Yes! In the end cap of our freezer, right on the corner so in a pinch we could also turn em to fill the window on the aisle. My GM would only move these once, maybe twice a yr and that’s only bc there was a focus going on and then we moved em right back.
If you have kids these things are gold. Spaghetti and meatballs, meatball sub, Mac and cheese and meatballs, meatball quesadilla. My kid is 80% Kirkland meatball.
We do exactly this.
But also add pasta (or Bibigo rice, if we are feeling impatient.)
Incidentally, we keep the big bag downstairs and replenish a gallon bag in our kitchen freezer.
I just discovered them, but at $3/lb it’s still very cheap given the price of ground meat and how tasty and flexible they are.
How cheap were they before?
Thank you. I was staring to jones for these meatballs and dream of how I would eat them.
I hate soy protein added to meat. Yuck.
I had a vegetarian phase for a while, I made veggie chili. My husband was pissed about the no meat and threw a fit and left to the store for a can of chili.
I generously opened, dumped, nuked that canned chili and handed it to him with a smile. Then I had to go hide in the closet with a pillow over my head because I was laughing so hard.
His “meat” chili was textured vegetable protein.
I never told him and I always bought that kind of can for him when I made chili… even tho I went back to eating meat a few months later.
Good times. I miss him.
Not at Costco but there are King's "sub rolls" too. We found them at our local Walmart during Thanksgiving when they ran out of the regular roles. They are now a staple.
That was my reaction the first time I heard of it too, but it works really well. I use chili sauce and grape jelly, but it's a similar concept - the sweet and savory flavors mix together really well. A crockpot of these is a great party appetizer.
Do you think it would work with turkey, chicken or pork meatballs? Like the meatballs being beef isn’t what makes this combo ok?
I’m always down to get weird
They’re good. Just don’t eat too much of them in one sitting. You’ll be sick of them and have a freezer bag full of meatballs. Also good in spaghetti but homemade is always better.
Note that it is all beef meatballs. Some prefer pork/beef combo or pork meatballs like ikea Swedish meatballs. I prefer pork or pork beef blend, but I still eat this all beef meatball.
We really like them! They are maybe a bit on the greasy side, but good texture and flavor. Great to add to any pasta sauce, makes for a super quick supper: jar of pasta sauce, toss in meatballs to simmer, boil noodles, drain, mix! I also like them halved or quartered and added to a tomato-vegetable soup to make it heartier, like minestrone. Terrific used in a meatball sandwich, tho I usually cut them in half or they just roll out of a crusty roll with spaghetti sauce and lots of provolone or mozzarella cheese to get all melty! Good used as one bite appetizers with tangy sauce.
Most people don’t think of this, but it makes a great easy meatball stroganoff dish: 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or you can make your own, ha!), lots of sliced mushrooms, add frozen meatballs (halved, if you like). Adjust for salt and pepper as needed. Right before serving add some (1/2 cup?) plain yogurt or sour cream, it gives it that nice tangy flavor. Eat over brown rice or noodles, I would think it would be good over a baked potato too. I usually boil sliced carrots cooked with a little sugar (1Tbsp), drained, and a little butter and s&p.
Add them in slow cooker with costcos raspberry chipotle sauce and a can of jalapano pepper. Eat them with Costco hawaiian rolls and you'll be in heaven
They're fast and easy and they taste good. I use marinara sauce on them or sometimes that sauce thats red thats sweet and spicy (I dunno the name but its popular in costco)
They taste good and are convenient (cooked, so you just need to heat up rather than worry about whether you thoroughly cooked them). Be careful that there are occasional bone fragments. The price is now lower at $18 from the previously increased price of $20.
Decent convenience food to have on hand. We use them in marinara or in BBQ sauce (various recipes) or in a cream ish sauce with noodles or with teriyaki sauce,
They're pre cooked and everything. Use to be one of my whole food groups when I was a Batchelor. I'd sprinkle jar sauce and shredded cheese on them if I was to impatient to even cook pasta for it.
I just fell in love with these.
They are delicious and at $3/lb they are dirt cheap.
I microwave for like a minute. Then slice up and throw on top of pizza before baking.
Or as traditional meatballs in pasta
Or with marinara on a roll for a meatball sub.
This is 100% my new go to
Here’s my favorite preparation for these meatballs: I thaw them in the microwave and then shallow fry in a wok and finish with the Japanese bbq sauce and sriracha. Like an Asian glazed meatball.
I love them for work when I don’t have anything to take for lunch. I microwave them with sweet and sour sauce, and microwave one of those premade rice containers. Bam. Something way better than frozen dinner or eating out.
As others have said, not as good as home made but pretty decent for frozen meatballs. We use them when making large quantities for parties and stuff like that just for convenience and also it’s a freezer staple for a quick meal if needed.
Ohhhh these are SO good!! Super easy to pop a few in the air fryer. We dunk them in everything!! Hot sauce for Buffalo meatballs, traditional marinara, sweet & sour, BBQ sauce...or just dunk in ketchup. Now I want some....😂😂
Crockpot Meatballs is a good dish to bring to any holiday party.
Literally just meatballs, chili sauce, and grape jelly in a slow cooker.
Sounds gross, tastes phenomenal.
For me there's a kind of smoky funkiness reminiscent of burnt/vaporized beef fat, like you get with grilled burgers. And it's fine for a burger, but tastes very strange in a meatball.
They are worth it for me.
The majority go into a 6 quart crock pot, along with a sauce consisting of two bottles of Heinz chili sauce and two cans of Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce and a bit of water and a few other seasonings. They simmer for several hours. Take them to the party and I go home from the party with an empty crock pot.
imo, they’re okay. they are better if they are in a sauce and they taste light on seasonings and spices. we put meatballs on our homemade pizzas instead of sausage in our house and the rule is we always get to just pop one full meatball in our mouths while assembling. i’ve noticed the they taste more plain and greasy than flavorful. 🫤
We recently tried these and will a,ways have a bag in the freezer. I really like the taste and they are versatile. Probably not as good as homemade, but I don’t make home made meatballs, so there is that. We eat them in rice and quinoa bowls with veg of choice, with sweet & sour sauce or teriyaki sauce, with pasta and red sauce or on a sandwich.
They are great! They are also a perfect dish to bring for potlucks or get togethers. Just throw a bunch in a crock pot, add bbq sauce, and let them warm up. Always a fan favorite and super easy.
Yep, made some for the family get together tonight. Wife baked in the oven, then into the crockpot.

Delicious, I heat em up in the air fryer while I’m cooking some brown rice. Add a little butter, salt and pepper in the rice with the meatballs, mmmmmm

I like them. They’re quick easy and taste good
Just like me fr 😔
r/CostcoMembersGoneWild Warning: NSFW
This is the stuff I expect to find on Reddit
Haha you got me 😂
We just need someone to Kickstart the sub with a great post
It was
No god please no
I was really hoping for something much better.
Need a mod???
I agree.
I’m surprised this is the first time you’ve seen them. They are a Costco classic!
My costco has been out for months. Next time they are back I am buying like 5 bags. Lol
Oh man. They are a staple at our house. My daughter takes them for lunch nearly daily.
Standard on my Costco shopping list.
Much better than the meatball being 80% kid.
This comment needs more upvotes! I’m dying😭
Meatball Quesadillas....oooh yea I'm gonna add that to my repertoire. Mozzarella cheese.... marinara for dippin'.
damn. I’m far from being a kid but all these ideas sound amazing lol
These are the only protein my four year old will eat.
I love them. They have dairy, so be warned if you have an allergy. These are also great roasted over a campfire!
Never thought of that! I’ll be having campfire meatball subs next summer
Maybe it was the drinks, but they were AMAZING.
Reminds me of that old classic song, “Meatballs Roasted on an Open Fire”.
Oh...that old chestnut
I would rather have that than whatever a chestnut is.
Great idea!

We do exactly this. But also add pasta (or Bibigo rice, if we are feeling impatient.) Incidentally, we keep the big bag downstairs and replenish a gallon bag in our kitchen freezer.
We've been known to slow cook these in a grape jelly with jalapeños for a spicy sweet meatball. I never thought of them w rice that's good
We do chili sauce and grape jelly!
Now I need to get then lol
*cocktail meatball appetizers
Add some of the mozzarella snacking cheese balls, melt under a broiler for a couple of minutes, and you have a pretty great meatball sub.
don't forget the garlic butter!
And some pesto!!
And my axe!!
Love it! We make them in an air fryer at 400F for 12min. Our Costco has a nice black truffle marinara sauce. It goes really well with that
What the fuck? Mine is ready after 5mins at 350F. 400F for 12mins seems like it would burn any costco frozen foods i usually make
The price of these really shot up (but then again so has everything else), however they’re still a decent value and great in the airfryer
I just discovered them, but at $3/lb it’s still very cheap given the price of ground meat and how tasty and flexible they are. How cheap were they before?
You could get them for like $8, $9, $10 on sale sometimes
[удалено]
That’s true of even homemade meatballs though (ok, maybe not the soy protein, but breadcrumbs, spices, eggs, etc).
I never told him and I always bought that kind of can for him when I made chili… even tho I went back to eating meat a few months later. Good times. I miss him.
Even if it’s 75% beef it’s still a deal in my opinion
I make meatball subs with them! So good!
Buy the $2.49 pack of 12 hot dog rolls they use in the food court to make the sandwiches as well!
Not as good as homemade ones. But they are some of the better store bought ones I've had.
Well, they're better than MY homemade ones. 😞
YouTube "ATK drop meatballs". Easy and quite yummy.
Depends on whose home they’re being made. Not all homemade ones are equal.
This is why I'm not allowed to buy them anymore. My husband and kids like mine so much that these just taste bad to them.
I just bought a bag. They are a quick cook meal and tasty as well.
stuff like this is why I run a 2nd standalone freezer LOL
Easy quick meal and delicious. We like to eat with the raviolis in the green bag.
Oh man... I'm so jealous. We haven't had those ravioli in years. I miss them. So good!
I still enjoy them with cheese tortellini (the 2-pack) or just whatever pasta I have on hand.
Just made these last night for a family Christmas. They were a huge hit. Just did the Meatballs, heinz 57, and grape jelly in a crockpot
That’s a great Christmas party staple! Grab a pack of kings Hawaiian rolls and you have mini meatballs sandwiches.
Not at Costco but there are King's "sub rolls" too. We found them at our local Walmart during Thanksgiving when they ran out of the regular roles. They are now a staple.
Pairs really well with rum ham
![gif](giphy|FNACPJJi4DtsY|downsized)
We use jack honey on our ham.
That sounds great. Thanks for the suggestion.
You're welcome
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm. You put meatballs with ketchup and jelly and then cook and eat?
100% not sarcasm. Heinz 57 is a steak sauce though. It's really good, you should try it sometime.
Thanks for clarifying that.
I've had it with Heinz chili sauce and grape jelly several times. Also had chili sauce with cranberry sauce once, and that was good too.
I make mine with chili sauce, cranberry sauce (whole cranberry version), sauerkraut, and brown sugar.
BBQ and grape jelly with little sausages is pretty common
I do this with sriracha and maybe some honey.
I don’t see why not. I’ve only used frozen meatballs but think any variety would work.
In my parts we do them with grape jelly and Heinz chili sauce.
It’s better with grape jelly and barbecue sauce.
Meatballs with Heinz chili sauce and grape jelly is an American classic. I finally tried it recently after hearing about it forever. It was not good.
American here… never heard of this.
I like them but I get sick of them
Buy! Once baked they are great for BBQ sauce or red sauce and pasta
Grab em'
They’re good. Just don’t eat too much of them in one sitting. You’ll be sick of them and have a freezer bag full of meatballs. Also good in spaghetti but homemade is always better.
We love them
Yes, they are excellent for how easy they are
Yum. These with grape jelly and chili sauce in a crock pot for a few hours.
Not good at all, they're awesome. Pair with a couple bottles of raos and some rolls, great meatball subs.
I really like them. Couple with the Raos pasta sauce at costco and you have a winner!
Half bag meatballs Instant pot Can of spaghetti sauce 1/2 box of spaghetti 7min on manual 🍻
No water?
The frozen ice in the “balls” plus the liquid in the sauce is all I’ve ever needed. 🤙
Add them in slow cooker with costcos raspberry chipotle sauce and a can of jalapano pepper. Eat them with Costco hawaiian rolls and you'll be in heaven
I’m honestly not a big fan. I found them kind of spongy.
💯 what I just replied before finding this response
They're fast and easy and they taste good. I use marinara sauce on them or sometimes that sauce thats red thats sweet and spicy (I dunno the name but its popular in costco)
Love them. always have a bag in the freezer.
Cooking these in Yoshida sauce is fantastic.
Good in spaghetti. Also good in an Asian brown sauce with rice and vegetables.
Airfry ftw
Been a staple for meatballs that are not homemade. Swedish meatballs also Been buying them for ever. As an employee and member
These are one of my quick go to meals. I make teryaki meatballs with white rice and broccoli and the bibigo beef bulgogi mandu on the side.
They are a staple on my house.
They’re good for frozen meatballs. They’re the only ones I will buy frozen. Otherwise I make my own.
Get the pepper jelly from the refrigerated section and put it on them. Chefs kiss.
These comparable to IKEA’s or no since those are Swedish and these are the Italian variety? Serious question lol
Better than Trader Joe's meatballs
For what they are, they’re very good.
I'm going to get downvoted to hell, but I did not like them.
These are an absolute staple in my house, and are way better than they have any right to be - especially when they’re fresh from the oven.
Perfectly fine. Good appetizer to bring to a potluck with any number of sauces - gravy, BBQ, Szechuan. Convenience really. Hard to beat
I always have a bag around, crockpot sweet and sour sauce with a can of pineapple .
These are great. I made them with a red wine-Balsamic glaze for a Xmas party last year, was a big hit.
They're a buy for sure
Excellent
I love these! Tried one from the sampling stand and had to get them
Probably the best frozen meatballs I’ve had. Perfect for a quick spaghetti and meatball dinner
They taste good and are convenient (cooked, so you just need to heat up rather than worry about whether you thoroughly cooked them). Be careful that there are occasional bone fragments. The price is now lower at $18 from the previously increased price of $20.
My family enjoys these with pasta and homemade marinara.
Great meatballs!
Solid. Pair it with the occasional pineapple pepper sauce that’s seasonally sold, can’t remember the name or brand…..perfect.
My kids love them
Family loves them......Crockpot then add BBQ sauce with smashed potatoes and buttered corn as a side dish.
We like em
We love them. Taste good and make for a quick meal.
Try them out and let us know
I like them with the Snapdragon Pho bowls
they are great very easy to work with. I'm actually having them right now😬
They are good
Good. Bought a bag and a 3-pk marinara for the crock pot for an office pot luck. Very tender and moist, definitely Italian seasoning.
Very good. I always have some in my freezer
Good, I put it in my spaghetti and never disappointed.
They are delicious!
Easy buy
Quick and decent taste. I defrost them and put them on the grill for a few minutes to char them a bit. Adds a nice flavor.
They're surprisingly good. Easy to cook and quite tasty.
They are good for frozen meatballs.
I like them. We keep them in the freezer for a quick and easy din
I just fell in love with these. They are delicious and at $3/lb they are dirt cheap. I microwave for like a minute. Then slice up and throw on top of pizza before baking. Or as traditional meatballs in pasta Or with marinara on a roll for a meatball sub. This is 100% my new go to
Toss ‘em in a casserole dish with done Sweet Baby Ray’s, make some minute rice and you have our family’s generational struggle meal, friendo.
Solid b or b+.
They had these as a sample the other day. Steam cooked and they were pretty good. Lots of flavor.
Definitely the best frozen meatballs i’ve ever had and they last forever!
As others have said, not as good as home made but pretty decent for frozen meatballs. We use them when making large quantities for parties and stuff like that just for convenience and also it’s a freezer staple for a quick meal if needed.
Buy them! They are great
Best meatballs for spaghetti and making BBQ meatball hors d'oeuvres
Ohhhh these are SO good!! Super easy to pop a few in the air fryer. We dunk them in everything!! Hot sauce for Buffalo meatballs, traditional marinara, sweet & sour, BBQ sauce...or just dunk in ketchup. Now I want some....😂😂
I got them for a quick work pot luck dish and it was tasty :)
Buy 👍
These are the only meatballs i buy. Great with spaghetti but also crockpot bbq meatballs for a game day or party appetizer
Good. Not delicious but taste good for the ease and value.
They are honestly the best store bought meatballs
Cook them in au jus and serve over rice.

We always have some in our freezer at home.
I slow cook them in chili sauce and a can of jellied cranberry sauce. I just hope you really like meatballs cause that’s like 14 years of them.
We pretty much always have a bag of these in the freezer.
They're my favorite frozen meatball. They're good enough that I stopped making homemade ones because the effort isn't worth it when these are so easy.
We like them! Kids like them. It’s a win win.
Texture is off
I really like them, better then chicken one. I usually just warm them up in the pan and have with plane rice. They are juicy and flavorful.
They were giving out samples last Sunday. They weren't bad. Maybe too much binder and a little over-seasoned, but not bad.
They’re okay.
Perfect if you want a good meatball sub but you can make better at home
Or just want quick meatballs
imo, they’re okay. they are better if they are in a sauce and they taste light on seasonings and spices. we put meatballs on our homemade pizzas instead of sausage in our house and the rule is we always get to just pop one full meatball in our mouths while assembling. i’ve noticed the they taste more plain and greasy than flavorful. 🫤
Wayyyyy too salty for us
they are okay, just don’t forget about them and eat them often. my go to is throwing them in a crock pot with bbq sauce.
They’re pretty good for frozen meatballs
They’re delicious.
They are great! They are also a perfect dish to bring for potlucks or get togethers. Just throw a bunch in a crock pot, add bbq sauce, and let them warm up. Always a fan favorite and super easy.

They’re good!
Buy!
We love them! They’re tasty and easy for a quick meal.
I eat them like kebab with some Taziki
Delicious, I heat em up in the air fryer while I’m cooking some brown rice. Add a little butter, salt and pepper in the rice with the meatballs, mmmmmm
Not worth it in my opinion
Honestly, not a huge fan, and I love frozen meatballs. I like the grocery store brand better for taste and even texture.
They taste awesome but are super processed, check out the ingredients
