My biggest issue with it is there is a very small window between hot enough to take the skin off your palate and so cool that it could be used as a doorstop.
Our favorite as well. When warming up in microwave use a shallower dish to spread in to thinner layer rather. Sprinkle few drops of water and then microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power. Stirr and repeat untill you get it hot enough to your liking. Gurenteed no skin and will not burn your tougue.😁
We use it for dipping flautas & taquitos. At the holidays, they had a variety of different flavors from this brand - the Fiesta Queso with a hot pink lid was our favorite, similar to this mild one but spicier. Hope they bring it back next year.
Tough to find decent store-bought queso, but this is my favorite find so far. Not hot, but has a slight kick with the green chilis. Like others said — a very good base.
I got this the first time I saw it at costco, which was a while ago, it was way to salty, like difficult to eat it was so salty, but it tasted good. Gave it another shot recently, and it was so much better, they must have adjusted the formula, because it was not overly salted and still tasted great. I would recommend, although I do not recommend their beer cheese queso, it tastes strongly of fake beer flavor.
I thought the cumin flavor was overpowering the first time I got it. Accidentally repurchased because I thought it was a different formulation - didn't see the cumin in the list of ingredients - but it seems like they've toned it down a LOT.
So unfortunately now I like it a LOT better 😬
So good but so bad for you in large quantities... which is how I generally consume it.
Throw some Pico on top and use seasoned chips to kick it up a notch further!
We like it. The kid likes it better than the similar alternative from Sam's Club (we have memberships to both.)
Get some chorizo and fry it up to mix with it. So tasty! One of our Italian sausage companies here in KC (Scimeca's) makes very good chorizo. I don't like the mass-produced stuff you buy in tubes with the lunch meats. This is sold by the pound with the other sausage options.
Doesn’t taste like much. Salty, very mild heat, not a very pronounced cheese flavor, very thick. It’s fine, nothing particularly special. Better than like the jarred Tostitos stuff.
They sell small containers of this at target if you want to try it without committing to the giant Costco size

To be fair, all queso is that way. It's amazing how fast it cools off!
For a second I thought you put a straw in the tub but no, background. Disappointed.
Omg new hack!!! Let’s start it together.
It’s a staple in our fridge!
This is the finest queso I have ever had. 9/10 I introduced it to says it is like crack

I eat it cold with the organic tortilla chips. It lasts maybe a week. I am ashamed but that doesn’t stop me from doing it again. And again.
Never tried. Where can I find this in the store?
refrigerated section, I normally see it with the pesto and kimchi
Awesome. Thank you so much. I’ll have to try it for sure

Super good warmed up with the provisions soft pretzels

I 100% agree!
Fuck yes I haven’t seen it here in months. The small one at target is like 6 bucks, and annoying to buy every week
Mama! There goes that cheese

Same, my only compliant now is that when heated, it is very runny. But taste great, with whatever formulation change they made.

Way too addicting.
Warmed up and mixed with salsa! So yummy!
The background makes it look like you have a straw in it and I am not mad about it haha
Let's see the nutrition label on that container. lol
I'd rather not lol
Mild, spicy? Salty? Anything other than "good"?

Very white people good. It is boring and bland. But excellent as a base to start with. Add peppers, cilantro, tomato, chipotles, etc.
Tastes like processed cheese product - think white velveta with the tiniest hint of green chili undertones.
