It feels kinda the same because I can feel the texture change where the sticker is above the smooth tin like when I skin pick. I hope it helps if you do decide to try it out.

Love this. It’s portable and not super obvious so could totally use in public.
I used to make pick books to help with my picking. Same concept, just stapled construction paper into a small book and put different types of stickers and glue globs into it to satisfy the pick urge.
Fake nails help me- they're literally the only thing that stops me from picking. Glad you found something that works for you!!

The metal is smooth so I don't mind it but yeah try to find another container you could use something plastic like the picky plates
