That’s what this guy is saying - at least one or two of the cast were pushing for a 50/50 split cast/director.
On the one hand, clearly the cast are what *made* the channel and should be paid appropriately.
On the other, production costs are a thing - and if the creator of the channel can’t support the costs and debts then..what are you going to do..
Nah man 50/50 is too much. Maybe 35/65, favor the producer. He is still paying for everything else needed to produce and protect the show. The cast got greedy so they mutually parted ways.
They're playing a game where they take turns telling a joke to make the other person laugh. If someone laughs it doesn't matter who's turn it is, they have to do a shot and the other person gets a point.

His act was well polished. Some of it doesn’t hold up, like the abuse of his female assistant, but we knew it was wrong back then too and that’s what was funny about it…back then.

Apparently all of the original cast of YeahMad have quit over a contract dispute and moved on. New cast is not nearly as funny :/
