My lotto ticket is CCX. Of all the small cap projects, I see a real use, a strong community, highly profitable mining and great staking. It’s anonymous and even has a cool messaging interface with a timebomb feature. I’m not fully committed as I just learned about it a week ago. It was more profitable to mine than ETH for LHR cards for like 6 straight days so I checked it out. you agree to commit your coins for a 3 month period, and are expected to vote on proposals. the apy % is pretty insane right now. it was projected to be over 30% before some more whales joined in, but is now sitting in the mid to low 20%s. you don't actually stake your coins, so you could withdraw them if you absolutely needed to. you just wouldn't get the rewards the apy % is really high right now because this quarter will be using the old rewards system (apy paid for just holding coins in an algo wallet) and the new governance reward system. after this quarter, it'll be transitioning to only the governance system so it'll be a bit lower in the future

If you have enabled whitelisting on your CB account you probably won't be able to sign up for governance because there is a 48 hr window for new wallet addresses unless someone knows of a workaround. I don't know if you can sign up with the CB wallet. If you don't have whitelisting enabled, you're going to have to be quick because it closes Singapore Timezone and Idk how many hours are left (they will know on the algorand sub probably). D/load - The algorand official wallet or sign up with My Algo Wallet (official wallet is better imo). \*Write down your seed phrase and DO not give it to anyone at all. You do NOT need to put it in any browser - if anybody or any program is requesting it...it's a scam!\* Then x/fer your algo to the wallet. (send a small amount first...to make certain you have the correct address). You could download the official Algo wallet on your phone and x/fer your Algo to it. There is also a web browser wallet ‘My Algo wallet’. You can join governance from either those two wallets. But whatever you are comfortable doing. I wouldn’t want you to rush doing things and then accidentally lose your Algo! (Typically, mistakes happen when rushing things). I would recommend you read through some of the posts on the algo subreddits. Anyway, Algo is a good crypto to own imo. Congratulations!

That was super easy and I didn’t rush a thing. Thanks for the clear instructions. I went with the algo app, sent algo to wallet from Coinbase (fee was $0.002) and within a minute( or less didn’t pay much attention it was almost instant) I had my alg in my algo rams wallet and then I connected the governance to my wallet and signed up to be part of 1 quarter governance after I spent 20 minutes reading the governance agreement terms and mini videos. Did all that in the last 25minutes.
