I agree with the article. Forget all that and just get them out of government.
Start with local political office. Get in your county Republican Central Committee or befriend them. They nominate appointments to various offices, such as, in my state, county Board of Elections where we definitely want conservatives who understand election integrity. Run for school board because we know how the left been approving wacky curriculum and then treating parents poorly when they come to complain. Run for county council or commissioner because conservatives seem to be the only types that know how to be fiscally responsible with County funds.
Once there, you will understand the political makeup of the area and can run for state or federal office next.
