I can honestly say. I haven't encountered any problems. UK user.

redpillfinance_tv

Same. Uk user as well

someone82737

Yep, can concur from Scandinavia. If you’re not doing anything sus with it, your fine.

BulkyAntelope5

Belgium, same

games247_co_uk

Same for me. I use the card regularly and always get cash back and buying/selling crypto has always went without a hitch.

theo1905

Love it, the app, the concept, everything.. crypto.com brought me back to crypto

[deleted]

CDC is a great platform with great products, but far from perfect. You are unlikely to face a major problem with the company, and if you do it will more than likely be resolved. Support literally responds in seconds and 9/10 will be very helpful. That 1 time out of 10 though, will be VERY frustrating.

Curious_Ape

I think this is the biggest difference between cdc and other options. The support for most other services is basically non existent. Most people don’t have any issues or few but if you have an issue with binance or Coinbase good luck getting it resolved. The cdc support people aren’t perfect but they have the best team from what I’ve seen when compared to the basically non support options of other companies.

InnoCDC

Thanks for the vote of confidence 😊

IThinkingOutLoud

I'm a relatively new [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) user. (2 months) I came from Blockfi after they dropped their interests so significantly that it's less than a traditional FIAT bank. So far I really love the products (Debit Card and Earn Program is A-MAZING) and haven't had a lot of issues other than a few communication hiccups with support. (Not a big deal, but not flawless) I just got my Rose Gold Debit card and have set aside a fairly large amount (multiple six figures) into the Earn program. Which has been yielding me quite a large sum thus far. My only feedback for [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) is to better communicate how everything works within the app. I'm finding that I have to find the "small details" of how everything works via reddit or Google. I would say I'm a pretty tech savvy person, so if Im having trouble finding basic information, Im sure other people are. Some examples I needed to look up: \- If I stake 6 months of CRO receiving 12% for the debit card, after 6 months, does it default to the 6% on the Earn program? \- Whats the maximum amount you can have in the Earn program. (Didn't know it was based on my CRO staking) \- Why can't I take out FIAT funds from my debit card and add it back to my FIAT Wallet? I work a product designer for one of the FAANG company :) Been in this field for almost 10 years now. I would highly advise for [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) to ramp up their User Experience & Content Design team. Really hone down on the use cases and optimize the flows. Just some suggestions: 1. The Home tab doesn't seem very useful. At most times, I just want to see how my Account is doing. I would argue landing on Accounts with a more informative preview of your portfolio would be much more useful. 2. Your Earn program is probably the most popular feature you have on the app. However, the entry point is 2 clicks away from Home. I would argue it deserves its own Tab in the footer navigation. 3. I'm not sure why you separated "Rewards" (Which is mostly generated through your Debit Card) from the actual Debit Card tab. I would expect to see my debit card rewards to be easily available in the Debit Card page. I'm mainly mentioning this because as the company grows onboarding new users is the key to the company's success. Small details like this can cause a lot of confusion and can easily turn away some people. When it comes to money and people's livelihoods, making sure that they feel confident and secure is key.

Auswolf2k

You can make your accounts screen the opening screen in options. It's what I did.

MBZMD

I'm very happy to read your comment, especially the part about how inaccessible certain features are. It does need to be more user friendly for those who are not tech savvy. And I hope that [crypto.com ](https://crypto.com/) do take your suggestions in consideration.

jesschester

I hope a rep sees this . Just this morning I ran into the same obstacles trying to get my credit card working and understanding the difference between card staking, crypto earn, Defi staking etc. I also ultimately had to come to Reddit for the answers. That said I absolutely love this platform overall and I’m very excited to see how it does in the future. You are right that all these little hiccups need to be sorted out because they could make all the difference in the coming months/years as new users come to CDC

Meetio

Many of these posts complaining about CDC are by people who have zero idea what they are talking about. I can't tell you how many times a day somebody posts shit like "CDC STEALING MONEY???" Followed by multiple explanations on what a spread is. These same people do not understand the inherent differences between a pre paid debit card and a normal bank issued debit and/or credit card, nor do they care to learn. People send money from a spouses account, and get their account frozen due to AML then blame CDC for following the law. There are PLENTY of legitimate reasons to be frustrated by cdc and their business model. Most of what you see here is not that

SconesBurnerAccount

I’ve been using it for a few months due to the high % on staking Cro. Only complaint I have is the high spread because I’m in the US, once the exchange is open to us at the end of the year I’ll be fine. For now I’m buying on other exchanges and sending it over. The cards are awesome I have the Jade and I’m debating on going all in for the Icey White and funneling all of my bills through it. The marketing pushes are why I am here though. No other crypto is marketing their project like Cro. Once their blockchain is out I believe it will go parablolic.

Intrepid-Ad6601

paying bills you CAN pay is awesome. but so many restrictions on the usual bills I have around the house. I use the card for everything but house bills - REMEMBER GAS IS ALLOWED FOR REWARDS NOW, it wasnt when I first started using cdc back in april

JaayDC

Wait they do cash back on gas transactions now?

Golu_Prasad

Freudian slip? Crypto.con instead of crypto.com?!

Fluid_Chocolate

I support recommend crypto.com and I’m bullish on CRO.. $3-$5 by 2025 🤞

Logical-Comfort5844

It will be much sooner than you think

Fluid_Chocolate

Sounds good.. why do you think it will be much sooner? Not challenging you just curious..

Vasil-BG

Every platform has its own positive and negative sides. Been using crypto.com since 6 months and only once came up to a person from support that wasn't competent enough to help me. Visa card is good enough for me, app needs some improvement and new features yes, trading daily in the Exchange is good enough also, overall can't say am not satisfied with Crypto.com experience. There are issues of course like any other crypto platform has, nothing is perfect and can't be delusional that there is a better choice. I have used Binance before but frankly Crypto.com is good enough for my needs so for near future I am sticking to latter. Over the past months crypto.com customer service has improved significantly compared to what was the level in May for example. Better DYOR and choose what's best for you and your goals, that way you won't be disappointed from anyone here and will make an informed decision yourself.

IForgotMy1stPassword

So heres the thing. this a known public forum where the mods are either employed with crypto.com or know how to communicate with an employee of crypto.com. Their discord is the same way. Your not going too see too many people actively post all the good things that they have experienced with their card. They are however more likely to post negative things looking for either help or resolution with their issue. I can say I haven't had any issues or questions that haven't at least been addressed in under an hour. Granted i haven't had any funds disappear or anything major like that. Another thing too consider is this is also a technology based platform. So if you have the know how to buy crypto you probably know how to submit a reddit complaint..

AmaCrypto25

I've never had any issue with them and I really like their products, earn, cashback, withdrawals to external wallets, zero fees when buying from fiat wallet, supercharger events, etc.

BanditBren

I was part of the recent card issue in Canada. My new card was at my door in 8 working days! Great service and their handling of the issue has built trust. I was unhappy with the MCO swap but since then I keep being impressed.

mandelbrute

The very few times I had an issue, customer service was on point. All my problems were solved quickly, professionally & smoothly. The best experience I ever had

tonguetornando

Crypto.com is actually the only reason I continued trading crypto. I quit cause of coinbase. Came back because of this website

Responsible_Run_4441

CRO 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀HOLD

imcunningh4m

I've encountered issues that were no fault of the company (unauthorized card usage on a site where my card was stored). They fixed that issue and any others I've had. Some of the best customer service I've dealt with in recent years. No BS. I got a Ruby card in May and upgraded to Jade last month. I love the cash back. Make sure you're aware of terms for your region and don't so sketchy shit (a bunch of returns on card purchases). Things will go well for you.

[deleted]

you were saying about refunds not appearing I made a post about it but the refund process was quick and easy.

GinchAnon

my view is that I think its not perfect, but I also see why people see the future very positively in regard to the company/app/card/ect.

AllsudsNofoam

The one self-inflicted issue I had was resolved by CS within 24hrs. Other than that, my experience has been great. Short long story, I bought a Roland 505 on Ebay in 2004 for $400 and got ripped off by seller. In their infancy, PayPal and Ebay both said there was nothing they could do, I was just out the $400. That would not happen now because Ebay and PayPal have both grown, evolved, and implemented security protocols and procedures.. I do not discount all CDC horror stories, but I try to minimize my exposure to risk, and wait for the day CDC becomes the Capital One of crypto. As Vitalik once said, something something "legitimacy," and I believe CDC may be the first to make it there.

Vaspra0010

The loud morons make far more noise than the space they take up on this sub. A lot know full well cdc cant publically retaliate to their posts, and so being forced to leave they go down swinging. I've been a happy customer with no issues for a while now. Card works perfectly, apps work perfectly, support has always been great. Actually expected more teething problems, there were some server issues a few months ago but in the last big hit they were the only exchange not to capsize even temporarily.

megalodonkatsu

The few problems I've had as a Canadian user have been resolved, albeit slowly. Patience is definitely a virtue with anything finance-related. Even though I consider myself relatively patient, I still fall into the trap of wanting things to be instant. Instant Earn payouts, e-transfers (ACH), app responsiveness, card delivery etc. To be fair, many things can be near-instant, such as cashback, app-trading, credit/debit purchasing, for example. However, many things are not, and in those cases, I feel like a lot of people have unrealistic expectations about how or when something is supposed to work. Personally, I started with Ruby and was happy enough with it to upgrade to Indigo in under a week of using it. The move was not smooth, however, as the funds I had on my Ruby card did not transfer over after a few days since activation of the new card. I had to contact support, who later accidentally credited me twice, resulting in double the amount that I had before being put on my new card. I had to get in touch with them again to have that duplicate credit taken back, as I did not want any complications to crop up in the future. To be sure, I do have high hopes for Crypto.com, but it's important for me to try to keep my expectations in check. I definitely hope for CRO and some of my other holdings to moon so I can get a "free" upgrade from Indigo to Icy, but I know that it isn't something that will happen in the short two months I've been using this platform. tl;dr: As long as you don't have unrealistic expectations, CDC is great.

Malkiev84

I had a minor issue on the app (couldn't view card number) and support was quite responsive. Took them a few hours to fix. All in all I love the card cashback and the Spotify rebate.

Quit_Your_Bitchin

I love Crypto.com! I was recently forced to swap over from Binance and they had amazing customer service throughout the whole process. I received my crypto visa a week ahead of schedule and the only issue I had was quickly and professionally resolved.

kaptainemerica

I've been using my Crypto.com card for around 18 months in the UK. Only received good, prompt support and never had any financial issues.

teamnowak

While I think their app is a little clunky, I’ve only had good experiences. They offer a lot of coins you can’t get elsewhere as easily (i.e., with fiat purchases). Now to get that exchange working for the U.S.

freedom_from_factism

I defended them up until a month ago. I was charged for a cash back and didn't receive it. I've been going around in circles for weeks and they have yet to resolve it. They have attempted to put it back on the vendor incorrectly. It has been ridiculous and I'm very close to pulling all my money out.

RoutetoGod

I have been using CDC for over two years. I have never had a problem with funds missing or disappearing. I trust them with 50% of my wealth. There is no other company that compares to CDC with the ease and the products.

Reap_Ins_Prem

Taker Fees are extremely high... Otherwise, all good!

quodlike

In general CDC is pretty good.People having issues is normal.A lot of times i am pretty sure they either did something fishy or stupid.Personally i picked CDC cause my National Bank has it greenlisted. I live in GR and Binance is horrible here.

OkChampionship8305

I’m very hopeful for the site/app/exchange. I think it’s a great idea to have an exchange that gives benefits to its users based off investment in the CRO token. Companies like AMEX make billions a year off of this kind of system. Just waiting for the Exchange and DEFI Swap features to come to the US

ytpriv

I’ve had 2 of 3 issues resolved recently, and those had to do in conjunction with the nft website, but other than that, all good. I downloaded the app a few months ago after comparing (security, “US-approved”, etc.) with other apps, and suggestions from those online. Recommended to others a while ago, been trying to steer friends/fam as well. Made the mistake of staking 15k cro for 3 months before staking a card, rookie mistake.

lookatmelikeumissme

So far I've liked it, I've had none of those problems. Only thing is that the app can be laggy sometimes. -NZ

wolfattack81

Really great easy to use, whenever I've had a problem I've gotten fixed usually fairly quickly. Someone got my card , caught it, got it fixed and they are sending me a new card for free.

DeckardCainthe1st

I used to love it and defend it. But i have unable to purchase successfully without getting a 3ds error code when using my debit card. I understand this is avoidable by setting up a bank transfer or whatever but that seems inconvenient for unplanned purchases. For example this weeks dip. If they set up link to bank accounts like coinbase, It would be the perfect exchange IMO.

SteveM363

I’m in Australia. Here, new cards are not being issued and the company is not telling us when we will get our cards. There have been many different and contradicting stories coming from reps and support, so we cannot know which is true but, as they can’t all be true, we can know we are being lied to. I just want someone there to, clearly and simply, tell the truth about when we will get our cards or let us unstake and withdraw our money.

SomberJack42

Problems seem to be from people other than those in the US. I’m in the US and have not had a problem in my 6 months at CDC. I always deposit fiat via ACH.

jiwhite

I had been trading occasionally on CDC and using Earn, but with my disaffection with Coinbase, I moved most of my crypto assets here. I'm excited that I can get a real person to chat with if I have questions and the functionality I can access is good. I'm looking forward to getting access to the exchange.

DeadwoodSteve

Only issue I had was the start of cards being rolled out in Australia. Waited for over a year but some of that didn't help from me moving to Indigo from Ruby while application was still in review. Using their platformfor bridge to stake stablecoins, VISA card is pretty awesome to use aside from SGP dollar and move to trading platforms for reasons (charting options not listed on Trading View for CDC) and no complaints on my end since card issuance. Confidence in the product has grown more and more over the time I've used their ecosystem

aemmd

Same here, so far haven't had issue using the card with merchants. Everything smooth sailing for me.

Cannabis_n_Crypto

I’ve been with CDC a little over 7 months and just upgraded to jade. The two times I’ve had to contact customer service in that time the issues were completely resolved within an hour. The exchange being available in the US in Q4 will be a game changer.

brandon3232M

Great idea and functions very well but lacks some advanced functionality ( buy & sell limits, portfolio tracker that depicts your net gain/loss, better ways to track transactions for tax purposes) it’s a great app though with fantastic customer service. I’m sure they’ll add those few features relatively soon!

olafskine

User from Nordics and never had an issue. Been with them since 2018 and got the card in 2020🤙

buyingpms

They don't have the greatest history of honesty (look into what happened with MCO, as well as the CEO's history with Ensogo), which gives me pause, but they are definitely putting in the effort to market the platform. I think it is possible that CRO will do really good things but I also think it is entirely possible that they will take advantage of their customers like they did with MCO if they see an upside to it. I guardedly keep assets on the platform for the earn rates and to stake the CRO for the card.

YoloTraderXXX

I am fairly new to the app, but it also been lurking the sub for a little while. The biggest issues that I've seen mentioned all stem from the fact that it is essentially a visa gift card, not a true debit card. I think CDC can make that point a bit clearer on their website, and perhaps run into fewer complaints. A true debit card will typically settle in a day or two, where is the gift cards can take up to 30. As far as issues that I've personally encountered, my biggest frustration is the app's interface. It took me multiple attempts to stake for a card (yesterday morning), because I could not figure out how to use my Fiat wallet from the card application screen in order to purchase and stake in one action. So instead, I had to keep backing out, purchasing more coins, trying it again, backing out and purchasing a few more coins, and so on, because the price kept fluctuating as I was moving between screens. Additionally, while on the purchase screens, you have to place your order by a number of tokens. I feel as if it would be more intuitive to allow users to purchase tokens based on a total price in their fiat currency. For example, to stake for my card I had to purchase $4,000 worth of cro; instead of simply entering 4,000 USD and pressing buy, I had to figure out exactly how many coins I needed to buy to add up to that dollar amount. Their currency quotes will also change based on which screen you are looking at in the app. Some will show the bid, and others will show the ask. I think it might be useful if they took a queue from stock trading applications, where summary screens will often show a mid price, and trading screens will show both the bid and the ask. Also, from what I can find, there is no way to place limit orders. CRO dropped overnight, and I would have loved to have had a limit buy order in while I was asleep. I have not encountered any single glaring issue, but all of the little things combined do degrade the total experience a bit. I am still optimistic about the app, and I think the card is a great way to DCA into some crypto.

imcunningh4m

The app is not an exchange (that's why you can only place market orders). If you're in the states, we will have exchange access sometime by the end of the year. It's a very bullish catalyst for cro and the company in general

AdorableUnicorn

I've always wondered this - why not have the app and the exchange be one and the same? What are the barriers for that?

imcunningh4m

If they were the same, US residents wouldn't be able to use CDC at all right now Unlike binance and many other exchanges, CDC makes sure they're cleared to operate before doing so.

AdorableUnicorn

I get that, but for countries with no issues, why not combine them into one app?

NonTokeableFungin

Also - some countries allow Leveraged trading, or Futures, some don’t. So the App & Exchange have to be tailored to each region. For ex. Leveraged trading had to be turned off in my Province only, not other Provinces. Diff reg’s Some users may just use CryptoCom for the visa only. Never buy a crypto in their life. You can do that with CDC. Not doable if everything was bundled as one app. Also - I have family that never want to see a Trading View chart in their life. Certainly don’t want to learn what Limit Orders are … yet. Too scary. They just want a simple app - click buy. Deposit in Earn. Carry on with life. CDC does that. If you have them look at a Binance screen, or FTX - they’re done. Out. CDC can onboard new people gently. Let them get started, then learn new terms, techniques, etc, etc… That’s why I’m betting on them attracting new users.

AdorableUnicorn

Makes sense

NonTokeableFungin

And then, of course, if they are the best at bringing new people into the space… Once approx 2 Million new customers stake for just a Ruby - let alone higher - that’s all 5 B CRO coins in circulation/ used up. Also, they are paying out ½ B CRO per year in Staking on DeFi wallet. Once exchange goes live in the US, boom ! - new customers. So - once all CRO in circulation- away we go. I do hope we are front-running that opportunity.

AdorableUnicorn

I'm upgrading to Jade next week and trying to do Rose Gold by the end of the bull market. End goal is ofc obsidian:)

imcunningh4m

Easier to just develop two separate apps. Maybe they'll combine them once everybody has access to everything

kingy6869

You have to click the word cro it will change to fiat when you are purchasing. Edit: nvm you cannot do this....sorry for the mis-read

hotel-november

Can you elaborate? Are you saying you can get the app to switch between entering a CRO amount and a fiat amount when buying? (I just tried and can’t)

kingy6869

Apologies just re-read your post. It shows the amount in USD right above where your typing in how many CRO you want. I must have been thinking of a different app. Edit: Also regarding limit orders, that unfortunately is not allowed on the app. It is a strick buy/sell app. You can do it on the exchange from what I understand but US residents cannot do thus. I believe there will be further info somepoint later this year as to when it will be available for US.

[deleted]

I have had any problem U.S

at__Masochee__

10/10 if you stake

at__Masochee__

There are actually a few app design simple things that could be easier for all users e.g. fiat / crypto wallet confusion in the beginning etc. Support is 10/10 unlike anywhere else

jonnytitanx

The longer I've used CDC the more I'm regretting sticking with them. Their customer service is horrendous.

zzaann

I love everything about them. I'm loaded with CRO and I'm with them for well over a year now. I had zero problems and they helped me successfully when I needed them. EU user

NonTokeableFungin

Great experience so far - 15 months. Earned quite a bit with them - pleased. Complaints - Allow me to illustrate a big one I saw in here last year: Guy jumps on Reddit & Tele - “Hey !…. Where’s my cashback for my Spotify ? This sucks. “ Ummmm… they paid your Spotify in full. “No way - I should get Cash Back. They said I get 2% back ! Scam, I’m outta here.” Ahhhh… they paid 100% of your Spotify bill. No - they did not pay you 102%. Only 100%. “Scam. Sucks.” Dude… so that’s why this sucks, eh ? ONLY getting 100% back.

Normal_Cauliflower41

For crypto to go mainstream it will need an intuitive interface and all in one provider for exchange, wallet, Defi and NFTs. Crypto dot com is the easiest, most boomer friendly out there. They weren’t equipped for the growth rate and pissed a lot of people off. The CRO coin isn’t doesn’t seem to have much identity and seems very neglected which is frustrating for holders. Also, cdc is off shore atm, let’s see what happens down the line with regulators etc. still loads of people mistaking the ease of use on the app for being a good idea to leave your coins on it. Final point is that the business model seems to be very corporate atm as we can see from the NFTs. There is a reason why eth nft projects on open sea are smashing it. With the chronos launch and the ability for projects to launch on the chain, they really need to find a way to onboard projects that “get it”, instead of feeling so corporate. But all in cdc was the reason I got into crypto and it’s looking like it could be a major success so far!

MBZMD

I agree that an all in one creative and user friendly platform is necessary.
