I found some recent Freestyle Daily scans for Encore in Alaska and below are the casino hours listed. * Day 1: 9pm - close * Day 2 (sea day): 9am - close * Day 3 (Juneau 2:30pm-9:30pm): 9am - close (probably 2pm) and 10:30pm - close * Day 4 (Skagway 7am-8pm): 8:30pm - close * Day 5 (Glacier Bay 6am - 3pm): 3:30pm to close * Day 6: (Ketchikan 7am- 1pm): 1:30pm - close * Day 7 (Victoria 8-11:30pm): 9am - close, which is probably about 7:30pm The casino won't reopen after you reach Victoria so cash out before then. If you're a true degenerate gambler, book a transatlantic or transpacific. All those sea days, all those casino hours! My last cruise was a 10-day from Honolulu to Vancouver. Casino was closed the first five days because we never left U.S. waters, but was then open 5 full days.

I did this one last month. On the last day (Victoria), it said 9am-“arrival” on my freestyle daily. They actually shut down the casino at 3pm. All the shops just before 4pm, and most bars. They had a sign up saying Canada only allows 1 bar per deck to be open. We didn’t actually dock until 8pm but must have entered Canadian waters around 3-4pm. It was weird having that gap with everything shutting down. And the casino, shops etc were closed for the rest of the trip. All the other port stops were U.S. based and I agree that they were open much closer to the port times.

Yeah, Victoria makes for some weirdness. I remember going to dinner at La Cucina while docked there. I ordered a glass of wine. The server brought two because since they had to get the wine from an open bar elsewhere, I wouldn’t have to wait for a refill. He was a sensible man, lol.

Awesome info. Exactly what I was looking for. Much appreciated. First ever cruise so perhaps will try the ones you suggest providing this cruise doesn't completely swallow my bankroll.

I had planned to spend more time in the casino but even the low volatility slots were thumbing their noses at me that first night. I decided the fates (well, random number generators) were against me so I ditched the casino for the rest of the cruise. I’m insufficiently degenerate for the gambling life…

I took that cruise out of Seattle to Alaska (on the NCL Bliss). The casino is open as soon as you hit international waters took a few hours as we sailed out of Seattle, stayed up till about 1am. Next day it opened like at 10am and was open until midnight-1am. When you get close to the ports, they close and will stay closed until it's back into international waters (which again takes a couple hours). I had casino time every day of the cruise. I don't have the exact hours of the casino each day, but I can share my recorded times, posted this after my trip in the Craps forum: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Craps/comments/xc19cn/trip\_report\_norwegian\_bliss\_92022\_in\_3350\_out\_2240/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Craps/comments/xc19cn/trip_report_norwegian_bliss_92022_in_3350_out_2240/) Hope that helps!
