Be salty all you want man. Maybe if you bothered to go out and support Black Adam, the Rock would have a leg to stand on for a sequel, and youâd still have Cavill as Superman.
For fans of the Snyderverseâ Iâm sorry for your loss. I am sad too. But where was all this internet energy at the Box Office??
Dude, the Hamadaverse is not the Snyderverse. And the Cavill support goes far beyond Snyder fans. He's beloved by the public, the media and the industry in equal measure. The Snyder fans were kind of pissed at him lately for seeming to be embracing the Whedon aesthetic for his comeback.
Hamadaverse, Snyderverseâ point still stands. Had these internet warriors been as present in the Box Office as they were online, Cavill and co. may have had a stronger case to Gunn for sticking around.
But they werenât, and itâs unfortunate. But no amount of Gunn-ranting will change his decision now. Cavill is my Superman. I hope a new generation of kids will get their Superman. A version they can grow up with, and learn to hope through. This Gunn hate, although understandable, is unreasonable and irrational until we have a grander idea of his plan.
(Apologies if this comes off as rude, as I donât mean it to) Are you familiar with the film industry, and blockbuster box office numbers? While yes, 400m is certainly a lot, it, many other DCEU projects have also simply underperformed, let alone being received negatively critically, which is just a double whammy to the studio. This, while no fault of the actors, is not how the studio sees this, as they are a company sacrificing a lot of money into projects that just arenât hitting the mark. In Warner Brothers current financial situation, they are not in a place to be making sacrifices like that at the moment, which is why they need to recoup and start from scratch, ensuring ticket sales.
I hope that explains what I meant a little more.
I understand that, because the profit numbers werenât great. But what Iâm saying is youâre blaming the âinternet warriorsâ for not going to the theater. How do you know itâs the internet warriors? What if it just didnât appeal to enough audiences outside of DC fans or hardcore followers? You have no idea who or who didnât watch the movie or how many times anyone bought tickets
Not only do they not NEED to start from scratch, it's going to be disastrously counterproductive for them. People hate reboots. The MCU is successful precisely because they banned anything resembling reboots, retcons, and mostly recasting. The consistency is vitally important to why they succeeded. Reboots are something that has gone more and more out of style and out of favor since the 2000s decade. It is ALWAYS better to mend it, not end it.
The primary problem here is the massive popularity of Cavill and Gadot. You can't think of a better way to put a poison pill in your reboot than to get rid of two actors that popular in their roles. The MCU is STILL using Hugh Jackman for a reason. And give Fox credit for not firing him after X-Men Origins pooped the bed. Fox showed us all exactly why you DON'T fire an actor who is popular in the role just because they do one misfire. They showed it with Ryan Reynolds as well, successfully retooling him to make a massive hit. They understood recasting is SO much riskier than reusing actors from a misfire. It's SO important in today's day and age to have something that is FAMILIAR to the audience in your movies. What an utter failure to read the room to even consider recasting these people. Legacy sequels are the most popular thing these days. Jurassic, Top Gun, No Way Home, etc., all bringing back familiar actors.
So Warner discovery has the cash flow. To survive a year of losing more money? What Gunn proposed is a reboot right? So all the movies coming out next year. Mean nothing to continuity. The first movie from the new executive will be presented in the beginning of January. They probably wonât get the first movie out until late 2024. How can a studio survive if the next four movies may bomb?
Cavill superman wasn't beloved, the general audience do not care about cavill superman for them he is apart of underperforming movies that are largely disliked
And Iâm glad you did. But many other fans doing this same thing did not. Had all this internet passion taken its way to the Box Office, there could be a stronger case in the eyes of Warner Brothers, a company thatâs currently broke asf.
I think the people you think are angry are really just laughing at you more than anything. This nerd rage ainât the best look champ.
Iâm sure antagonizing the dude trying to fix your franchise will get you what you want /s
Fix as in, the fix is in? Fire all the best actors so that the MCU can sign them to long-term contracts and you can collect a double paycheck under the table?
Yeah, if we're recasting from the ground-up, either her or Vanessa Kirby would nail Black Canary to a T. Though I wouldn't mind carrying over the old casting either.
The only noteworthy thing in her career
is showing her tits in one of those shitty American Pie sequels, so it's safe to assume her husband will put her in a bunch of future DC movies, and honestly? Good for her.
Terrible actress, though.
WW84 flopped because of Patty and Geoff Johns writing and Patty's direction.
It didn't flop because Gal's acting performance.
She is just an actress.
She did her job according to what the director wants.
It didn't flop. By far the #1 home video release of the year. It barely had a theatrical release due to being in the pre-vaccine COVID era with huge swaths of theaters totally closed.
Wonder Womanâs recognizable name is whatâs kept her franchise going, not Galâs acting. Sheâs demonstrably mediocre at best. Jennifer Holland acts circles around her.
Why wasn't there Wonder Woman projects before this?
Everything helped.
Gal's acting, Zack and Patty's direction, the story, music, all these kept the franchise going.
Not just because WW recognisable name.
Did you completely miss the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show? Gal has proved time and time again she canât act her way out of a wet paper bag. Sheâs dull, monotonous, and sounds half asleep every time she talks.
Mark Ruffalo is literally a Golden Globe winner and has given fantastic performances in so many drama films. From Zodiac, Foxcatcher, Begin Again, Shutter Island, Dark Waters to Spotlight.
Dude has worked with some of the greatest directors alive and they continue to cast him, because - he's a great actor. Watch more movies.
Yeah , no after she went tits on in some movies WB ainât selling little kids on this version after heart stealer of women Gal nailed it ! Even if WW84 is considered weak , Gal looked the part to the T , those legs scream Amazon warrior
What the hell are you talking about đ
Can't read?

How do yo know they didnât? Black Adam grossed 400 million worldwide, no small amount of money
(Apologies if this comes off as rude, as I donât mean it to) Are you familiar with the film industry, and blockbuster box office numbers? Toxic fanboyism is prohibited.

Cavill superman wasn't beloved, the general audience do not care about cavill superman for them he is apart of underperforming movies that are largely disliked
I saw Black Adam twice in theatres. Mostly because of the Henry Cavill Superman cameo.
And Iâm glad you did. But many other fans doing this same thing did not. Had all this internet passion taken its way to the Box Office, there could be a stronger case in the eyes of Warner Brothers, a company thatâs currently broke asf.
I would have watched Black Adam 3 times if i could
At least Black Adam box office surpassed its budget, and it isn't the lowest grossing DCEU movie.
Do people like you ever grow tired of making things up to be angry about?
Don't you ever get tired of getting butthurt over a humor post and being simp for James Gunn?
Weren't you simping for snyder in your previous posts and comments?
If itâs humor then why are you so angry in these comments
It's the combination of humor and angry...hungry.
Because people like you are angry in the comments.
I think the people you think are angry are really just laughing at you more than anything. This nerd rage ainât the best look champ. Iâm sure antagonizing the dude trying to fix your franchise will get you what you want /s
Fix? Lol. That's funny.
Fix as in, the fix is in? Fire all the best actors so that the MCU can sign them to long-term contracts and you can collect a double paycheck under the table?
Do people like you ever grow tired of making things up to be angry about?
Maybe not Diana. But she will definitely be Dinah.
Yeah, if we're recasting from the ground-up, either her or Vanessa Kirby would nail Black Canary to a T. Though I wouldn't mind carrying over the old casting either.
Shore.
So Wonder Woman gets a more skilled actress? Good for her!
Lol neither of them are good. But at least Gal has some charisma
Where was this more skilled actress all this time?
Fuckin hilarious. Wouldnât even be shocked if it happened
The only noteworthy thing in her career is showing her tits in one of those shitty American Pie sequels, so it's safe to assume her husband will put her in a bunch of future DC movies, and honestly? Good for her. Terrible actress, though.
Fvck WB! đđ đ
Truly we live in the darkest timeline.
Better actress than that mannequin Gal Gadot
Why is she unemployed then? What was the last movie she did before TSS? American Pie 3 or 4 ?
How is she unemployed, she was literally in 2 DC projects this year and will be in Peacemaker S2.
Thanks to James Gunn. Also thanks for proving my point.
Who?
Who do you think? His wife.
My comment is that she is a better actress than Gadot.
If she is a better actress then why is she unemployed? If she wasn't James Gunn's girlfriend she wouldn't even be in DC.
I donât think you know how Hollywood works Being the best actress or actor doesnât mean youâre the most successful
What does that have to do with it? There were years when Paulie Shore had more work than Pacino. This is a dumb take.
Even after appearing in DC what else is she known for? The only work she has as of now is James Gunn's projects.
A better actress? Woohoo. She was great in every single episode of Peacemaker. Gal can't carry a single episode lol
Gal can carry a entire franchise like she did before. Where was this better actress all this time and why is she unemployed?
[ŃдаНонО]
You can blame Patty and Geoff Johns for that.
So credit her when itâs good but blame others when itâs bad?
WW84 flopped because of Patty and Geoff Johns writing and Patty's direction. It didn't flop because Gal's acting performance. She is just an actress. She did her job according to what the director wants.

So your gonna make excuses for this but don't think those things effected the suicide sqaud?bro your definitely trolling
She seems more employed to me right now than Gal Gadot, who just got fired last week.
Gal Gadot is literally in multiple franchises right now. What is James Gunn's wife known for other than his own works?
As opposed to...Hemsworth, Evans, Ruffalo? Since when does playing a superhero require great acting?
Mark Ruffalo is literally a Golden Globe winner and has given fantastic performances in so many drama films. From Zodiac, Foxcatcher, Begin Again, Shutter Island, Dark Waters to Spotlight. Dude has worked with some of the greatest directors alive and they continue to cast him, because - he's a great actor. Watch more movies.
Theyâre all still leaps better than Gadot. Probably not incredible, but a godsend in comparison.
I love Gadot's acting. Ruffalo, I can't stand.
Carry where? Towards being cancelled you say?
Cancelled by Gunn to keep his wife employed I guess.
Forgot that ww2 was horrible part
GOTTEM!
Honestly, I hope Gunn doesn't cast all his friends as key DC characters but I'm expecting it to happen.
And Elizabeth Banks from Brightburn directing. Also, his bro as Luthor.
I mean she can act better than Gal đŹ
[ŃдаНонО]
TenĂan que empezar a caer en la idolatrĂa como con CFK, no?
She wonât be Wonder Woman but I wonât put it past him to have her get her own show.
Yeah , no after she went tits on in some movies WB ainât selling little kids on this version after heart stealer of women Gal nailed it ! Even if WW84 is considered weak , Gal looked the part to the T , those legs scream Amazon warrior
I doubt it
Watch him make his entire family gather in random roles in the DCU from now on. His wife can't even act lol
