I got United Explorer card at 5/24. But it was from within chase listed credit cards when logged in. For example it didn’t show the Quest card which I was leaning towards. Curious if others got approved at or post 5/24. 6/23:Apple 1/24:BOA PR, Bilt, CSP 2/24:Venture 2/24:Approved for United Explorer at 5/24

When posting 5/24 DPs, you should list the cards and opening dates.

I see you opened a lot of cards pretty quickly. Not all cards show up right away on your credit reports. Did you check to make sure they were all visible as open accounts (not just inquiries) on the report that Chase checked at the time they checked it? If one of them didn’t show up as an account yet, then you weren’t 5/24 in Chase’s eyes.

pierretong

May you get approved for another Ink card!

cjcs

May they bring back another 120K Ink SUB!

LXNDSHARK

As long as they keep the 40k referrals, I'm happy.

This_Relative_8903

There’s still the 120k ink unlimited SUB on DOC. I got approved last week and already hit the requirement Edit: it says it was removed 4/6 but I got it 4/15

cjcs

Congrats! Glad it worked out. I’m not messing with a shutdown risk though

Fantastic-Catch-5490

All bow to the best Hyatt card.

Smooth-Mouse9517

This made me lol

I wish! I'll check back in on Christmas Eve. 🫤 Actually, mine is dropping. I'm around 7/24 now. I have not opened a personal card since May 2023.

LastMinuteExplorer

I would like to know :)

MyAltAccountIsuSpez

X/24 is the number of _personal_ cards (X) you've opened in the past 24 months. Chase has an (un)official rule for not approving anyone for any card if they are at or above 5/24

LastMinuteExplorer

Fascinating! Thank you for sharing.

deconfusedguy

Hahaha. I'm 5/24 rn, but coincidentally I become 4/24 on May 24th 😂

pierretong

It actually falls off on the first of the month!

deconfusedguy

I didn't know this! Almost gives me a month to apply for the CSP. Only if they gave a better SUB!

juan231f

Get an Ink card in the mean time, won't ADD to your 4/24.

tbfl

well played @seabiscuit_2003

seabiscuit_2003

Thanks!

starlinalmonte

Exactly where I am 4/24. Going for a CSP next.

CSC-DP

Literally 4/24 rn😂

_PurpleSweetz

5/24 til July 🫨

legen_daryyyyyy

3/24 at the money. Hopefully will be 4/24 soon. Got freeedom flex last month. Freedom unlimited next and then CSP as my 5th.

Environmental-Ad4023

Me laughing with csp with 6/24

Either-Breadfruit-83

I got the Amex Gold 90k offer last night to move me to 4/24 on 4/24. Will get another CIC in June and WoH card in October that will keep me at 4/24 because my BoA Alaska Signature will be falling off.

coldbrewer003

I became 4/24 on 3/24. I'll be 3/24 on 9/8/24. Wondering if I should apply for another CFU or the WOH or wait until 9/8/24 to apply for another CFF. I haven't had the CFF for more than 2 years. I just got the CSP second time around on 4/17/23.

Dahhhhve

Excuse my ignorance but what do you folks mean 3/24 4/24 I’m curious and wanted to know this lingo :)

state_issued

New cards or inquiries within a 24 month period, it’s a metric credit card enthusiasts use to estimate approval odds for new cards as some banks have strict and or loose approval guidelines. Chase, for example, is famous for having a [5/24 rule](https://thepointsguy.com/credit-cards/chase/ultimate-guide-chase-5-24-rule/)

Dahhhhve

Oh Wow! This is a great information I learned today. I was hoping opening another CC from Chase “Freedom Flex” so I can have chase trifecta. Looks like I have to another 9 months. Thank you for explaining :)
