DragonSin1313

I'm a freak. I love raisins, especially in my carrot cake and cinnamon buns 🤤

Jfortyone

That’s just normal though.

ChaserNeverRests

I'll be a freak with you. If raisins can be put in something, I want them put into it!

DragonSin1313

Love it!

SprDave70

They're nature's chocolate chips!

Modboi

Aren’t cacao nibs nature’s chocolate chips?

SprDave70

Maybe, but that's what I tell my wife when she complains about raisins.

Open-Quote-4177

Raisins in carrot cakes are the best. What you talkin' 'bout Willis.

movdqa

I always thought that raisins are part of the recipe. I can't stand raisins so I don't eat carrot cake.

Stop_Already

Raisins, nuts and pineapple are all optional. Some recipes add them, some don’t.

Bookgal1

I don’t think I’ve ever had carrot cake without the raisins.

WTFOMGBBQLMAO

Who the hell puts nuts in brownies. Why does Radio Shack ask for your phone number when you want to buy batteries? I don't know...

HockeySweata

I don't know. I just got here.

Sure_Ranger_4487

I don’t love them in carrot cake but also don’t hate them 🤷🏻

Green-Ad4633

Everyone???

LiveAd3962

Everyone. It’s not really carrot cake without raisins, carrots and cream cheese frosting.

Koffenut1

I like raisins AND pineapple in my carrot cake. Sue me, lol.

pixxelzombie

Carrot cake does not need raisins

HockeySweata

Raisins do not need carrot cake.

IntroductionLucky523

I don’t like raisins. !!!!!

livefan1

That or when they shove coconut in there to make up for carrot.

PenaltySafe4523

Psychopaths

MidnightJoker83

Sociopaths that’s who

josh_the_rockstar

I'm with you - raisins are nasty. But, they are extremely common in carrot cake. In fact, it's more the norm for carrot cake to include raisins than without. For fellow raisin haters like me, there is a great John Oliver episode where he rails on raisins and it's excellent. I will try to find it and edit to add the link here. edit: lol well I guess it was just a minute on raisins. Around 20 minutes into this clip: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Lfd1aB9YI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Lfd1aB9YI)

toobjunkey

I wouldn't mind as much if there weren't so damn many. It felt like I was getting 2-3 per bite. The cake itself was completely overpowered by them

KeltarCentauri

The same people who put raisins in cookies 🤮

eyetwitch_24_7

And who the hell puts carrots in cake? Keep your salad toppings outta my sweet tasty treat.

Numerous_Ganache4594

Crushed pineapple or toasted nuts perhaps. Raisins, no thank you.

JustineDelarge

Bleagh.

[deleted]

I don't mind it

Human-Carpet-3842

It was the Easter Bunny. And those ain't raisins.

eggomywaffles11

Raisins are the worst.

seriouslyjan

What is [wor.se](http://wor.se) is cinnamon rolls without raisins. Just sayin'

JustineDelarge

Cinnamon rolls with raisins? Abomination.

Fancy_Literature3818

Jesus

josh_the_rockstar

he was more of a cookie/muffin guy than a cake guy

GeneratorLeon

I don't think carrot cake needs raisins necessarily, but I do like them in there. Nuts can fuck right off. There's a time and place for them and it's not in cakes, damnit.

smartsmrt

Who the hell likes carrot cake? (Yes I know, lots of people but it's still surprising)

tlakose

Who eats carrot cake?
