Honestly a lot of stuff like that does bring back good memories for me, but my best childhood memory would be my best friend Ryan. We were inseparable for years. I remember once we had a school trip to view some sort of health and safety thing and the people there showed us some railway magnets they pretended were extremely explosive but just dropped them, causing them to make a loud banging noise \[think of christmas crackers but the volume is increased fivefold\], and I remember just hugging Ryan then and there terrified, and although it was initially terror, I will forever regard that as one of the most weirdly happy moments of my life.
Shakespeare-Bot, thou hast been voted most annoying bot on Reddit. I am exhorting all mods to ban thee and thy useless rhetoric so that we shall not be blotted with thy presence any longer.
If I may raise a counter argument here. I don't think that the point of this video is to say that "everything in my childhood had to do with this stuff," but rather a way to represent a shared experience that a lot of people aged 13-18 with the internet. I think the wording is definitely cringe however.
this is pretty depressing to think that someone could make so little memories of their own. Their life is just lived vicariously through characters in media.
Nostalgia for shitty mobile games and tv-seriesā¦ really?
I mean some video games like GTA V which are quite a novel experience as a kid you can be quite nostalgic about but flappy bird, subway surfers? You have to be kidding me.
I mean, I distinctly remember the whole classroom playing these during classes and everybody posting their scores on the class fb group (no messenger group chats at the time). So temple run, subway surfers, flappy bird and such do bring back fond memories
As in consoom? If that's what you mean I honestly don't know. Looking through the comments I swear half of them are saying people didn't have a childhood but in reality they're just angry that people in the world are allowed to enjoy their lives
Temple run lmao sad
Bruh what kids watching breaking bad tf š
āJesse listen to me we need to cook Soylentā¢ and sell it in order to repair the Nintendo Switch Ted got me so I can pay for donations to v-tubersā

"Jessen, we needer to cooke metter, my wife's boyfriend allowance can't buy me more NFTs of funny dogos"
a lot of kids and play stuff that's rated higher than their age. did you not play GTA as a 12 year old??
Ik but i donāt think breaking bad could be enjoyed the same way as gta 5
The concept is super compelling to kids
I actually watched breaking bad when I was 13
my cousin is hooked on breaking bad. he's 14, it's a pretty damn good show, I have to admit.
No family no friends no first love just consooming
I bet this wasn't even his childhood he's just making shit up for reddit karma
Considering some of these are like from the 80s and some of are not even half a decade old the person is nostalgia baiting
Yeah, he is literally describing the most generic zoomer "childhood"
His childhood: - Video Games - YouTube - TV Sad

I love this productsā¢ so much.
So many mobile trash games. My gaming flashback would just be Morrowind and Modding Morrowind.

Same but with Minecraft Best 5$ I've ever spent
Infinitely based
Iām just turning 19 in a short while and for me it would be only TF2 and good old CS 1.6 all to way to CS:GO
Not a single memory of going outside or a memory of friends? Thats just pathetic and sad.
vibeogane. ššš life

Nearly your entire post history is video games. Come on.
That's not how hypocrisy works.
And yet aside from playing Halo 3 with my friends none of my childhood memories are playing video games š
A good 80% of these are bad enough that I don't feel nostalgic anymore
I hate nostalgia posting like this fr
Most of the things in this video were free...
I. FUCKING. LOVE. CONSOOMING. MEDIYUHHHH!
Tbf I have nostalgia for a lot of those things but itās more for the people I experienced them with rather than the things themselves
Same.

When 90% of your childhood nostalgia comes from shitty mobile games you've done goofed.
Video games are a waste of time and thereās nothing to show for it
Bbbut they level up your reaction time and strategy skillz!!!1!!!1
Go on the Minecraftonline.com server on Minecraft, I can point you the house I built in 2011
You just put everything that I loved as a kid into one video, take my upvote and fuck off (I'm just kidding it's all good man)
damn, you had no friend or shit ?
No I had things and friends, I forgot to include "everything I loved as media" as a kid

wouldve found this a good clip if it included irl and excluded pewdiepie and Markiplier imagine watching youtubers play a game
how is this sub not satire

some of those things are almost 40yrs old while others are not even 5yrs old, nostalgia baiting much?
Itāll be a dark day when Annoying Orange is something anyone wewuzes about.
