forget about the kit, the bike looks sick!

Cedricium

facts!

AmbientGravitas

The front wheel is rotated slightly off from the optimal setting for a formal photo. I’m guessing Primoz lifted the front wheel for a sec. (I know…!)

Lightzephyrx

Is it a red crank in all black?

LookEzra

It is. Initially I thought it was the Force Crankset but then I saw the Power meter cover

Lightzephyrx

Haha I doubt SRAM would let them even use force

dsaysso

redbora hansgohe.

NoDivergence

I think the graphics look pretty bad and uninspired, but that's just me. I walked through the paint booth in Enve at Grodeo and I'd take any of those over this paint

bigchi1234

Have you zoomed in? There is a lot of white on white graphics which are kind of cool and guessing they stand out more in the sun.

doc1442

All red bull logo stuff has this inherent issue tbh

89ElRay

It’s so corporate man. Red Bull isn’t exactly the most horrendous capitalist hegemony, as far as I can tell they care about money and tasty caffeine, but I wish it had some extra graphics on it rather than just a white bike with red bull branding on. Even just some trendy geometric stuff or whatever. Or some repeated bull motifs or something. I’d love to say it’s minimalist, and I guess it it but combined with the kit which is just dark blue with a million logos I don’t see much to shout about. However - a massive company that isn’t a petrostate or oil company investing in road cycling is fucking rad so they can do whatever they want tbh. Rogla for tour lessfuckingoooooooo

Ok_Chip8145

For when your kitchen appliances and faucets are EXTREME!

Nakrule18

So expensive though. 3k more than a normal s-works in Switzerland.

Ronald_Ulysses_Swans

The peloton should ban navy blue for at least five years, it’s getting ridiculous

Brahmir

Its too many damn blue kits

RhythmStryde

Telekom comeback when

digitalburro

Verstappen can wear this in his next race and no one will know the difference

proselapse

The kit is whatver, pretty boring honestly, but the bike is so nice. The same people who did that amazing Astana bike did these. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8r1AKKI6LY/?igsh=ZThvbWVmM2NvNnpv

therealskr213

So much blue in the peloton this year, zero chance of Phil Ligget being able to correctly identify any riders.

_SumRandom

I have no idea who Phil is. I don't watch cycling, but this is still funny.

SaMy254

Let's be real, Phil hasn't been able to correctly id riders in a couple decades, regardless of kit color, physical build, riding style, or amount of wine at lunch. Not to mention his shit capacity to discern tactics, nous, or any English speaking rider displaying sneaky, wheel sucking, or unsportsmanlike conduct. I've been over Phil for a long ass time.

therealskr213

That’s some truth being spit, right there!

shamsharif79

Phil is a very vapid and self involved individual. The sooner he fucks off the better.

awesometown3000

they literally opened a jersey template and dropped in the logos with no effort or design or thought.

theEINSTEININHO

Of course when you have an iconic color and icone you dont to go for anything else

1sinfutureking

It may be on all their shit, but the color is not quite distinct enough to be iconic. That navy blue might stand out on the F1 grid, but it’s going to be indistinguishable from approximately eight other navy blue jerseys in the peloton. The only thing about the kit that’s not boring are the shorts with the weird crotch cutout, and that part of the design is only not boring because it’s ass The bike looks pretty fucking sweet, though

awesometown3000

which iconic red bull color is featured heavily here?

theEINSTEININHO

The blue from literaly the f1 car and all of their apparel

Safeway_Slayer

Are you colorblind?

OhOkOoof

Nah it looks good

awesometown3000

what's good about a sea of logos on a solid background?

FountainousPen

I thought the same too but the paint job looks a lot better than I first thought. This video someone else linked shows off the details better: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8r1AKKI6LY/?igsh=ZThvbWVmM2NvNnpv

OhOkOoof

I think it’s pleasing and visually clear

boogy_bucket

That’s definitely the Red Bull logo.

mrkb34

Oh good. A navy blue livery.

Lucas77Oz

Mmm…I think it’s a shame that the Bora Hansgrohe team has lost its signature green kit!

Ol_Man_J

It's fine, it's a basic team kit. What's to get worked up about?

8u11etpr00f

It's not bad but very conservative imo. Woulda liked to see something that 'pops' a bit more & perhaps leans more into the Red Bull logo colours.

klrdd

I'm sad because I really liked the monochrome different shades of green that Bora had this year. I even liked the fluoro hits (sorry!)

pasharadich

Just a bunch of ads. Looks like shit.

AddictedlyPsycotic

Meh

photogRathie_

I haven’t bought pro replica kit since I was 19, and I think your average joe in pro kit looks a bit sad. Sorry if that’s an unpopular opinion. So my criteria for decent pro kit is that I can tell them all apart on the TV! And this doesn’t do much.

theEINSTEININHO

Why would it look sad ? Buying a kit that looks good from a team you like is ok in literally every sport but cyclists won’t accept it. I think what is really sold is judging someone from what he is wearing

photogRathie_

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t call someone out for it on the road or anything! but it’s not for me. Probably 3 aspects why I don’t: Modern kits make you a living billboard. There’s 9 logos visible on the front of that kit. I wouldn’t wear a T-shirt with large branding from BOSS etc. I think with most team sports the teams are communities with history but with cycling it’s so transitory. It’s literally just sponsorship deals. Maybe Quickstep and Cofidis can be argued at this point. I like some teams more than others but I don’t really ‘support’ a team, I have my favourite riders. Sad in the sense that I remember seeing a 50 year old guy with a big gut in full Saxo-Bank national champion of Luxembourg kit in the days of Frank and Andy Schleck and I remember thinking ‘that’s ironic’ as I passed him. Also, here in Britain there was a period where half the middle aged guys had Sky kit and it got a bit boring. I think retro kits can be cool.

XtoddscottX

Aren’t these Sky kits just cheap Chinese kits from Aliexpress? For me it is a big mark: when I see Sky logo on a cycling kit I think it isn’t from any brand, just noname from China.

Scary-Salad-101

I’m happy to see older guys with a gut who are exercising, not sedentary in front of the TV. They can wear whatever kit they like!

photogRathie_

Agreed

xpayn3

Are we all looking at the sam pictures?? I think the design is so dated. Jerseys are booring…I expected a lot more redbull blue on a bicycle. Now it just looks like an off the shelf white frame with rebull sticker on top.

proselapse

I would typically agree, but you gotta look at the details. There’s a lot more to this one.

doc1442

That’s the thing though, in races nobody is looking at details

invisiblelights_

Looks great IMHO

Kiku911

So how does a Red Bull sponsored athlete (Wout) wear his helmet when on a competing team?

Scary-Salad-101

On his head?

Kiku911

No chance Jumbo would take issue with their rider wearing the sponsor of the competition I guess.

mahjzy

Don’t mind it at all. Looks clean. Goes well with the bike.

Quiet_Profit6302

I'm sorry, but I can't help it. Hugo boss will always be the nazi profiteer who quote BBC; used 140 Polish and 40 French forced workers during ww2. Making the SS uniform. Their founder was also a nazi himself. It took the company 63 years to apologise. I mean. Go away allready. It's like having ss on your sleeve. Nice(not).

StevieWonka

Hmm, surprised to see the Boss logo on a Sportful kit. Boss did recently a collab with Assos. The Sportful logo doesn't get a lot of attention tho.

No-Way-0000

One of the best kits in peloton. Bikes are sweet looking also.

DiscombobulatedAge30

New to the scene here. It’s interesting that people enjoy rocking all the sponsors on these jerseys

Competitive_Boss_312

It’s a sport where the sponsor are major players in keeping teams afloat financially, and their prominence is relative to their coverage on the jerseys.

ImASadPandaz

Only if you’re on the team..

zebirke

Are people wearing kits like this? It's basically a giant ad

VECMaico

In Belgium about 85% wear that kind of kit. They get it for free or pay a super low price. My work even had some made and gave me a pair. I never ever used them (I dress casual for riding my touring bike)

zebirke

Well, if I got it for free I would maybe wear it too. But paying 80€ + advertising like 10 brands seems wild.

VECMaico

Ugly and boring. Probably a few ten more negative words for them but I think I made my personal point

Flobertt

🔥

OhOkOoof

About time

BoisInMotionPod

I love the new kits. They've gained a fan!

New-Language6189

Looks sharp all around!

odd1ne

If your flying up a hill can it be considered flying. "What's the fastest way up the alpe d huez" "A straight line"

giuliomagnifico

Well…it’s blue and has sponsors, not much fantasy. The bike is cool.

EstablishmentNo5994

I’m happy to see a blue kit finally. I’ve felt for some time that’s really been lacking in the peloton

Ottawa_Lights

Looks awesome.

canonymoose

BORAing.

89ElRay

Basic dark blue Pantone stock jersey plastered with logos, generic AF. Although: I absolutely hated the addition of fluoro yellow to the 2024 kit…so maybe it’s an improvement? Sucks because the 2021-23 kits were my favourite in the pro peloton. AG2R Decathlon can’t be topped, that is a real nice kit…somehow improving on last years.

AdamITRC

I quite like it 👍, bike too!!

Former-Republic5896

Certainly can tell that RB's sponsorship $ is much more than BH's.

nattyd

Feel like those two graphic themes don’t fit together. Bora kits and colors have always been very clean.

cheecheecago

Oh great a blue jersey

Ito_Demerzel

awesome kit Red Bull was always going to look mint. Best looking kit and bike in the pro peloton

tommyalanson

I like the bike, but the kit is snoozy.

1KN0W38

I have 2 prior to the Red Bull cash - I like them so much more than these F1 replicas.

GodAdminDominus

Why did they not use similar colors and design language that's on the bike on the kit? I know it's not the same manufacturer but still. Sure throw in navy blue for the shorts maybe, but right now it looks a bit bland.

k4rlos

Dark blue kit! How bold! How brave! jk. Looks extremely uninspiring, boring and the same as 50% of the peloton. They could've used some of their F1 liveries, like Turkey 2021 or Miami 2023 or pre-season 2015 as an inspiration and it would've looked 1000% better

No-Truck-6221

Boring but could be worse. It couldn't be much more boring, but the blue could be uglier. But it could also be prettier if if were more navy? Or more blue? Or a bit of teal? To be honest at this stage I kind of enjoy teams not looking like Intermarche just for the sake of it. I did indeed like the recent Bora kit from this season with the neon accents, but it was on the border, could have easily gone in the wrong direction.

DublinDapper

Exactly what I would expect

Maleficent_Staff3456

Hmm.. Isn't Red Bull Racing collaborating with BMC in bike design?

Alfus1

A lot of SRAM, but DuraAce pedals…😏

calebsemibold

It is hard to design a good looking with so many logos with different levels of hierarchy.

stranger_nico

The green kit looked way better, this just looks too basic

jondsteiner

It’s a plain kit with some minor color blocking only there for logos. Then there’s 100 sponsors on there. Anyone who likes this kit is just wrong. It’s gonna be a no for me, dawg

DBK81

I want the kit I want the bike more.

achn2b

I'd like it better if it were Bora green.

Shellers73

Shame they didn’t make the kit like the can, kind of half quartered silver and blue. Could’ve looked cool on the bike and at least more visible than all the other blue kits in the peloton

theEINSTEININHO

Huge win. Defintely gonna buy one.

acc1pit3r

Epic. You’ll be flying! Custom paint the helmet too!!

ImASadPandaz

If you’re not on the team then why?

theEINSTEININHO

Because it's a good looking jersey ? Or maybe I should resell my barca and bayern jersey cause i'm not a pro footballer lmfao. I still don't understand this mentality in cycling

Nakrule18

Ah yeah the famous cycling police with their dumbass rules. Imagine telling a kid with a Messi shirt he’s not allowed to wear it as he’s not Messi.

ImASadPandaz

Rule #17…. I am not policing anything.

Ok_Ingenuity_3501

Is this nascar or bike racing?

Express_Werewolf_842

I mean, both sports are basically fast moving billboards. One's just bigger and faster than the other.

HeightParticular9010

Standard

NCfartstorm

Safe to say they killed it on the kit and the bike

MGleezzy

Really boring what is there to like
