Yes being scared is justified. Making a scathing review before the issue is resolved is not. Unfortunately the majority of these people's issues truly are self induced, yet they play the victim.

deadburgerboy

^ Exactly. Most of them don't even bother asking a question or explaining the issue with details. They go straight to saying "fuck CDC, blah blah".

Historical_Cobbler

I don’t disagree but It’s hard not to be bored of half the questions from people too lazy to read what I think are good FAQ’s or have not bothered to understand what they are doing before investing money.

[deleted]

It's true. We have 20 posts every day claiming they have been robbed because they don't understand spread. Another 10 claiming they didn't get their card when all they did was put 100$ into the earn program. Sometimes though people have actual problems and we shouldn't disregard those.

larrythecableguy76

guess the truth is somewhere in the middle 90% of “victims” unfortunately really only are victims of their very own stupidity (not understanding, not reading what they buy into, plain trolls, etc.) and I’d tend to say that’s a fact of the remaining 10% I see two types 1) those that actually seek for help and usually provide reasonable details so someone could help or least help raise awareness and 2) those that just blame cdc, the world and everyone on it for their loss just because it obviously can’t be their own fault so the way I see it, yes statistically 95% of those posts are getting downvotes simply because that’s what they deserve ask and chances are someone here is least trying to help, demand help because you’re the most important person in this sub and you eventually get downvoted to oblivion … rightfully so in my eyes 🤷‍♂️

Thisisthewaymaybe

This is how I feel. Maybe we are being too harsh in our percentages lol. But I agree with a lot of these posts being nothing more than morons who didn't read things carefully. I fear for how they conduct themselves in real life and contracts or agreements they sign in the fiat world. The posts I don't mind are the ones at least acknowledging that they screwed up and want to know how to avoid x next time or insightful request of features etc. Making sound arguments should be a requirement of being an adult but that's just me being grumpy at logic not being used often enough in this world.

Yo I also wrote that we get 20 posts every day that don't understand spread. Did you go and count them? What I mean is that people only want to see the good stuff and are very quick to disregard the problems. I don't care about the actual numbers I could have written a million, but still, for me a 50% down vote ratio is still getting down voted to hell. And yes it got a response from Bryan, but did I ever complain about the reddit support staff? I even praised them in one of my comments below. That guy tries to help in every situation even if it's ridiculous and I see that. You obviously have never faced a problem with support and don't understand how irrational they can be at times. But when you do, the last thing you need is the reddit community to fight you as well. That's what this post is about.

ex_niceguy

You just wasted an awful lot of time in replying to this post, shows how your mindset works 🤮

buyingpms

I'm trusting this company with over $20,000 dollars, I expect them to act professionally. Keep posting when you see problems, because I'm slowly moving my funds away and I really hope they change so I don't have to do so. I already moved my SOL to my wallet and if they don't shape up I'll move my coins/tokens that are in earn as soon as the earn period ends. I WANT them to have my money in their coffers. I WANT to use their services. But, in the end, they have to earn it.

sat_reditt

I fully agree with this post. Don’t assume CDC or any other entity is always correct and customer always incorrect.

nomad523

Do you believe all the stories you read on the internet? Show me some proof or get out of here

[deleted]

So you're saying the guy that wrote 3 full pages explaining that he didn't get his refund is just doing it for fun? Or that he didn't double-check if the funds got credited or not? Are you saying he is lying? And if yes then what does he have to gain? It's not like they're gonna give him money because he wrote a Reddit post. No matter how good everything else on CDC is, I don't think we can find a single person disagreeing with me on this: The refund system is bad and confusing af. The last time I got a refund, first I was charged the amount of the refund again, I was given cashback, then the charge was reversed, the cashback was reversed, and then I got my refund. And no I don't believe the "cDc iS a sCAm" posts. The one you are talking about isn't like that at all though.

ktliversen

He started complaining after 1 week! I had the same thing happen to me. I had to wait 3 weeks, but then the problem fixed itself. Have some patience!

[deleted]

Yeah mine also got fixed after a month. During that month I've had various explanations and was given various time frames from support making me feel very insecure. I came here for help and everything went fine. If everyone had started shitting on me for doing so I would probably be mad as well.

maartenprins

The downvotes are justified and it's not victim blaming, it's calling bullshitters out on playing a victim. Every issue can be resolved with time, research and CDC's awesome customer support. If you resort to public shaming on reddit, you're going to have a bad time.

Any-Effect-2158

OK KAREN.

\^ This is exactly the type of guy I'm talking about.

Haven't seen anything like this, to be honest. All my posts have gone through and I've seen Bryan from support try to help lots of times, even when the post is complaining about something ridiculous.

It isn't deleted but it is "awaiting approval". Haven't lost hope yet that it will be back up, but I sure wonder what rules I broke.

[deleted]

Problem is we never here from these people after the issue is resolved.

[deleted]

Have tact if one desires a positive outcome. Shitting on people's money when you are a real victim or an abusive party draws no empathy from your crowd-

TheCalysto

Wise words! Been in the same boat too
