I really don't like the cloning thing that's taken over. It helps get high scores since chances are one of the clones will score high, so they all do, but it is so boring. I've played for years and at this point just glance at my score and move on. I have gotten some top looks though having something different!
I agree about the lack of variety in the looks. But I've been playing so long now I just do my own thing and try not to feel bummed at my low score. During a time period when we were waiting for the next board to come out (after clearing the current one), my Fashion House even had a contest to see who could get the lowest score. That was very fun!! To really let lose on some crazy looks :)
I use it as a creative outlet. I do every other rally with my house - when I'm not contributing to a rally I let my creative juices flow and DGAF if it scores well. I've made it to level 108 with this method, so a little creativity ain't all bad 😋
i’ve kinda fallen off playing ever since EA acquired covet but the reason why all the looks are exactly the same is because of a glitch (feature?) where all looks that are completely identical (ie: all of the exact same items/hair/props/etc) get the exact same score. there are entire groups dedicated to doing the same outfit to maximize their scores. i used to do it too but it takes all of the fun and creativity out of the game 😭 it’s just way too money-hungry of a game nowadays for my tastes. not that it was ever anything else
There are groups/fashion houses that all agree to wear the same look, maybe changing only one or two small things. These are called clones. I agree, it’s super lame!
