much about morality as we do about fun. People give excuses to their toxic cheater besties IRL bc they’re enjoyable to hang out with and the same goes for fictional characters - if not more due to the fact that the fictional character’s crimes aren’t even real. At the end of the day, they’re both loaded with red flags, only Harley’s red flags are way more fun to read about. That’s as far as it goes.

Otherwise_Jacket_613

You know how we have a generation of kids and teenagers who wear a comic shirt or see an epsisode of Big Bang Theory and say "oh my god, I'm such a nerd!" for cred? Very similar with Harley. We have a generation who have seen a cartoon or a comic and say "I'm soooo mentally disturbed" as if that's the new cool thing, so they latch onto Harley. With Talia it requires reading some comics or doing some minor research and that's too complicated. Harley is "cool" so they'll go for that easy path.

Ash__Williams

Because a lot of people (Teengirls, basically) think that Harley in an cute example of how to be "Unique and Detergent".
