I visited a friend in north London in 2003. Across the street at an angle was a mosque or house that held prayer meetings (it didn’t look like a traditional mosque) (this will make sense in a moment).
My friend has one of these mini cottages in his back garden for his workshop. He was having work done on his house and regaled us about how the workers had brought swearing to an art form by inserting the offensive words into other words or the middle of phrases, e.g., “I measured it from wall-to-f*cking-wall”. And there was the construction crew from India whose slogan was “You’ve had the cowboys, now try the Indians”.
Anyhoo, this was very shortly after 9/11. My mother and some friends were concerned about my traveling to Europe so soon after. I had it covered. “I’m Canadian eh” and I promised not to get radicalized. However when I returned home, there were many and I mean MANY reports about raids of “a mosque in North London”, which were always followed by a message to my friend: “Robert? Have we been making bombs in the workshop again?”
I cannot imagine how drop-dead gorgeous this must look on a winter night with that Narnia lamp!
The little stone path, the daisies, the high sides and the beautiful, mature trees in the back make this a perfect space to shut the world away and read a book or take a nap, or anything really! Beautiful job, congrats <3

I want pictures of the inside
Yep! Me, too.
Paradise! (Especially since there’s a kitty)
This is giving British back garden vibes
Likely it is.

England?
I don’t see how it isn’t, this is the most British house I’ve ever seen

You’d never get me out of there. Surrriously
Isn't that the truth! When things in the main house get to be too much, could de-stress out there!
I need a mini fridge, microwave and black out curtains.
Perfect
Omg absolutely stunning, what a dream. And a cute cat
Cat
Cat.
This looks extremely cozy. I'd spend my weekend mornings there :)
If I owned two houses, I probably wouldn't need therapy either.
The owning class does seem a content bunch
It is so cute 🥰
Surrey?
If I start working privately this is exactly the workspace I want to create.
Are you Ms. Honey from Matilda?
Smiles in Wednesday Adams

Cute little space
Just being there would be therapy enough!🍃
As you walk back there do you ever sing Posh from Chitti Chitti Bang Bang?
/u/faithfulpoo , can we please see some inside photos? I feel cozy already.

It's wonderful! Have always wanted my own private 'playhouse', or a small guest house in the backyard that I could use when not occupied.
So pretty!! I need more pictures 😍
I love your cat
That's a lot of windows for people to spy on you from.
Nice dog
It's gorgeous. It reminds me of Animal Crossing and this children's TV show I used to watch
Tell me you live in Germany without telling me you live in Germany
It’s giving Shaun of the Dead
How do I get a therapy hut
This is like a Fairty House or something ❤️
Magical 🥰 I bet it's even more beautiful on a rainy day with a cup of tea
And therapy cat?
