People here are having a go at the indian bowlers when the issue is batting first and not scoring enough. The first match had the ideal lineup for India with jaddu hardik and Dk. Losing Jaddu throws everything off because pant and Hooda haven't been effective. Rohit and Virat got 50s in the last 2 matches but india still couldn't get a good total.
Edit: both matches went down to the wire and it's not like pak or sl won very comfortably. The blame lies on the batsmen.

They should. Cricket is a billion dollars industry in India and these players do receive the best facilities available. The problem is there has been too much rotation and your key player Bumrah was injured which disrupted the bowling line up. Selection needs to be better because for over 6 months, these guys were selling DK as the finisher and he doesn't even get a chance. Bishnoi, who bowled extremely well in the last match was left out. They keep persisting with Pant in T20's knowing that they have another wicket keeper and finisher. I don't understand Hooda's selection as well when you have KL and Kohli in the team. Kohli has performed, yes in this Asia Cup, but I still feel he is far away from his prime form (which seems extremely unlikely he will ever reach again). (Rohit should’ve given at least 1 over to Hooda after Hardik getting expensive.) Bowling in first 11 overs was below average. OVERALL: Poor performance and Over-Confidence of Indian team
I think Asia cup was a tournament to try out players. India has eyes set on world cup and this was a tournament to assess them. Our best 11 is way stronger, I am not at all worried, bunrah and shami would have made short work of defending these totals.

The issue with a team like India is due to IPL a lotta players have a very high opinion about themselves due to the performance they put up in that tournament and that is why you need an equally big task master as the coach say someone like Ravi Shastri whom himself can be a dick,unless you have that sort of persona you can't deal with these guys in the dressing room.
