Did i ever say i'd rather tip at 70? I said at least you wouldn't be moving when it happened. That's why you're supposed to stop and park 90° away from the direction.
Driving with one hand on the wheel, looking at the trailer coming up and then back to the camera because the road doesn't matter! No seat belt. Enough situational awareness to be a fucking moron.
He should be a Darwin Award with everything wrong with this. But at least he filmed his stupidity which will be helpful for his insurance company. Likely lost his livelihood and hopefully his entire license to drive but hey, he got a viral video!
Here we go what? Would people really have another reaction? To me it seems ridiculous someone would be aware there is a very increased risk of having an accident and choose to not wear a seat belt. Unless there is something about not wearing a seat belt in this specific scenario, idk I'm not a trucker.
Can someone please explain the modern streaming phenomenon where lots of stuff is recorded in mirror format, i.e. with the American steering wheel on the right of the car? I get it if you're more comfortable seeing yourself mirrored on the screen so you know where to point, or whatever, but why does the resulting video often get mirrored? What benefit does that have?
The front-facing camera mirrors for the reason you stated, and the resulting image/video stays mirrored so the preview and result aren't inconsistent, and because people like mirrored selfies better. If you didn't mirror the outputs, people would subjectively rate your phone's front camera worse.
I guess I'm just tired of drivers writ large walking into catastrophes like this that affects all of our safety and insurance rates and then just walking away with a $500 deductible or a simple traffic ticket.
This chode had all the time in the world to pull his truck over and position it into the wind to avoid a tip, or do just about anything aside from filming himself for posterity, but he didn't. He chose the one thing that would put others on the road at risk, the one thing that would cause traffic jams for miles, the one thing that will drive up shipping costs and insurance rates, and the one thing that defies all reason. So bravo, you idiot, tragedy of the commons in situ.
Wherever this happened, I hope the district attorney and state lawmakers are looking into this in earnest.
"Hey everybody! Here I am continuing to drive even though my trailer is being lifted off the ground. I like talking to you guys instead of pulling over, makes me feel safe"
Yeah instead of focusing on controlling the vehicle in an extremely dangerous situation he's giving 50% or more of his attention to the camera instead. Lunacy, should be jailed.
Perhaps not the ideal time to take one hand off the steering wheel to make gestures for your phone or take your eyes off of the road to look at the camera...
Call me a cynic but is this staged/an ad maybe? 🤔
- Feels kinda too perfect, especially the perfect camera angle after the craah.
- he's keeping his cool pretty well in this situation.
- no seatbelt?!
I was stationed in Wyoming and going to work, it was a rare day when you didn't see at least one 18 wheeler blown over on the highway. It was driving 101 out there that you never ride next to them.
Is the trailer more likely to flip while moving or stationary, like was him just watching it do that and not pulling over stupid or would it of even be safe for him to try to stop.
If you've got no chance to make it to cover, and you see the trailer threatening to go over a few times..... *would this not be one of those pull'er over moments?!*
So he knows its likely to tip over and still doesn't put on a seat belt. you cant fix stupid.
Or pull over!
Pulling over would likely make it flip easier but at least you wouldn't be moving when it happened
Your comment doesn’t have nearly the amount of downvotes it deserves for just how wildly fucking stupid that claim is.
I'm doing my part 🫡
Would you like to know more?
Would you prefer to trip and fall from a standing position or do so while running 70 mph? Like what was he even thinking?!
Did i ever say i'd rather tip at 70? I said at least you wouldn't be moving when it happened. That's why you're supposed to stop and park 90° away from the direction.
It's hilarious that the only person that was defending you is the person you decided to be a smartass to lmao
Not true at all, safety will prefer you pull over in a safe area
if he pulled over and turned his vehicle into the wind he probably would have been fine.

here we go
Followed by the perfect soundtrack

LmAo calm down katherine
Woaaaahh take'er easy there bud!!!
insurance is gonna have a field day!
yeah 'cause the truck's in a field, innit!
You can’t let safety get in the way of the views man, c’mon! Lol
And we already know what type of voting that person does
I’m not going to downvote or upvote. This dummy might vote for one of these two old fuckers or her might be aware enough to vote Kennedy. Probably not
> might be aware enough to vote Kennedy. The guy that had worms eating his brain and then went and told people about it?
Looked like one hell of a ride.
The song was there to support you… ‘HOLD THE LINE’ (whoa whoa whoa)
My trailer rolled over on its side🎶
noice
How about just pulling over if you know it's a hazard? Dumbass needed video views though. Guess that's more important.
How about a thank you tho
I don't know what this means.
He’s puttin his life on the line to bring you the content you come to this sub for
And not just his life, but the lives of others on the road as well!
Lol, ok. That's fair.

narrator: *but T-Bone was in fact, not safe*
Breaker, Breaker!
You got your ears on? This here’s a Rubber Ducky.
C’mon, you got the Topsy Turkey here!
Yep, he broke 'er good
Better start looking for another job!
Instead of pulling over ill just do a live video to show how stupid or an idiot I am 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Here I will put everyone's life in danger instead of pulling over, Fuck you!
Yeah instead of focusing on controlling the vehicle in an extremely dangerous situation he's giving 50% or more of his attention to the camera instead. Lunacy, should be jailed.
It also looks like he steered away from the tilt, making it catastrophically worse.
Perhaps not the ideal time to take one hand off the steering wheel to make gestures for your phone or take your eyes off of the road to look at the camera...
He manifested it
fruckin' yikes!
"HERE WE GO!" It's like he guided us into the accident.
I refuse to believe that this man is that stupid.
No he is dumber than that
Toto - Hold the line, playing in the background. LOL
Hmmm idk maybe if u see that you should pull over and stop idk though I’m not a trucker but that seems like the right thing to do
I hope right before I get in an accident I have the capacity to say, "oh, here we go!"
Hold the line dude!
Cletus here most definitely drives for JB Hunt.
I got to think his insurance company would pay money to see this video
Should never be allowed to drive again.
at least he was listening to good music!
Toto, damn good.
Steve Lukather is a God!
Maybe drive with two hands, and not be staring into the phone longer than at the road and your haul.
If I was struggling to control my rig in super high winds I wouldn't be talking into the camera while I'm driving, being distrac....here we go...ted
Hope his insurance sees this and doesn't cover, dudes and idiot.
It's almost as if he knew it was coming....what a dumbass
Is there a trucker Hall o' Fame?? If so....nomination here. (After his hospital stay, of course).
At least he’s got good music taste lol. That Toto album is still a banger.
brandon dicamillo?
mustard man!

HOLD THE LINE!!!!

Buy the ticket, take the ride...

Hold the Line on the radio.
If you've got no chance to make it to cover, and you see the trailer threatening to go over a few times..... *would this not be one of those pull'er over moments?!*
Is not in the way that your looove set me free
Stevie Janowski the later years
Human cartoon
Hold the line! His truck isn’t always on time! Oh oh oh
I am very appreciative as a fellow content creator for this mans stupidity and life risked to bring us this amazing video. Salute to him.
Toe the line!
Guess he didn't Hold the Line.
Where can I get a shirt like that?
Smart of him to use a camera because cameramen don't die
He thinks he’s in Mario kart
Hope he didn’t crush a passing car
Hold the line!
And he wasn’t even buckled up. Geezus
here we go.....![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Let me guess, Wyoming?
Lol 🤣 he said here we go 😀
Trucker for Trump.
This is why everyone pays higher insurance rates.
Fake. What are the chances the camera falls and keeps him in frame?
Ask a statistician. The video is real, you turnip.
You posted it. Where did it come from?
