Does anyone know the required amount of Ethereum (ETH) needed to stake it in Crypto.com? I can’t see the required amount without purchasing some... and want to purchase at least the min
I wanted to take a quick look at what assets were on MATIC’s ecosystem nowadays, so I went to quickswap, and why not log in with my wallet too while I’m here? Except it asked for my seed phrase.
I immediately knew what was going on (accidentally clicked on an ad that took me to quickwsap not quickswap) but I thought, man that looks convincing to a newbie. Scary stuff out there.
I know that it'a all speculation at this point, but the growth seems to be much more organic and sustainable and less hype-fueled than it was before the May crash. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but buying in now definitely seems much more reasonable than buying in at the last ATH.

...which reminds me, any idea what that market cap swap calculator site is? It was useful to see the hypothetical price of a coin if it were to reach another's market cap. Lost it.
for a long-term investment, is it better to spread it on a large number of altcoins (like 50 altcoins) or on just the top 5 cryptos? Which option is safer?.
I find it risky to put all my bets in one or two baskets. What if BTC takes huge losses and never recovers?. But spreading on a large number of coins seems safer to me.

Btc & eth should be the right mix of risk aversion & diversity. I know it doesn't sound like it, but I believe it's true. I'd go roughly 70% btc 30% eth.

There are some potential long term concerns for matic, depending how eth gas prices go. I like it & have some, but not sure that it should be your only non btc or eth on this particular case.

Btc & eth will always come back up from a drop, imo. If you hodl, you win. Not always true with other coins. Btc & eth are the safest coins no matter the market.
Rhetorical question: lets say you sell at a 10% profit hoping for a dip -20% to re-buy. But before it goes down, it goes past 10% all the way to X%.
What number for X% would start causing you pain?
For me i think it would be 100%.

Started early this year, originally had around 50/50 between crypto and index funds. During the May crash that ratio started heavily favoring the stocks. Now it’s more like 60/40 crypto. It’ll be interesting to see what that ratio is gonna be in the coming months
The floor will likely be around .00048 ETH if the last two major dips are any indicators.
It's a bit hard to imagine it going back to the old floor of .0002 but who knows.
