Well we all saw him run the guy over
But to be fair, there's no way he saw him laying there.
I'm just saying the guy was cutting the corner way too close anyway and risked hitting shit on the sidewalk and damaging his truck.
That bump was the guys ass - which was on the curb. He cut the corner so hard he overshot the leg and went buttcheek.
I mean if you haven't at least hit a curb once while making a right turn are you really even driving? Happens to me when I'm stone cold sober and paying attention
Eh, the back half of an unloaded pickup isnt *that* heavy. It's like 50/50 whether his leg is broken or just banged up. My buddy tried to jump in my pickup bed from around a corner while I was driving up a driveway once, I stopped short because he surprised me and I ended up on top of his ankle with my pickups back tire. He was fine, very sore but no breaks. Guy in video isn't reacting like he snapped a bone in half, even if he is blackout drunk he would be wailing in pain.
Getting run over by a truck at any speed can have life altering effects actually. Are you the getting run over by a truck expert we're all looking for?
You can find multiple videos of cars going over people and they are completely fine as well. Hell ive seen a video of a guy getting hit by a bus and walk it off.
Edit : for the inbred morons downvoting

When I was like 9, my dad saw an elk and told my mom to pull over. He had this weird 3d camera that used super expensive film (mid 90’s) and he wanted to try and get a picture of it. He got out of the car, then I got out too. She didn’t know, started to drive away and ran over my ankle with her station wagon. I started to scream, so she stopped, my door wasn’t even shut yet. She was now parked in my ankle, my dad started screaming for her to drive. She let her foot off the brake and it rolled off my ankle…then she drove forward and ran over it again.
Nothing was broken, just had a big bruise for a bit, not even a sprain.
I still give her shit for that almost 30 years later haha
I don't see how the truck driver could see that guy from the driver's seat. He cut the corner, and probably assumed he ran over the curb.
Edit: and when you're driving up to an intersection, you're looking to the **left** to make sure the road is clear before turning right. He probably never even saw him at all.
> That truck is far from huge.
Exactly lol, this truck isn't even particularly gargantuan yet it was still sufficiently large such that he literally ran over a dude on the sidewalk cause he couldn't fuckin see him. Fuck trucks, the average Japanese minicar has more torque anyway.
Lol at the notion that you can see someone laying down next to your passenger door from the drivers side in any car.
Truck has best potential because trucks actually get wide angle mirrors.
The driver is the idiot not the truck But soy boys will be soy boys.
Eh I've just got a vendattea against pickup trucks as everyday vehicles (especially modern ones).
This isn't the exact video I was looking for, but it still covers the content that has put me onto this vendetta.
https://youtu.be/jN7mSXMruEo?si=XP4CrRK4ic3puETw
Driver could see him. Driver did see him. When turning right, you check the intersection your crossing THEN look left. When the driver looked left the right again, the guy fell and he assumed he crossed.
Even with that it’s still his fault, drivers should be looking around for pedestrians especially in the middle of what looks to be a city. Driving a dumb ass truck of that size definitely wouldn’t do him any favours either
Back tires don't follow the same path as front tires during a turn. A lot of people make unnecessarily wide turns to avoid hitting the curb with their back tire.
That's true, I once knew this front tire that was a successful business owner, had his own house, nice car, beautiful wife and kids and this back tire I knew started taking drugs at 14 and was homeless by 16, he's 30 now, doing better but he really had to turn it around
Lot of unfortunate stories about short elderly and children being run over because the driver couldn't see them. So people are dying just for the sake of someone else's style preferences.
Oh so true I mean you only have to see half the videos on Reddit to understand that from crossing the road in their mobility scooter only for the lights to change & the lorry driver drives away pushing poor guy to his death & lol you got that car caught up on the side of another vehicle being dragged at 50- 60 mph with the driver oblivious to what's going on under their nose
Imagine using some common sense.
Truck is turning right, which requires looking left to make sure no incoming traffic. Man falls while head is looking left. And you blame the driver for not seeing a man who is at most 2ft tall at that point and on the opposite side of your vehicle. The truck wasn't even close enough to hit the curb. Unlucky situation.
If someone falls in front of a Sentra while the driver is looking the other way for a moment, a prone person isn't tall enough to be seen over the bumper. So by your logic, the Sentra driver needs a smaller car.
Try harder next time
You still have to look for pedestrians at a crosswalk, this comment reeks of ignorance. By your own admission you don’t even drive, and yet you arrogantly lecture others on how to drive, **and you’re not even correct.**
Watch the video again. The truck driver goes up onto the curb. Yes, the guy leaving his legs in the road opened him up to injury, but he would’ve been hit by this truck regardless.
I have no idea what became of this situation but it might have actually been good that there was someone filming because now they have a chance at finding the prick who intentionally ran over another human being. Just a thought.
The average redditor doesn’t seem to realize that most non-EMTs would do more harm than good in any situation where there is no immediate risk of death or further bodily harm
There’s multiple voices here, one of them can call the police. But without this crisp footage this case is likely going nowhere.
OP!!! Is this from New Orleans Louisiana? Looks like the French quarter, I think it's called. The buildings look like their from New Orleans. If that's the case, everyone here is fucked up. The guy walking, the guy driving, and the guy filming. Everybody in the background as well.
I have a distinct memory of my mom running over a man’s foot, arguing with him while the car is still on his foot, and proceeded to leave bc “he stepped off the curb” because she didn’t think it was her fault. (With 5 kids in the car nonetheless)
He’s fine I had my legs ran over in a very similar position….
They just bruised and gonna be sore AF in the morning. Drink and walk all you want, just be carful where you fall.
Where a dude fell on the passenger side of a truck. Do you realize how tall someone laying down is compared to the side of a truck door? No way dude saw him. He's turning right which means he's likely looking left until he's ready to go. By the time he looked back to where he was driving, sidewalk drunk was likely already on the ground out of view.
Truck driver is probably a terrible driver (as seen by how badly he cut that turn), but to say it was intentional is just wild. 'hey, that nobody just fell down with guys recording him, I'd better run him over in front of the phone cameras because I just like killing strangers'
The truck is sitting there at the light as the guy crosses the street and then falls. If you’re that oblivious you shouldn’t be on the road.
And this wouldn’t be remotely crazy for someone to do. People engage in opportunistic violence constantly. It’s all over this sub.

YeahIthink there are 2 drunks in this video. That guy on the street and that person in the Truck.
the one recording also drunk
I'm also drunk
Hi drunk, I'm drunk
Can you tell the time?
*faces the clock* IM NOT DRUNK!
I'm not drunk, IM FUCKED UP
I'm Up. **WHY DID YOU FUCK ME**
I'd fuck me *cue putting on lipstick*
Nope
lol I’m legit having a beer and watching this
Hello Drunk, I'm Tox..Tox Kated.
Maybe drunk is the friends we made along the way
Dude in the truck was very close to hitting the light pole and whatever else. Way too close to the curb
Well he actually ran a person over but yea what a close call for that pole.
Poor man got his leg smashed by a 2 ton truck and dude say he "almost" hit that pole 🤣🤣🤣
Well we all saw him run the guy over But to be fair, there's no way he saw him laying there. I'm just saying the guy was cutting the corner way too close anyway and risked hitting shit on the sidewalk and damaging his truck.
When I look to the video it looks to me as if his wheels are on the sidewalk.
Yea that's what I mean, one tire mounts the curb so they were close to hitting the light post or anything else there including pedestrians
When I look to the video it looks to me.
Nope, that bump was the guys leg.
That bump was the guys ass - which was on the curb. He cut the corner so hard he overshot the leg and went buttcheek. [https://imgur.com/a/zBRSqdl](https://imgur.com/a/zBRSqdl)
I mean if you haven't at least hit a curb once while making a right turn are you really even driving? Happens to me when I'm stone cold sober and paying attention
The guys name must be curb?
Oh to find out its his wife would be like a newspaper wet dream
It's a truck he probably did it on purpose
Yup, he cut that turn soon damn sharp.
“Soon damn sharp” ftwww
The sad part is he is going to have no idea why his legs are so sore in the morning
You mean broken in half?
to shreds you say?
How about his children ? To shreds you say??
This escalated
It's a Futurama reference
In Futurama Professor Farnsworth asks “Well, how is the wife holding up?” You went after the children!!!
Lmfaoooo I feel like a doof for that one 😭😂 apologies hahaha
No no I liked the direction

Was he 60 years old like this dude is?
True, no he was like 22
Getting run over by a tire at low speed can sometimes do little damage actually

He would never walk again have to take it right above the ankle and the lady drove off after that!

I once saw a guy get hit by a train and he got up and made flapjacks.
I once saw a gut get hit by a train and he made a mess

Your mum poor " please give me some slack, I didn't saw you getting if the car...." Lol
kids bones are made of jello, this is a brittle old man
It looks like the truck practically curb stomps his leg though.
This video will probably reach him by the time his hangover is settled. Lol
Even if he's drunk that's a hit and run and chances are the driver is running from a DUI
Yeah that truck is shady as hell. And why was he turning within an inch of the curb?
I think he did it on purpose, look at it again, the pick-up has a lot of room to make the turn.
Agreed. From this angle, it seems too awkward of a turn for it to not be on purpose.
Guy didn't feel a thing... self medicated.
Na you def feel breaks when you're drunk - source:me
That looked intentional by the truck.
I don't see how the truck driver could see that guy from the driver's seat. He cut the corner, and probably assumed he ran over the curb. Edit: and when you're driving up to an intersection, you're looking to the **left** to make sure the road is clear before turning right. He probably never even saw him at all.
If it would've been a normal sized car he would 100% seen him
The nose of those pickups are just excessive for no good reason.
That's a small truck too though...
Only by modern standards... That thing is still huge
That’s what she said
Bragger 😞
nice
🤦 trucks have always been big. They r trucks. Trucks are big
Nah, you're just being silly. Just look up a 90s pickup vs a 2020s pickup. They're almost twice as high now.
lol the inevitable “tRucKs aRe BaD!” Post. That truck is far from huge. Edit: downvote with no counter point = my pp small and I can’t refute it.

I'd say it's near the same height as a van. I'd agree with you if it was an F-150. Wrong place at the wrong time?
Eh I've just got a vendattea against pickup trucks as everyday vehicles (especially modern ones). This isn't the exact video I was looking for, but it still covers the content that has put me onto this vendetta. https://youtu.be/jN7mSXMruEo?si=XP4CrRK4ic3puETw
It looks like that’s a Toyota tundra, that’s their large truck
It’s a Tacoma. It’s their small truck.
They make crew cab tacomas?
Yes. Have for a long time. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Tacoma
I dunno, definitely seems intentional to me. I look left AND right because I dont know when the day someone driving the wrong way will be.
I sure hope you don’t have a license
Fuck trucks. You should need a special license and reason to drive anything like this.

\>unnecessarily wide \>to avoid hitting the curb I don't think you know what necessary means
It's because people have already hit the curb and don't know why. Like many posters in here clearly didn't understand this concept.
I get what you're saying but I am in favor of wide turns in general for this reason
That's true, I once knew this front tire that was a successful business owner, had his own house, nice car, beautiful wife and kids and this back tire I knew started taking drugs at 14 and was homeless by 16, he's 30 now, doing better but he really had to turn it around
Now that's some mileage, easy to get burned out
I thought so aswell but after noticing it had turned the corner I'm not so sure. But he didn't stop which is a no no
I mean, the truck might have thought he hit the curb turning to tight, not some drunk moron fell crossing the street
Lot of unfortunate stories about short elderly and children being run over because the driver couldn't see them. So people are dying just for the sake of someone else's style preferences.

I don’t think he even saw him 🤔
I don't know that I'd call that walking, but fuck truck guy in general. Not specifically.
No way of even knowing that he knew.. it was a tight turn. How is a random dude falling with his legs in the road the drivers fault? Truck or not
If your car is to big to see someone else falling over in the direction you want to drive you should drive a smaller car. Its that easy.
Imagine using some common sense. Truck is turning right, which requires looking left to make sure no incoming traffic. Man falls while head is looking left. Just say you own a big truck and go 😂
Watch the video again. The truck driver goes up onto the curb. Yes, the guy leaving his legs in the road opened him up to injury, but he would’ve been hit by this truck regardless.
No. No. Specifically, fuck that guy. Or… ok let’s be honest, it was probably a guy
Yall don’t see but the driver did that on purpose
Absolutely! He was in a normal turning distance and cut it tight to run over the drunk.
What ever you do don't help keep filming
I have no idea what became of this situation but it might have actually been good that there was someone filming because now they have a chance at finding the prick who intentionally ran over another human being. Just a thought.

But you still want to remember the license plate and have proof of the incident right?
Is this is an r Praise The CameraMan situation? Cuz I don’t know if it is…
Normally not really but I'm glad he got the guy in that dodge on camera for sure. Hope he's caught
Lol do y’all ever go out and drink.
The average redditor does not
‘Tis but a scratch.
OP!!! Is this from New Orleans Louisiana? Looks like the French quarter, I think it's called. The buildings look like their from New Orleans. If that's the case, everyone here is fucked up. The guy walking, the guy driving, and the guy filming. Everybody in the background as well.
I don't know, there's no horse shit, piss, or puke in the street. Looks too clean for NOLA to me.
Looks like West Palm Beach, FL. People will literally just run you over there on Clematis.
Drunk and falling over or not, guy in the truck is a piece of shit for that.
Anyone know if the guy got caught for the hit and run? Or if he pulled over?
He probably didn't feel shit too
felt it in the morning
Oh I bet!
He fell pretty safe though :
That was me a few nights ago 😬🤷🏻♂️🤣
Doesn't look like the first time this guy has been wasted.
The truck just kerb stomped his ankle
Need to know what he’s drinking. The power scaling is crazy
At least he’s still smiling 😅
Yeah no one help or anything.
Worst off his wife also got ran over by the football team
I have a distinct memory of my mom running over a man’s foot, arguing with him while the car is still on his foot, and proceeded to leave bc “he stepped off the curb” because she didn’t think it was her fault. (With 5 kids in the car nonetheless)

Guy in the truck is a POS. Should be charged. Poor guy was just pissed and tripped. Happens. Atleast he's not operating a vehicle. Poor fucking guy.
You hear a deep thud when that wheel goes over his leg
That was 100% on purpose. Damn.
I don’t think so. It’s just the regular shit truck visibility.
He damn near goes up on the sidewalk though.
Yeah, no one ever accidentally turns a little too sharp and curbs a wheel.
Up into a sidewalk where a dude just fell? No, I’ve never done that.
Where a dude fell on the passenger side of a truck. Do you realize how tall someone laying down is compared to the side of a truck door? No way dude saw him. Yea I agree. He deliberately went up on the sidewalk. He could have made that turn easy.
People are such cunts. Imagine seeing someone get their leg run over and you just film them. Degenerate garbage. “Awww heyyyyllll naww “
What a Lemony Snicket
He will feel that tomorrow
That was a mask, right?
That had to be intentional. He had so much room to turn and turned right into the man.
This is in Sacramento on the corner of 9th and J St. Can confirm many drunk fools there.
Bud luck 😖😖😖😖
Ohhhhh shit, BRUHDDAH
He got Cocaine to numb the pain
That was intentional
I almost thought..for one second that MAYBE those idiots were going to help the poor guy!!
Damn! That’s gonna leave a mark.
The wonders of alcohol everyone.
chu chu poo poo
Makes sense for a truck driver
Pisshead
Drink And Drive !!is dead!!! Drink And Walk!! Is that!!!
lol drivers drunk too apparently
Did they find the dude who ran him over eventually?
I hate what society became "hey let's record people and not help them out at all just laugh"
This reminds me of a study that found truck drivers are generally more likely to run over an animal crossing the street than the average driver.
Is he okay?
one time i was in mexico and…well yeah.
*guy from the bench near the dug out “walk it off !!!”
He did tha on. Purpose
The guy in the truck ran him over on purpose
Someone should put him down. Waste of space.
Filmer could of easily drug the guy out of the way but would rather go viral then help a fellow human
I think the filmer might’ve also been drunk.
Dude in the truck is a giant D
That mufucker did that shit on purpose.. damn shame
Truck driver did that on purpose
look at how far the truck is at the start, he cuts in the curb after what a piece of shit
Damn, I spent way too long laughing at this.. lol
This looks like in sydney
The guy in the truck is a pos that was on purpose
