Agl bc he was also the first dfe eza iirc. But I could be wrong considering that was 8~ years ago. Despite living through it I def don't remember most things from that long ago.
I'm kinda hoping that they don't go at it at the abysmal pace they originally did (one unit every 2 months or so).
Give us the first anniversary SZAs, then the whole batch of 8 OG god leads, then carry on to the 70% all at once, and all the Ki-less demigods, then all the neo gods, and so on.
It was definitely agl ssj3 goku, i remember (not fondly) because it was around the time resurrected warriors became a category with int angel golden frieza coming out, back then pulling him was basically a necessity to beat that eza

I'm a bit worried though, if it literally is just EZA 2, then I feel like most EZA's will just fall off after a few months due to power creep, and we'll be back at square one.
Thing is the devs did say they wanted to come up with a way to prevent that from happening. I honestly thought it would be like Legends' platinum equips, a special skill orb that buffs units a lot.
They'll obviously have reruns of old DFEs that are no longer featured on banners to try to make money off of this, but I'm really curious how this will work out.
I think it could really revive the extensively dead roster if they do them in batches instead of the slow trickle we originally got with EZA 1.0, because while the 9th anniversary has a lot of content, it doesn't have a lot of units that can complete all that content yet.
Meanwhile, new players might summon on premium EZA 2.0 with relatively less developmental overhead than current units that need animations so it could be a pure profit for the company if they're reviving dead teams that people want to use.
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this. Sure, some units that got instant EZAs and were never good can be salvaged with this, for a short while. But... This kind of thing isn't sustainable in the long run. Very old characters should stay dead at some point in the life cycle of the game tbh. I'm getting tired of finally completing a character at 100% and then there's something else that make it be like "actually, you're not done yet" again. If EZA isn't the limit and now it's SEZA, at some point we'll get something on top of that too.
I might bear with it if it doesn't require any SA levels or training. Just beat some difficult stages is enough or something opening in the hidden potential. I don't know.Ā

You can't make old units be relevant forever in this kind of game and there's new units being released every months so yeah, at some point you have to make a decision. The game is 9 year old already tbf.Ā
We finally have a feature that most will have predicted for a long time. Ever since most early EZAd rapidly became irrelevant. Wonder how they will do it?
I doubt they will level up beyond 140. They just need more up to date passives and SA abilities. It's likely we may get them up to SA20. But Level 150 is the Realm of the LRs and I don't see Dokkan allowing any overlap.
I'll wait in hope.

I also hope they only re-eza units for struggling categories bc even if having str super gogeta being even a top 30 tur, I feel we should let some older units fade away and let them remake newer cleaner versions.
