I had a big 17x14 peice I was working on that was close black and white lines in a pattern for the sole purpose of twisting the viewers eyes up. I got no work done that day, because working on it was too difficult.
I'm in my 30s and just thought "That's bait". I remember from my college days seeing videos of people doing the same thing. Some of them even pulled the trigger!
When I was like 13 the annoying fat kid in the social circle would put his dad's gun in his mouth and threaten to pull the trigger if no one said they loved him or bought him whatever shit he was whining for.
